Hawk"It was more wanting to get the reassurance for a re-entry"I'd wait a few weeks mate, if I were you - unless Ricketts actually delivers something soon, and there's absolutely no sign he will, you'll be able to buy them much cheaper. As for China 'bubbling away nicely' - do you not read the news, you bloody fool? Major diplomatic incident today WITH CHINA as a result of Williamson's big mouth. With a mouth that big maybe he should be recruited by Versarien...

Fair enough Ellis, and I will not openly post my potential black swan items here, only by PM if anyone wants to know. They are too horrible to contemplate, but did happen. But, just to remind you, it was you who said you could not foresee any such events. I can, and one should.

Fest, i don't know anything about iof, or if those circumstances you found there can replicated here. If they can be or equally apply to other risk/reward shares, pls ask yourself why you trade on risk/reward ? Surely you should be in other stocks, further down their road, already commercialised. Like hawk admits, already producing? The problem you face, is that lightening never strikes twice, albeit never in the same exact way. Similarities, yes, but not the same. Thus it's easy to become confused and believe 2 different events represent the same thing when they don't. I trust the management here, and believe in the products, and the strategy. With cash in the bank, vrs are well placed to claim the success their skill and hard work deserves and on holders behalfs too. Aimo. Best ellis.

"Most of us are here to follow a company that is breaking new ground, has unbelievable governmental and academic support and is IMO going to be more successful than any of us could probably even hope."

Actually no. Most of us here are not hanging around to save the world or worship heroes. We are here to try to bolster our finances. If we can do it and follow a REALLY interesting story concerning advances in science and not make it off the back of persuading some poor sod to smoke more of the stuff that gives them cancer all the better. I have been interested in Graphene since I first heard of it years ago but apart from one failed entry into the market I had not found anything worth investing in until now. I hope this is the right medium but if it isn't I will move on. A story is not enough to keep you alive unless you are actually one of the movers like Neill who has far more insight than us and has a much better (if exhausting)and more interesting time than us who are sitting at home fretting about the share price

Crumbs! Just checked in here at the end of the day and thought we had something exciting to talk about...

Can't be doing with people who admit to being bored with their lives and are obviously just attention seekers...

Most of us are here to follow a company that is breaking new ground, has unbelievable governmental and academic support and is IMO going to be more successful than any of us could probably even hope.

Take a look at that long term graph in the header....

Those who are wetting their pants because we are down a penny or two need to get a brain implant...

Turning off for a day or two, I have better things to do with my time than waste an hour reading a load of nimby complaints!!!

Neill says we are concentrated upon gnp's and inks. Plenty of gravy in that. And the quality of vrs products are leading edge. The UoM and UoC spin outs have both benefited from vrs 'know how,' to arrive at +nanene and graphinks. Re 2D-tech, all in public domain, knowledge within vrs helped develop mechanical exfoliation method further, and eventually launching as +nanene. That specialist knowledge is very difficult to reproduce to my mind, which is why re that method, i can't see competitors ? 2D-tech were doing cvd graphene. Others may come into that field, i see one firm has. And i see names in collab to develop graphene methods - but as we know, very difficult. As neill said, it's 'game on'at geic. Hoping for good news very soon. Aimo. Dyor. Best ellis

Crikey F3rdinand, open your eyes and smell the coffee, not everyone has an agenda, either shorting or otherwise. Some people just are honest and express their thoughts. Certainly wish I didn't now. Will stick to only shares I am positive onTbf fair to Fest I believe he is being honest and he should be irrespective of the size of holding. Too much credit goes on ramping/deramping it has little or no effect overall IMO. If I had a big holding with belief in a company and intention to hold for the future potential, I would do exactly the same, show concern and want answers if nothing has come to fruition and the share price falls. Only traders or those that don't believe in the company as suggested would ramp a share in an attempt to sell out. Sometimes you have to take a step back, and ask where is the money/delivery, put your emotions aside and ask the question are the reason I invested still valid, if they are, then hold, but watching pounds drain away is hard, and as for the famous "it's only paper losses" maybe so, but not if you wrong about a share, those losses could increase and be realised beyond paper. I always try to think worst case scenario in my mind.

Anyway, didn't Neill Ricketts say recently that he knew exactly who buys, sells and holds what? I find that claim astonishing, and very very questionable in a legal sense.I think he might need to reword that assertion, along with some others he's made in the last 13 months. (Since the Jinan RNS)Or, if it's true, I give him express permission to publish on this bulletin board what I hold.

I agree evergreen, pressure to dilute standards to protect a vested interest, or even a countrys industry is likely to come into play. Re iso - scientifically, either a material under examination is 2D or 3D in it's nature and capable therefore of universal measurement by agreed methods. Regarding national graphene associations, of which the ngi/geic/npl axis is the de facto 'uk graphene association' different interpretations may transpire. Eg. 'Graphenes' is used to describe all the different graphene products on offer. And possibly the graphene council eventually too. Ie a bigger inclusive definition to keep 2D and 3D graphene producers in the same tent. As At this juncture, it's important to grow the 'graphenes' industry. I hope iso brings clarity to what companies produce. Aimo. Best ellis

But that's the point, and you are continually making it for me.Rather than looking at the issues I raise, you expect me to ramp this share. A liar or charlatan would do precisely that. That's a terrible response. Those who've known me a while on here know exactly what I hold, I've been very open about it.It doesn't matter whether I own 1 share, 1 million shares or 100 million shares.... the points I've raised are the same points. It should worry you that you have to resort to accusations and childishness rather than look at the issues!

It's very obvious another agenda is at play! If I had over a million pounds riding on a share I was so nervous about, I'd be ramping it to high heaven to protect my capital the best way I could while selling in as bigger blocks as the mm's would take! Talking down your investment is bordering on insanity...

Ok cards on table don't believe you have nearly a million shares ... your posts suggest otherwise. If I was in your shoeswith your stated beliefs ... which am not ... I would be behaving much differently. Not least I would not be saying much here and quietly selling so could move on. So suspect you just might have a wee agenda. Might not but in any case will but out now.

Bloody hell Jointer! Who needs Dean Haigh when you've just surpassed his obsession with me and gone back EIGHTEEN months to analyse my posts to try and trip me up!I have to say you need help Sir. I'm still proud of all those posts, today by the way.But more importantly, you FAIL to realise the irony. The company has moved on 18 months, but we are still harking back to some of the exciting promises which have yet to come to fruition. That's my point, and you've just proved it for me.What I have to say may be unpalatable to some, and you may ignore it. If you can't have a reasoned debate, you probably should.
