Amazing how many here don't simply use the filter button, and instead clog the thread by responding to idiots. It's easy enough - just click the username and select Filter. It's not rocket science.

Well said Ridicule. The thread has indeed deteriorated, as it has been infested by one determined troll. One who I have NEVER met, and didn't invite. Dean Haigh. He lies about everything, but several people seem to lap it up.So I'll keep it to share chat only, and let the moderator do his bit.

I have neither researched or ever owned YGEN or STX pshevlin. You have also clearly missed the whole point that I was making. I have certainly mentioned other shares on this thread in the past, but not when we are just 12 short weeks from pulling off the biggest deal ever for a small company the size of VRS and where the VRS share price is a key ingredient to that deal.

Good interview

Liked the update on China
-Validate value of your material vs competition (check)
-Create demand with major companies MOUs (check)
-BIGT strategic investment investment (c. Sept 2019)
-Locate manufacturing plant (getting the best deal aka funding to support set up - good competition from Hebei, Hubai, Qangdong and Shanghai pushing Jinan)
-Purchase equipment (have existing 3 tonne and we know we have exclusive 2 year agreement when we trigger scale up. Key is if we can unlock autonomous manufacturing for higher volumes as part of this too.)
-Calibrate equipment (took 3 months for VRS site 3 tonne machine)
-Produce - key is that they will create the market so imagine they will want to build the capacity and then chase the demand, but in reality who knows what volumes these could be in the next 3 years. i know its not small!

Nobody touting IOF as alternative to VRS Ridicule. In my mind there is no comparison either in terms of scope, innovation or long term prospects. Added to that it is a company that I feel more at home in. IOF is only a way of making a little more money (short term),hopefully to put in here(long term)and I would never recommend it as an alternative to VRS. By the way IOF has been mentioned on this board well before I mentioned it by Graham himself so I see no problem in bringing it up. Maybe you are all in here but I doubt it having mentioned your own hedges a few weeks ago,YGEN?STX? (all begins to sound a little like hypocracy don't you think).

Here, here ridicule. Neill has done everything he can within rules to help small investors see what lies ahead and benefit from it. By all means diversify if it means you sleep better at night but let's keep talk here to VRS and support Neill and the company at what is a pivotal stage in its development.

This thread is steadily degenerating. There is one important reason not to talk about IOF on here as loyal shareholders; remember, we used to be called the 'VRS Family'!! The reason is quite simple, it is in the interests of all genuine VRS shareholders to support NR in his efforts to get the share price as high as possible during the critical 12 weeks ahead, when the company is negotiating the best possible BIGT price for the 15% in play. I find it pretty incredulous that another company with a very limited business horizon, centred on iodine with many dependencies that they do not control, should be touted as an alternative to everyone getting behind VRS to get them over the line with the best possible BIGT buy-in deal.

The subsequent leverage if the BIGT deal happens is beyond imagination. AS NR stated in the IG interview. The Chinese economy is a command economy, rather than one where companies have to generate a demand through expensive sales and marketing. Having the Chinese equivalent of GEIC x 10000 or more as a 15% stake holder is priceless. That is why HMG has seconded key players into VRS and why we should all be doing everything we can to support NR. Offering advice as to where we should split our money between a colossus and a mouse, even a very promising mouse, does not in any way deliver the support that NR and his team deserves and is in all our interests to provide.

NR's facial expression and body language added significantly to the spoken content in that interview. So much so, that if the sound is switched off, it still generates a positive vibe. ;-)
