Chart looks good for a bounce from here. Let's see. Shorters dream down to 100 but I'd be closing out now if that was my game. That or getting nervous.

its hard to believe some of the posts on here.

a few with an agenda.

just when we are at the commercialisation stage.

the team have achieved a hell of a lot to get to this stage (rns's)including the govt secondees. (think about it they are not here for no reason).

absolutely loads going on here. and we are at the cutting edge of this revolutionary material.

now whether you think it has taken a long or short time to get to this stage is irrelevant...we are where we are....the past is the past.

look forward and don't listen to the negative b/s that gets posted

personally I believe news is imminent..we shall see.

O/T China,

Not sure many over here would like this approach.

We could still get the BIGT announcement prior to or on the day of the AGM or it could be shortly after. In business, this is what happens. We know the Chinese wanted a 29.9% stake in VRS. This is fact. I trust Neill Ricketts. I don't trust Rainbow. As for club sandwich, I used to enjoy his posts - I'm not sure what's going on in his head any more.

No, I have traded it a few times but since 130p resistance has failed multiple times, I view this as a serious set back, I will review if the sp, eventually breaks and holds above 130p for a few weeks or longer but I remain doubtful this will happen.
Not interested in buying in even if the share price falls well below 100p either, as that says to me the “writing is on the wall” for this once interesting play.

Don’t mind if I am proved wrong but market actions to date suggest I maybe proved right.

Well it might have been a naff few days in terms of a falling share price for VRS but there have been some positives1) I've managed to buy another 4000 shares and reduce my average to 1.18. 2) IQE has risen for a change 3) Watchstone has risen from the grave and the share price has risen some 40 odd pence in a few days after doing nothing but fall for several years! Bring on the court case next month. So not all negatives - and Im sure it won't be long till NR issues a long awaited RNS.

800 posts later and still a complete failure of long term 130p resistance, gone even lower now, soon 100p will be gone, a failure of Neill and his band of merry men to come up with nothing more than pipe dreams (repetitive jam tomorrow stories)

Time for the board to put up something of substance, as the markets are not buying the story to date.

(FUL) got more chance of a 20% rise this quarter!

Some closes above 130p for a few weeks, might change my opinion, otherwise, it’s not going anyway.

Thanks Hattie I wish you well too. RE VRS i don’t really want to get into all the reasons why I moved on I’m not on here to try and set out a case for or against. I understand the reasons why a lot are holding on and I wish you all well.

Haz ... with respect looking back at your posts re VRS it’s difficult to understand your change of heart and negativity , you were keen to stress to others that patience was required and since that time further progress has been made .I wish you well with your alternative investments.

RTG how do you work out it’s ‘low form’ being up front and honest about my position? As you say I was a staunch supporter of VRS and in fact do still wish the company well. A lot of friends are still invested here and I myself still have a small position. I put my hard earned money into the company for a substantial period of time and am disappointed a decent order has not materialised thus far. I am well within my rights to ask pertinent questions and there should be nothing to fear from honest answers. I have no hidden agenda here as some are trying to suggest.

Good evening Rainbow23 - I see that you are up to your old tricks. You are little more than a mischievous man. You've never come clean about your agenda. Why do you spend so much time on this board considering that you are not a shareholder? Clearly, you are shorting or trying to bring down the share price! Anyone who listens to your dribble will lose money. No news is not the same as bad news. When VRS takes off, you'll be ruined.

I liked your explanation dgd.

' no drilling tool used in fracking. The hole is drilled with the tool and fracking is just where a liquid with some propant is pumped to the desired formation and then substantial pressure is applied to force the rock apart where the liquid is forced into the fissures and once pressure is removed, the cracks remain open thus helping any hydrocarbons to flow easier.

They were doing this back in the 70s so don't know why the anti fracking brigade are against it so much. The drilling tool of the RNS in my opinion can only be a mud motor which is a positive displacement tool where the pumped fluid causes the shaft with the drill bit to rotate. The stator of the motor is made with a substantial amount of elastomer which seals against the rotor.

Problems happen when the elastomer breaks apart due to overtorque by stalling and heat build up in the lobes. When the elastomer fails, the motor has to be pulled back to surface and changed. With the addition of graphene to the elastomer, it should increase the power capability (faster drilling rate) and probably help the heat dissipate better (more reliable).

The deeper the well, the more hostile the environment - the Oil operator will demand the best stator and be willing to pay over the odds to make sure it drills faster and be more reliable.

This is a great application and the innovator wants to keep it secret as long as possible while being able to charge a premium before the competition gets wind.
