It will be interesting to see what Value they put on Versarian for the 15% stake. Hopefully 2 or 3 quid.

Maybe Neill has a plan to do the same with the USA so they and China have 15% each. Neill could win the Nobel peace prize for bringing 2 opposing superpowers together!

Luckykids, pretty sure that's 15% of VRS, which sounds a lot to me. But I'm sure there is a justification for it if Neill agreed to it. Also it sounds like there is another Primary Bid placing on the way in conjunction with this deal - if it goes through. I'm a bit confused I have to admit. Looking forward to the podcast to understand better.

The 15% investment referred to is in the Company (VRS) not the subsidiary....

If they are taking a 15% holding in VRS then it does mean that theyll have a vested interest in protecting the IP from being ripped off. Could that be part of it?

Definitely 15% in VRS. The Company has a capital C, which means it is a defined term. If you look at the start of the rns, it's refers to Versarien as the "Company".

luckykids - seems ambiguous, but until clarified many will read it as 15% of Versarien, which is how it looks to me at present.

It does mean the Company, ie VRS. They're going to take 15% of VRS. That's how i read it.
