08/7/2019 10:53 | Hi Scrutable, I think the RNS makes it clear that it is 2 orders: 1 order for 1kg of High-purity GNPs and 1 order for 1kg of Nanene. These amounts could be spread within the company's different departments, but it's definitely only the 2x 1kg orders. But it is definitely exciting news! | ![]() bisho4
08/7/2019 10:42 | "the Company has secured its first graphene orders from the North American corporate research and development centre of a Japanese headquartered company............. I don't think that there is any indication of "how many orders? The phraseology used is unlikely to have been used to reflect just two or three so it could easily be referring to a dozen separate departments and/or companies each being allocated a iKg 'starter pack' so it could be as much as the 12Kg being supplied to the O&G customer. The order is much more significant than it will have appeared to City brokers and traders. It is however the next dot along the exponential curve forming for global sales. The order is clearly a viral multiplier inside the worlds largest manufacturing industry and as it reflects client's confidence following tests is the largest de-risking factor so far encountered in the Nanene investment I join others who have cried out this morning ......"It's simply fantastic news" | ![]() scrutable
08/7/2019 10:29 | Hi Festy, I did have a break from GVC, but I do currently have a position there again. GVC remains my most profitable investment. As I near retirement I'm taking a slightly more cautious approach now and trying to maximise my dividend income. Of course, my natural trading instincts are very much alive so I'm also dabbling in more short-term cap gain opportunities (like here and currently PFC, CARD, SCPA). Hope you're doing well? | ![]() woodhawk
08/7/2019 10:20 | To me, share price is looking good. It gapped up at 0800 BST but that gap got filled in quickly in first hour as 103p was Fridays high and 100.99p has been todays low. Gap ups filled on the same day are more +ve. | ![]() ashehzi

08/7/2019 10:08 | Judging by the lack of share price reaction and volume in general, my thoughts are this: The RNS is hugely significant to those who are following the story closely here as it shows the way things are going, and going quickly. Those who follow the story are already pretty much all in. A few traders sell on the small rise. Those who are NOT up to speed or VRS is not on their radar are unlikely to be drawn in by 1kg orders and would look at Mcap/orders/revenue and shrug. My other main holding is an auto safety product (DMS) from Canberra which I believe is about to land a load of huge auto orders. I really hope that happens in time to get some funds across here before the big one arrives. I got in way too early over there and am currently underwater so don't want to move funds yet. | ![]() clint fleecewood
08/7/2019 10:07 | The recent 12kg order represented a couple of days production. The announced capacity is 3,000 kg/pa. However the value in this recent RNS is not the monetary value of 1kg each of Nanene and Graphene-HP but another step in the validation of the Versarien business model across a wide front. You can believe it, deny it or wait for further confirmation. | ![]() johnveals
08/7/2019 10:04 | In the vector addition of sell versus buy and standing aside , of tug a versus tug b , there is only one outcome as the hopper discharges its loads.Add a proof reader and we're wealthy. Over time. | ![]() alchemy
08/7/2019 10:02 | I think they can do 3 tonnes now. So they should be onto fulfilling this order. | ![]() alchemy
08/7/2019 09:46 | So one assumes 1kg of nanene is about £85k approx , if they got 50 orders of 1kg, over a few months say, how long does it take VRS to manufacture this, or do they already have a stock pile, just trying to work this all out. | ![]() ny boy

08/7/2019 09:40 | GEIC partnership with Highways England could revolutionise road infrastructure in the UK Highways England has become the latest company to partner with the Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre (GEIC). This new collaboration will look to address some of the many challenges experienced by the road network in England, such as the deterioration of road and pavement surfaces. Highways England is responsible for the motorways and major A roads in the country, which carry four million journeys over four thousand, three hundred miles of road network; safely and reliably every single day. The government company is continually seeking to improve the experience of those who use and operate the network. Adding graphene into maintenance and renewals operations has the potential to extend asset life and make the network perform at an industry changing level. Improving the experience of those using the roads, reducing road worker exposure and making journeys more reliable. This partnership is looking to explore the operational and road user benefit of incorporating graphene into assets such as road surfacing and road markings as well as help to drive the development of a low carbon and digital road network. The potential improvements could result in stronger, long lasting materials reducing roadworks and improving road user journeys. Isolated at The University of Manchester in 2004 by Professor Sir Andre Geim and Professor Sir Kostya Novoselov, graphene is the world’s first two-dimensional material, many more times stronger than steel, more conductive than copper and one million times thinner than a human hair. James Baker, CEO Graphene@Manchester said: “This latest partnership is a brilliant example of how graphene can be used to tackle problems faced by most people everyday. “This is further enabled by the facilities and capabilities we can provide to our industry partners, that accelerates the many small improvements that ultimately create an optimised product.” Paul Doney, Innovation Director at Highways England said: “We are really excited about the opportunity to explore leading edge materials and what this might lead to for our road network. GEIC is at the forefront, having made the discovery here in Manchester, and by building a collaboration with our operations teams who understand the challenges, we are looking to deliver improved safety and performance of our roads.” The Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre (GEIC) specialises in the rapid development and scale up of graphene and other 2D materials applications. The GEIC is an industry-led innovation centre, designed to work in collaboration with industry partners to create, test and optimise new concepts for delivery to market, along with the processes required for scale up and supply chain integration. The two-tier membership model allows the flexibility for industry partners to work on short feasibility projects, through to a long-term strategic partnership with multiple projects in different application areas. | ![]() nemo19

08/7/2019 09:34 | Think of this RNS this way: This company with maybe THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of customers tells customer they have new super products, strength, weight, cost or whatever better. Those customer say wow how do they do that? We could do with that in our XYZ products. It's like a massive advertising campaign ! | ![]() laginaneil

08/7/2019 09:01 | Then frankly, VRS shouldn't copy and paste company profiles from their websites in that case. Time and time again, people work these things out by taking a key descriptive phrase and plugging it into Google. Time and time again, it matches. EXACTLY. Word for word. They should know this by now and rewrite it a bit if it's really that important for the sake of the NDA. It's not, excuse me, ROCKET science. | ![]() eel tamer
