Its all a gamble but VRS are better odds to make it than most, remember its a disruptive tech, the road to graphene becoming a part of everyday life will be a long one. Just remember its very very early days, look around, what other companies have the contacts and the backing in this tech....not many if at all. Share prices rise and fall, it is up to you to make your moves, personally i think there is too much in the piplene for VRS not too become a great company and make money but remember where you are, nothing is set in stone DYOR and good luck on your journey.

I see Zippy Bungle & Geoffrey is here. All we are seeing is coordinated short attack. They want o grab your shares. The muppets on here primarily paid by their masters. Surprised this has dipped to here. However, its likely that someone knows there is info void gap, so the monkeys are taking their chance before info comes out.

Groundhog day with the bulls/bears, just a different stock. Looks like a new reality is on the way here, some sort of really unfavorable development (my guess).

Phew 206 posts I can't be bothered to read those as most will be the usual whining nutcase crew.

I have spotted the Fullerex bit on the Fullerex sight, someone did say it's on here somewhere.

Been busy all day and currently looking at the delights of Rochdale as I have to spend the week there shortly (oh joy of joys)

No chance to buy any today or watch what was going on re level 2

Odd moves considering the buy sell balance but I have no time to watch any of the action to work out what is going on.

Did CS sell we did advise him too. If not a silver lining re the drop with the steam going out of his ears.:-). Not good for some but if you are not geared and fully understand the business then no worries.

I bought some the other day, a bit early on the drop but that's the way it is in such circs.

Time to watch some footy.

Swizzl - just over a year investing myself. Heavily invested here. I have learnt the hard way on other stocks that have absolutely bombed. They were punts tho and generally in the oil and resource space. I think everyone needs to go there and lose some money to learn the hard way. In those cases I sold at great loss. I’m carrying a loss here too however, this isn’t a binary punt stock. This has remarkable potential across so many industries. And as we are young we can watch this one rise over the years. When the collabs start coming to fruition we’ll be absolutely fine. I’m just using this dip to add more and bring down my average. I would never do that on the Oilers I lost loads in cos they were dead and buried. We are buried here but certainly not dead. We have seeds under the buried ground which will grow into enormous trees. All in my opinion but you just have to read the RNSs to see the overwhelming potential. Buy low sell high (or never at all)

swizzL my situation reflects that of your own. I'm a young single dad with all my savings invested in VRS. We have the advantage of time, providing you don't need the money soon. If you believe in the VRS story, just ride it out and let the story play out. Alternatively, reduce your holding to reduce the risk. Tough day and I feel your pain, but I'm sat enjoying steak and chips, whilst sipping a margarita. Tomorrow is a new day.The reason I invest is because I believe VRS can run a better, and more successful business, than myself setting up. Those that criticise the management/business model, who have their own company, ought to have a long think about why they didn't invest that money in their own business (No names mentioned) if they're the 'bees knees'. Talk about biting the hand that feed you, then wondering why you're hungry! Glalth

Appreciate the responses, i guess you are right in what you say, the reasons I have invested in this company have not changed, nor anything in relation to the company as far as we know. Ive not been in a position before watching money disappear drastically on paper, however, that’s only for now if I believe it’s going to change! Scary tho! I hope the share price isn’t the indication of something I don’t understand and am being naive as to hold out! That’s all!

swizzl. That is a decision only you can make.

Be careful of what you read as some are goading holders to sell, so they can make more profit on thei shorts and money on the way back up.

Personally I have £200k+ less now than at the peak. I have sold some shares and ready to deploy those funds in VRS as I do believe in the company and their strategy.

Sleep on it and ask yourself why you invested in VRS and has anything changed to make you change your mind other than the share price. Good luck with your decision the market can be a bloody place and it is not for everyone.

Swizzl, this is not advice but my own experience of investing over the last five years. Lessons to myself :Don't invest money you can't afford to lose. Diversify the portfolio. Anything can happen to one stock but it's unlikely to happen to several stocks (10 in my case) Research, research, research. Don't get emotional about a stock. Don't be afraid to sell at a loss if you don't like the business anymore. If you do like the business, ignore the noise, switch off the TV and wait for things to come good.

swizzL, no one can answer that question for you I'm afraid.

All I'll say is that that was a really rubbish day share price-wise but as far as I'm concerned it matters not a jot. I've lost nothing because I haven't sold a single share and I still firmly believe in my investment so I'm just as excited as ever about where this company is going.

Hi SwizzL, it's not easy or comfortable to watch your assets decreasing on paper! But if you've done your research into this company, then you know the immense potential that can be realised, which is why you bought into VRS in the first place. Nothing has changed as far as we know with respect to the company. In fact, the outlook has only improved.

I'm in a similar siutation as you. I'm sticking with it because the share price doesn't reflect the underlying company behind it, and I have complete faith in the board, the product and the potential.

The share price movement is bizarre, but I trust it's only short term. As others have said, I wish I had more spare cash at these prices to top up.

You have to make your own decisions in situations like this but if you have done your research and nothing has changed other than the share price then that's where I am. Only you can make the call though

Hi all, I have only posted once on this board since joining as it was rainbow back last year that me sign up as for all his nuisance posts I found him quite funny. I’m a long term holder, got in at 107 last year and continued to buy more on the rise and then fall from 180 last buy being about 115. The trouble is, I’ve done my research and consistently read this board however I’m only young, I’ve invested pretty much all of my own savings of 10k as I genuinely thought(believe) from everything I’ve read this will eventually rocket as the potential is huge. However, being a novice invester, am I being stupid watching all my money disappear in hope it changes? Or should I be selling now? Or is that the risk I need to be willing to take to lose it all or possibly gain. Tough place to be in!

One possible explanation of what's been going on:

Ricketts' political masters (Fox, Hammond) have been leaning on him to actually sign a deal in China (they need something positive and international to trumpet even more desperately than VRS needs a significant deal) - but Ricketts doesn't want to sign a deal on the valuations currently offered by the Chinese (he has explicitly said this several times). He's been hoping that one of these fairytale £100m deals Graham has been going on about will come in to significantly boost VRS's valuation and let him sign in China without being totally shafted on valuation - but if these deals exist at all there has been a delay, and it's taking too long. So in a panic he has gone to this two-man brother outfit with a brief to get the biggest deals they can as quickly as they can. On a 10x multiplier (and yes, I know there are other valuation metrics) every £10m deal they can get is worth £100m on the MC - a few of those and the share price should rise even more than purely on those deal valuations as confidence returns and the company starts to prove it can deliver. Plus when the MC hits a certain threshold, as Fest has pointed out, sell-side (and then buy-side) analysts and IIs get interested, which might bring a further share price boost.

How does all that sound?
