Right the data will be out soon for Feb so let's see WTF has been going on.

So once again just like I said to Timbo re Arden on a path to destroy the Haydale share price.

Spid

FGR are desperate for cash it runs out shortly. The fund raise roadshow has just started. If the ASX is anything like the AIM system then the share price will be smashed and discount sorted.

Contacts that way tell me Warwick is not well thought of and known for BS.

Plan A was to get money via the AIM, NOT to go back to Aus cap in hand.

I couldn't give a damn what happens to the FGR SP, crash or 10 bags. I don't trust a word they say and therefore could never invest in them.

Nothing I have ever not trusted in 10 years has had a good performance. All have crashed and many have gone bust.

Morning Folks,

I know some people on here have good intentions of telling new PIs about the
bad guys on here BUT if you don't talk to them OR ABOUT them they will go away.
Then you don't need the warning...

PLEASE filter them as others have advised many times.

Maybe then some of the experienced good guys will come back when they don't have to wade through a load of tripe post's.

Tickets were allocated on the following basis, as you know this is a much smaller venue and different occasion to GEIC. 2/3's of allocation went to existing SH with those not attending GEIC first, some new contacts chosen by either the company or TMS. There is a reserve list.

There is a fair chance I know graphene as well as any PI in the world and the range of relevant companies.

I chose to invest in graphene and research relevant companies.

I am not defending VRS against others.

It's quite simple, if I thought there was a public graphene company out there with a good case then I would invest in them. The suggestion it's in defence of VRS is mad. I could invest in any such company I like and would IF the team were also good.

I didn't have the benefit of hindsight when I said the market on the AIM re graphene was upside down.

AGM (the liars) were at the top in value, Hayd were up there with them and VRS were at the bottom.

Research on graphene suggested VRS had the best product and therefore were likely to attract the most attention from big names.

While it was not obvious searching on the web I could see huge companies were researching graphene use in various products and had been let down by some graphene pretenders.

2 + 2 + they would migrate to VRS once they learned VRS have genuine graphene and gains to offer.

VRS were claiming grams per day and others worst case were claiming 100 of tonnes per year production.

One by one I went through dozens of companies as claims funding the same problems all the time. False claims or simply graphite being called graphene.

So based on the research I thought VRS would see some big interests as the big names realised what they have.

Well on that front it's been absolutely mad totally beyond what I could ever have expected. All the big countries talking to VRS, VIP invites to top Chinese give officials, DIT seconds. In and out of number 10.

It's completely nuts, unheard of on the AIM.

Pretty much what I did in 2015 SG when I was working at Manchester Uni. I'm not an engineer, IT. But their intranet was full of info propounding graphene and I I was looking to invest in something for my sipp and ISA. It really caught my eye and after researching all the companies I could find to do with graphite, graphene and 2d materials VRS seemed the only one with long term and disruptive prospects. I bought in to them at around 17p and have stuck with them and topped up with more along the way. I still haven't seen or read anything to change my mind.

CS still has an active account on ADVFN. Claims it can't be cancelled before Jan, I think he said. He's already on his 3rd Twitter handle since giving up the CS persona. Slightly less aggressive but getting worse by the hour. Won't be long before he's back to full, awful, speed. Needs to seek professional help.

sg re not engaging - whilst I agree in principle, in the case of CS, it was only IMO because we eventually engaged and seriously challenged him and threatened to expose him to his employment agency, that he got the message and (apparently) cancelled his subscription to ADVFN.

Since then this board - apart from the temporary appearance of shorters - has been mostly agitator free.

We know that Club (Ian Westbrook) has now re-started his 'engagement' with Neill on twitter (thosethatdieunshriven) but is getting nowhere - no surprise.

Best wishes - Spike

Graphene companies.

I researched graphene hype way back and the talk of bendy phones and commuter chips out me off.

Graphene nano caught my attention but back then they were just sticking graphite in oil as a lubricant which looked like it was going nowhere and it all went wrong.

I looked at the companies as possible investments. I though Haydale looked fab but quickly realised they didn't produce any graphene at all, were buying graphite and functionalising it and calling it graphene. False info on the website re claims, 7 redundancies including some top guys over a lost order (all denied, and not realised as news).

They were hiding the bad bits and selling themselves as essential to all in the industry which was untrue.

So that was an easy walk on and I tried to warn PIs.

AGM

The production process is complicated and looked expensive. The CEO was a lying toe-rag and proven to be so. They released news that was untrue. Year after year reports suggested they couldn't scale it up.

