19/2/2019 18:48 | Tini, the red flag is the tiny Ltd company when they normally tell us about the giants they deal with. Have you bothered to look at their turnover and/or accounts? | ![]() red7al
19/2/2019 18:47 | Seems that the locusts have arrived in force. Has any body counted just how many of these vermin have appeared out of the blue. Self evidently a co-ordinated attack which despite their sustained efforts will be without effect on those who see them and their poisoned words for what they are. The truth remains unsullied we have the accolade of recognition from the DIT, The graphene associations, testing and regulatory bodies in the UK, America and China. Who are these insects to besmirch our attainments. We have real credibility they have none. We have established relations with international corporations and fortune 500 companies and a disruptive technology that will impact across more than 40 industry sectors. Who gives a toss what these mercenaries say. It is we who will reap the greatest harvest by simply ignoring them and patiently wait for the inevitable massive growth to follow. Do not allow them the crumbs from our table. | ![]() evergreen8

19/2/2019 18:42 | Newsletter comes out from Sam. Presumably any return queries are directed back to David - I fail to see what is so unusual or why it should be a red flag. | ![]() tini5
19/2/2019 18:37 | 2% of Versarien shares in issue traded, 15% fall in market capitalisation. It should never happen, but we've seen this phenomenon many times before, but only on AIM. Especially where there are no institutional holders, that's very rare in itself and I fear that.Completely disproportionate fall though. The brokers are raking it in.Sometimes there is a real rebound on such stocks on a good progress RNS.Without that it would sail straight through to the 50s.There's nothing to stop it, except the company itself. | ![]() festario
19/2/2019 18:34 | Still say wish l had more to invest, every dog has its day and this is definatly not a dog, cheers. | ![]() wuzy
19/2/2019 18:33 | Hello Spike. I just think it is a little odd to have the email sender as Samuel and the reply address is different. In my mind if Samuel is sending it he should have replies/queries etc back to him or David send it in 1st place. I'll not labour the point, as this is least our concerns. Thanks for your response. | ![]() red7al
19/2/2019 18:28 | Red7- sounds like an announcement to commercial contacts rather than investors, hence the David Kerr connection and no RNS. Neither bullish nor bearish imho. | lovat scout
19/2/2019 18:27 | red: try harder to explain why you believe it 'a little odd'. No offence intended, and yes I know you are indeed a LTH. Best wishes - Spike | ![]() spike_1
19/2/2019 18:24 | "Real small fry for a company that was concentrating on its top 5 global brands. Doesn’t add up!" quite, as I said, stinks of desperation. | ![]() club sandwich
19/2/2019 18:12 | Spike. I am LTH. What do I need to try harder at? | ![]() red7al
19/2/2019 18:11 | Sphere25: "no position, just being a good samaritan" VERY FUNNY - what an idiot, and a bit late posting, most of your mates have been at it all day - do try harder. | ![]() spike_1
19/2/2019 18:08 | Yes as they say they have helped dozens of companies in this space. I sense none of them have been successful so would appear to be the perfect partners. Let's be honest any delivery of revenue would be welcome. Real small fry for a company that was concentrating on its top 5 global brands. Doesn't add up! | philbyk7
19/2/2019 18:08 | red7al not if you know who Samuel works for and his position. You will have to try harder - a LOT harder than that. | ![]() spike_1
19/2/2019 18:04 | Lovat scout, part of email "I am very pleased to announce that Versarien has entered into a Consultancy Agreement with Fullerex Ltd, a leading global independent broker of nanomaterials and nano-intermediates. Versarien and Fullerex will be working together on existing customer engagements in specified sectors where their experience will assist in the commercialisation process. Fullerex will also work closely with Versarien's existing support network, including DiT secondees and the Catapult centres. Fullerex are well positioned to accelerate the incorporation of Nanene and Hexotene into several important application areas and the relevant markets", email from Samuel Nivision with return address of David Kerr ... Also a little odd | ![]() red7al
