Brilliant news, Matt is a star with a good head on his shoulders. He is a go getter who rolls up his sleeves and gets stuck in, certainly not the 9 to 5 type.
Great to have his stay extended.

Great news would have been the ‘expected̵7; deal update. Market about expectations ‘tanagableR17; now ‘expects’; disappoints — although a long term holder, trying to be patience. Still believe

Actions speak louder than words. There is no way the DIT would let MW stay for another year to blow hot air and collect air miles. The DIT is going to be very busy post whatever Brexit happens so experienced hands are a highly valued asset.

AIMHO etc.

29 March 2019Versarien plc("Versarien" or the "Company") Extension of DIT Secondment Versarien plc (AIM: VRS), the advanced materials engineering group, is pleased to announce that Matt Walker, who has been on secondment to the Company since May 2018 from the UK Government's Department for International Trade ("DIT"), has had his secondment extended for a further year to May 2020. The DTI have agreed that given Matt's contribution to Versarien's overseas investment ambitions, in particular in China and South Korea, existing collaborations and overall furtherment of Versarien's international business it is appropriate that his secondment is extended. Neill Ricketts, CEO of Versarien, commented: "We are delighted that the DIT have agreed to extend Matt's secondment for a further year. Matt has already provided a significant contribution to Versarien, particularly with regard to our activities in Asia and with a number of our collaboration partners. We look forward to continuing to benefit from his skills and experience as we further process our international business."I would like to express my sincere thanks to the Department for International Trade and the UK Government more widely for their continued support, and in particular their faith in Versarien through continuing to second such a senior resource."

To be fair spid hasn't been trolling the board recently. I never worry if the contrary view is well reasoned and balanced, just not when it not nIt picking continual negative commentary just for the sake of it and continual references to FGR.We will have our day and may the FGR holders do well also

Now pop over to the Aecom Middle east property and construction handbook for 2019 page 42

3D printing is another example that is leaking over from the manufacturing industry. 3D printing has been used for some time to create scaled-down prototypes to validate and demonstrate design intent. Now the technology is being taken to the next level, where we are starting to print at one- to-one scale using both traditional construction materials, such as concrete, and non-traditional ones such as graphene-infused polymers.

So the chief exec of Europe, Middle East, Africa and India, head of 20,000 staff for some reason more or less says watch out for Aecom arch.

Well said bisho

The headless chickens used to drive me nuts, but 10 years on it’s just typical advfn fantasy fiction premier league stuff.

As it stands huge, sorry HUGE opportunities are ahead for VRS. The real deal with various companies on a grand scale.

What others do while we wait for those to drop in as fact, is up to them.

A fixation on Aecom at the moment and perhaps rightly so for those staring down a one way street, not realising they are stood on a multiple junction with juggernauts approaching from all directions.

Some think they know what the juggernauts are, but I see no sign of recognition here or anywhere else.

Stop staring at ADVFN, ‘look’ around.

Just chill!?

But I wanna have a share price dip brought on by a PI-generated panic-induced sell-off, ably assisted on ADVFN by Spid's predictable trolling and fueled on twitter by the world's least grateful shareholder Ian and the reappearance of Darren and his pizza delivery cronies, and I want it NOW!

Seriously, though, Woody's find was brilliant. No need to claim VRS is the "Best Ever Graphene in the Universe Ever", just a calm reliance on hard data, easily proven to interested parties.
