Re the ISO, from my personal experience the development and implementation of British and ISO standards has more Machiavellian influences than most would believe. The natural assumption that I suspect most people naively operate on is that the standards are defined with mathematical precision based upon scientifically established criteria in the interests of establishing levels of functional differentiation. The reality is that the standards are influenced by commercially driven pressure groups that seek to get as many horses over beavers brook as possible requiring fight back by the isolated Arkles and Red Rums in the race. I once found, when collaborating with the Building Research Establishment and the BSI that on the eve of a particular BS going to print that a national trade association had secured a changed to one clause in the Standard and altered a vital statistic that effectively diluted compliance to the lowest common denominator for low quality British materials suppliers that were the largest by number in the field. I would not be in the least surprised if The team at VRS are not engaged in a similar fight to raise the hurdle to the Olympian standards that only they can surmount. AECOM and the Chinese most probably have sufficient experience to set their own standards and MOATS. (Methods of Assessment and Testing) VRS have the quality we have to have the patience.

SuperG, I took some cash from my losing position here (about 25%), to chase Purple Bricks, who had a massive fall due to a bad review on BBC Watchdog.
I made a nice 14% in 2 days, and popped some money back in here... just in case.
The rest, into my beloved GVC

I sold 60k shares earlier, (roughly 25% of my holding), to pursue an immediate opportunity elsewhere.
But... the trade has not been posted, I hope they're not hiding things.. perhaps it went through on another exchange?

SuperG, I am one of the very lazy people of which you speak...and prefer instead to follow your research and then we embark on a symbiotic relationship.
That being, you buy a load of shares... then I buy a load of shares based on your research... thereby making YOUR shares rise in value!
I think that arrangement is more than fair, because if I started researching, it would mean thinking for myself (which my wife would not be happy about), and may lead to my brain exploding.

I never time it right to trade, so why try?
Especially on one of those rarest of shares, that’s going into orbit!

A bit of end of day profit taking going on.
I think that’s a bit short sighted. I’d never trade this, because the volume makes it obvious that there are some big accumulators in our midst. (Holdings rns I think, quite soon)
Don’t let them have your shares on the cheap.

Yes TFC, for the first time, I’ve traded VRS this week.
I have no other funds or holdings, so it’s the only way to increase my shareholding.
Just using 5% of my holding, sell if I see what I think is a spike here, and drop it into GVC if I think it’s a dip there.
Once the value has increased, bring it back here as I did today.
A bit of a wasted effort though, I only managed to add just over 300 shares after all expenses.

Meganxmas, you've just reminded me of something important!The change in language regarding the collaborations.At the AGM no collaborations had failed and a table clearly showed that some were close to ordering. That's many months ago, it must be said.But at the Investors Day, no collaborations had failed due to the quality of VRS product.What am I supposed to think now?Have some failed due to other reasons, such as unsuitable for end product, or price? If so, how many and why?The were fanfared via RNS when we began them, surely it should be announced in the same way if they are terminated?I'm desperately hoping I'm wrong about this, because there is a big fat dark grey swan right there!

What did you want me to do, stand up and do a presentation and say I have a really bad vibe people and think i smell BS. I reflected after looking back and it is just my perspective that it is not my duty to sway anyone else's decision at the end of the day what if what I felt is unfounded and completely wrong. There were far cleverer and more researched people than me in the room. No one else may have got the vibe or felt uneasy at some of things said/done. Did anyone else feel anything similar with regards to the NR/DK Q&A?I am sorry I seem to have worried people as that was not my intention and if anything it was more wanting to get the reassurance for a re-entry. You cannot tell everyone with genuine concerns they are a troll. I have made a reasonable sum from VRS and I want more.The t.shirt observation as expressed maybe stupid, but does that make me not an investor when the person fronting the business holding my money should be presenting himself more professionally at all times in an investor event. We are relying on NR securing large game changing commercial deals, and yes I don't want him rolling up in a guns n roses style t.shirt. JMHO

At times like this it's important to filter the background noise and focus on what's coming up in the near term! Firstly, ISO standards appear to be completed and will be released in the next few weeks; this should be very favourable for VRS! Secondly, we are due to hear more about the massive link up with Aecom (remember those arches) which should include detail and significant order(s)Thirdly, China is bubbling away nicely and more MOU's are possible very soon plus news of Jinan etc etc progressing!Add to all that the likelihood that more collaborations will be signed and decisions made on the previous ones! Oh and all that when the big sellers Miton et al are running on fumes!

If the repeated questioning of the VRS direction and strategy were unanswered in any way I would not be heavily invested here. But for me I am constantly reassured by Elliss and others research, and the insights from SuperG identifying funds stupidly selling out and driving the share price down, instead of holding on for a fortune makes this share one that Im happy to hold. So we havent had the pound notes RNS today, but like Woody says, we are one day closer. GLA