19/2/2019 18:02 | David Kerr emailing investors direct. A mailing list. Thats a huge red flag.... | ![]() general george
19/2/2019 18:00 | Red7 - clearly I’m not on David Kerr’s distribution list! If they can bring something to the party great, if not nothing lost by the sounds of it. | lovat scout
19/2/2019 17:55 | Re - Fullerex: my guess is as follows: we know VRS are at the stage with some collab's were they are negotiating purchase contracts. Fullerex would appear to be a useful independent arbiter of product value in a nascent 'industry' where comparators must be difficult to come by, and this being the case, they appear knowledgeable as to the value that can be placed on various graphene companies products, an it would seem, they are impressed with Versarien and their products. But it is only a guess. By the way if we get an RNS tomorrow morning, don't get too excited until you've read it, it is perfectly possible that it will 'simply' be a 'we know of no reason for the fall' etc. Not that that RNS would be bad news it might encourage those waiting to enter or add to jump in, and at the same time signal to shorters to take profit whilst they can. We shall see. Personally I shall sleep easy either way. I got stopped out on one of my spread bets early on today but as mentioned previously I am not in the least bit concerned, I have plenty more positions with stops much lower down, and cash in the account covering it (as far as well below zero). I did not sell any 'real' shares and have absolutely no intention of doing so. I sold the ones I needed to much higher up (as mentioned previously) and am in no hurry to sell any of the ones I have. Again as previously stated I will probably gradually start selling down from 2022, but only because I'm becoming an old fart and want to enjoy it whilst I still can. Best wishes - Spike | ![]() spike_1
19/2/2019 17:50 | “Perhaps the guys said we can get you orders” If that’s true, it’s a sign of utter desperation on the part of VRS, and an admission that they are incapable of turning their own collabs into contracts and revenues in anything like a reasonable timeframe. The decline is very simply explained: everybody has been hanging on for the ‘staggering | ![]() club sandwich
19/2/2019 17:48 | Lovat scout, I'm guessing you have not read the email from David Kerr today highlighting this very agreement.Take a look at their accounts year ending 2017 and 2016. They look like poor figures for a "Global Independent Broker". | ![]() red7al
19/2/2019 17:42 | Hello biutiful people VRS does remind me of GRPH which I shorted from 75 to sub 5p. GRPH Too, was issuing rns like there was no tomorrow. GRPH Redux IMHO most likely. For me countless of rns always been a big red warning, no money filling the coffers is probably all BS. I am afraid to say it's time to show me the money. I may buy some at 9p-10p for a dabble. 19/2/2019 17:38 | Red7 - the announcement was made by Fullerex not VRS. My take on it is that Fullerex are well connected in the nanotechnology sector and if they can bring some extra bandwidth to the VRS sales channel they will be paid for it. As long as Fullerex are competent there seems little downside as I’m sure everything they do will be approved in advance. Not material news for VRS hence no RNS but good news for Fullerex. General George - those red flags are all the Chinese orders lining up ;) | lovat scout
19/2/2019 17:38 | Ask yourself the right question: VRS: Why is it valued at this ridiculous price in the first place? Small revenue, small assets, small profit... Next stop 55p. Financial Highlights Revenue, £5.22 million Loss before tax remained stable at £0.78 million (H1 2017: £0.77 million) after increased investment in the graphene businesses Cash of £6.07 million at 30 September 2018 (30 September 2017: £0.35 million) following successful fundraising of £5.15 million gross in September 2018 Net assets increased to £12.32 million (30 September 2017: £5.72 million) 154,000,000 shares x 86p = £32,000,000 WHY? THIS IS LUDICROUS, LOL | ![]() alamaison5
19/2/2019 17:35 | red7 - the same thought appeared to me. Perhaps the guys said we can get you orders, well i hope they can, i wonder what sort of deal they are on though? | ![]() ayl30 |
