I doubt they sit down and talk about the "recipe". the board is there to discuss buisiness stratagies. The science will be left to the engineers.

How do you keep secrets from board members? Don't tell them. I doubt that Matt or Chris know the secrets of VRS Graphene production. But, I'd search themn daily for hidden cameras, just in case

How can you keep secrets from other board members at board meetings?

The ‘machines̵7; are only one small piece of the overall process.

Having a Non Exec on the board would hardly give them access to all their trade secrets!

I would be more concerned about the knowledge being gained by students who have been working at GEIC.

If there are a handful of strategic equity placings over time it may make the company bid proof which should allay the fears of those who fear missing out on the whole adventure.

Morning Folks,

I am a big 'fan' of graphene in concrete and this morning I saw a Bloomberg video
about an Israeli company called 'ECONcrete':

They select the concrete in the lab that marine organisms like.

Then they make it into shapes the organisms like e.g. small tidal pools.

Then they build marina's and tidal defences from it which all get stronger
as the various marine life take CO2 out of the atmosphere and stick to it.

Maybe Neill should see if they tried our Nanene in concrete and ask the
organisms what % Nanene they like best !!

Not to mention the possibility of VRS getting caught up in Trump/China 'friendly' relations.

Will the likes of Aecom be happy if China has a seat on the board?

Further, any 15% shareholder is going to start 'asking' for a seat on the board and thereby access to all VRS 'secrets'.

Giving the Chinese 15% will also prevent anyone else in the world making an unconditional bid for VRS.

£20 to £30 million is a pittance for 15% of VRS's future potential.

Why not just sell the machines? Once they are in China they can be reverse-engineered anyway.

China will limit the price any joint venture can charge for Graphene. At the same time, they will be happy to reap 15% of the profits made in free markets.

China will basically be getting graphene for free.

If you think China will keep its promises, just look at Hong Kong.

There are some two thousand potential 2D materials

Examples: • Hexagonal Boron Nitride (hBN) • Molybdenum Disulphide (MoS2) • Molybdenum Diselenide (MoSe2) • Tungsten Disulphide (WS2)

The Graphenes Research into graphene has led to the discovery of a whole family of two dimensional (2D) materials. Some scientists estimate there are two thousand potential 2D materials to explore. The University of Manchester, UK is now using the term ‘graphenes’ to refer to this entire family of materials [16]. Examples of other 2D materials include materials with names like Indium selenide and Molybdenum disulphide. Combinations of these 2D materials are called heterostructures – like a layer cake with strata of different materials. Any combination is possible, which means new materials can be built from the ground up on an atomic level to create materials tailored to exact functions [17]. For example, researchers are already investigating a new material formed by alternate layers of graphene and molybdenum disulphide. Computer modeling shows that this heterostructure has better properties than each individual layer. The structure is more than the sum of its parts. It has higher heat capacity, higher strength and better elastic properties. [18]. Who knows what this exciting area of materials science will create for us?

I realise that we are all excited, but remember there is Hexotene and another 200 2D materials for Versarien to exploit.

Now I am really excited!

yep all moving along nicely.

"The Company can confirm that discussions between BIGT and the Company remain ongoing and that the WFOE has now been successfully incorporated as the Beijing Versarien Technology Company Limited and the business licence has been granted by the relevant Chinese authorities. This will enable the Directors to progress the funding discussions with BIGT. We look forward to updating shareholders regarding developments as appropriate."

I was cynical when the Chinese deal was first announced but now very comfortable that they are doing the right deal with the right people. Also ensure a higher level of IP protection.
