didn't NR say more than 6 months ago that he would be disappointed if he hadn't announced a deal in 6 months? Didn't he also say, the next announcement needs to be a deal several months ago. Wasn't SuperG predicting deals within a couple of weeks before Christmas. Just saying it's taking longer than folks think to get a deal over the line. There has been some progress but the £££;£ deals remain elusive for now.

Probably time for you and a few others to sell up then Davemac don't you think? There are plenty of investors happy with progress being made but a small minority making a lot of noise constantly bleating about a perceived lack of progress. If VRS are not meeting your expectations SELL UP and find a better company to invest in.

Fest I quite agree with you - Time after time on this board we have hitched ourselves to various perceived deadlines for example Jinan by June ISO imminent et cetera and been disappointed when that deadline has slipped. This is because an impression is given that Neill is not in control of matters whereas in the background a lot of other avenues have developed that were unexpected
My prediction based on no inside knowledge is that no deal will emerge by Friday to set us alight but that we will have good news within the next few weeks. That is real life which is dictated by other companies teething problems with production lines and many other issues which most of us can’t fathom. The company can’t dance to the tune of expectant shareholders

Nobody on here can deny that commercialisation is taking longer than most of us thought. From the noises NR was making several years ago, it seems it's taking longer than he thought too.

This from almost 3 years ago:
Commenting on the final results, Neill Ricketts, Chief Executive Officer of Versarien, said: "Versarien has made considerable progress this year moving its disruptive technologies towards production and commercialisation. We can now offer five types of graphene out of our manufacturing facilities in Cheltenham and we are in the process of securing the IP surrounding the production processes in all key territories. Since the year end we have formed partnerships that will allow us to accelerate our entry into markets that we believe will significantly benefit from the unique properties that graphene offers.

It may come good in the end but how long will it take? Perhaps NR and VRS should stop putting timescales on projects as they never seem to meet them.

Axotyl, I despise mindless ramping as much as mindless deramping. We've seen loads of both on here.I'm merely going straight down the middle and discussing what is likely to happen in a certain scenario.I thought you didn't care about daily or short term price movements? If you fear that anything I say might affect the share price of a listed company than perhaps you shouldn't be investing in the stock market.

Well it’s been a long wait for the faithful. If exceptional news about AECOM doesn’t pop up this week I believe that the share price will take quite a hit from disappointed speculators checking out.

A brave poster on here pointing out the obvious and gets slagged off for it!

I see that the likes of woody are already getting excuses in place for no substantial updates.

What do you really think is going to happen to the share price when there is no evidence of orders - pointless denying it!

But why? If you can't see there's no point in explaining. You're saying it's a good idea to post negative conjecture and no matter if the share price drops because of it so we can buy cheaper?

Axotyl, I'm not sure what your issue is? Please explain?I'm not expecting a deal with AECOM not to materialise, I'm just predicting what I feel could happen in the days to come if one doesn't.Many on here won't be concerned anyway, they've said as much.Nor will most be worried if the share price slips, many on here take advantage of these so called Buying Opportunities.I would too, but I can't.

Well it's been a long wait for the faithful. If exceptional news about AECOM doesn't pop up this week I believe that the share price will take quite a hit from disappointed speculators checking out.All throughout Q1 there was also an expectation, or at least a chance, that if not AECOM, then another partner would emerge to place a substantial order.Maybe Axia? The Sports clothing collaboration? Aerospace? or Arrowgreen in India. But nothing has materialised. It's a shame because the share price could have gained some real traction, as commercial ventures were seen to come to fruition.

Re NR's confirmation: I don't think he has an alternative other than to confirm it, as the alternative is another RNS saying its been delayed, which he doesn't believe to be the case 'as of a few weeks ago'.

We'll just have to wait and see.

Agreed Woody and NR confirmed on Twitter a few weeks ago that the AECOM update is still scheduled for Q1. My guess is that we'll hear something by the close of play on Friday.

swizzL - Aecom are involved in many areas that don't relate to their VRS connection. That contract appears to be one such. The remediation of contaminated ground.

A few days' slippage on AECOM news makes not a jot of difference to long-term holders and gives extra opportunity for new 2019-20 ISA top-ups. Had I been a short-term holder, I would have been constantly badgering about this Q1 news deadline (to the pedants, note the pluperfect has been dutifully included!!).

Noting Superg1 post 64424, Milton Fund have been selling monthly at following rates into VRS news:

- 2 million shares between Nov 2018 to end of Jan 2019
- 525k shares in Feb 2019

Leaving about 500k left to sell in March 2019

With 3 excellent sets of news released in March, i.e. Further Chinese Aerospace Collaboration, LOI with Tunghsu Optoelectronic & USA Update, I wonder if Milton have now finally sold all their shares into this March news!?

With AECOM news imminent let’s hope so!