The CEOs in both cases got the boot, stepped down/retired is a load of BS.

Talga

Well we had plenty here telling us it was the best company out there including Timbo due to the Haydale connection. Warwick Grigor who had done his DD chucked some money into it, pumped it as the best graphene company out there blah blah blah.

What Warwick and co realised EVENTUALLY which I spotted from the off was the complete BS about production and that the vast majority for Talga fell into the many layer graphite range with a tiny fraction that may fit graphite.

Once they all realised Talga, the Talga herd moved onto FGR and so the game started again.

Been away working for a few days, so I have missed most of the action here. I am extremely confident about the prospects for both the company and share price and I am pleased that we should have some new investors aboard. For us long termers, anyone who wanted to add has had a golden opportunity in my honest opinion.
I am very excited about Yi coming aboard and what she can add to the team.

Davemac, re Aecom I think this extract from the first article you have referred to is also reassuring:

"We will continue to offer integrated project and construction management services but will be changing the way we do self-delivery [on] ‘at risk’ construction projects here in the UK, working with delivery partners in the future rather than taking on the work in-house."

Re: VRS Lunch on 7th at Moorgate.

Certainly a good idea for it to be for potential new investors.

I have also not heard anything which is a very poor show - I expected an acknowledgement of my interest at the very least, and subsequently a response telling me whether I had succeeded in gaining a place or not. (I responded both on twitter and email).

Very unprofessional I'm afraid!

Potential new investors would not have been following Neill on Twitter, so I'm guessing most places went to our new nomad's clients.

Best wishes - Spike

The Versarien Share Price Is Up 529% And Shareholders Are Delighted

Simply Wall St February 28, 2019

Versarien plc (LON:VRS) shareholders might be rather concerned because the share price has dropped 38% in the last month. But that doesn’t change the fact that the returns over the last three years have been spectacular. Indeed, the share price is up a whopping 529% in that time. So the recent fall doesn’t do much to dampen our respect for the business. The share price action could signify that the business itself is dramatically improved, in that time.

We love happy stories like this one. The company should be really proud of that performance!

Check out our latest analysis for Versarien
Versarien isn’t yet profitable, so most analysts would look to revenue growth to get an idea of how fast the underlying business is growing. When a company doesn’t yet make profits, we’d generally expect to see good revenue growth. Some companies are willing to postpone profitability to grow revenue faster, but in that case one does expect good top-line growth.

Versarien’s revenue trended up 33% each year over three years. That’s much better than most loss-making companies. And it’s not just the revenue that is taking off. The share price is up 85% per year in that time. Despite the strong run, top performers like Versarien have been known to go on winning for decades. In fact, it might be time to put it on your watchlist, if you’re not already familiar with the stock.

Depicted in the graphic below, you’ll see revenue and earnings over time. If you want more detail, you can click on the chart itself.

We’re pleased to report that the CEO is remunerated more modestly than most CEOs at similarly capitalized companies. But while CEO remuneration is always worth checking, the really important question is whether the company can grow earnings going forward. It might be well worthwhile taking a look at our free report on Versarien’s earnings, revenue and cash flow.

A Different Perspective
Investors in Versarien had a tough year, with a total loss of 11%, against a market gain of about 1.0%. Even the share prices of good stocks drop sometimes, but we want to see improvements in the fundamental metrics of a business, before getting too interested. Longer term investors wouldn’t be so upset, since they would have made 23%, each year, over five years. It could be that the recent sell-off is an opportunity, so it may be worth checking the fundamental data for signs of a long term growth trend. If you would like to research Versarien in more detail then you might want to take a look at whether insiders have been buying or selling shares in the company.

We will like Versarien better if we see some big insider buys. While we wait, check out this free list of growing companies with considerable, recent, insider buying.

Great post Ellissj,

I think your starting to work out how important the lateral platelet size is,

For an example the Versarien aircraft part requires GNP-HP not FLG (Nanene)

GNP-HP Specs

73% 10 layers
27% 10-100 layers,
It offers a lateral platelet size of upto 27 um. no average quoted

Nanene on the other hand has 90% sub 10 layers
with a platelet range from 0.01 - 10Um,
the company previously quoted nanene had a average platelet of 2um,

obviously the more you crush / mill the graphite the smaller the layers are, the platelet size also reduces significantly,

if layers are so important, why did the aircraft trim get strength improvement/weight saving from GnP, which is not FLG or MLG that FGR produce ?
