You'd have to have nerves of Graphene to be out of VRS. I imagine VRS will jump massively on bigt news. Plus, news on collaborations will be coming over next few weeks/months. All looking good for VRS. At £10, I'm off to Cayman Islands.

I was kinda expecting Muddy Waters target to be VRS instead of BUR, but realistically VRS is too small a company for them IMO.

Maybe they or Gotham or Garcia will get around to VRS in the future.

johnveals - amazing happenings over at BUR. TW and shareprophets all over it again and Muddy Waters now admitting their short! Clear market manipulation and when will it stop - never I guess as they've all got their hand in the till top to bottom

Or buy washable duvets and wash with the cover on. (Friend with a holiday let cottage does so. Uses thin low-tog duvets which are easier to dry (layer them together with Velcro or studs for higher tog).

The China deal will change sentiment completely so the share price could go through the roof. I decided I don't want to risk misding out.

As we get closer to the time and he is sticking to his target of China before the AGM which owenga is indeed weeks away so it becomes more secure. I suspect it will be before the end of August as he will have allowed a bit of slippage. Anyway the message is clear its going to happen.

Grabster, looks like a good fit. I'm not sure how big these 3D printers can get. Sounds like they could produce pretty large and fairly complex structures. That would enable the company to manufacture products for the end user, a bit of a leap into the technical, design and manufacturing for end use. There are many steps up the food chain on this graphene ladder.

AMT, no he was referring to Aecom launching within a couple of weeks. That will give the share price a boost in advance of BIGT, which is still on schedule to close before the AGM on 24th September..

All based on this culture of fear and the condensed time frame it can act within causing one to panic. Like a sudden fire and gathering what precious belongings one can get hold of, simply repugnant.Well I'm in a bad way in the hallway, thankfully the duvet broke my fall.

Just had that pointed out to me. Sometimes you pick on the wrong guys.

In the news

There is a clear line between appropriate commentary and market manipulation, and Burford is investigating, with the assistance of market experts and experienced outside litigation counsel, the market activities here and will take appropriate legal action should we discover actionable misconduct. We are strongly suspicious that yesterday's significant fall in the share price was based on such actionable misconduct.

Short sellers of this ilk are not long-term investors. Rather, their goal is to panic investors into selling their holdings and thereby to drive down the share price. If investors oblige them, then the attack succeeds, long-term investors are harmed and the short sellers pocket a quick payday.

Companies are largely powerless to intervene in this dynamic other than by continuing to perform, just as Burford has been; the way to thwart the attacks is for investors to recognize manipulation for what it is and not behave as the short sellers hope.

Forget that burrito rubbish. Best to turn the cover inside out, grab the two top corners from inside and catch hold of the two top corners of the duvet.Shake the cover down over duvet and straighten and fasten at the bottom. Done. (Even better if you can hang it over the landing while you shake it).

Has Winnofroty been going after £bur? Probably not a good idea to have a crack at a bunch of lawyers, if so.

Anyone got any more good duvet tips btw?

Oh and what's this 'vrs' some people occasionally go on about?

Neill has suggested a few times that M&A is inevitable in the 2d materials sector and that VRS will only consider this if it benefits VRS. VRS could pick up some great assets at bargain prices. However, in light of all of the progress made by VRS and especially with VRS having the only verified Graphene in the world, VRS must be b looking very attractive and could become a take over target. I hope not, as I think the VRS share price will be many times higher than it is right now in a few years time.
