No, because those details are placeholders and the page hasn't been finished yet.

Does though underline the need for VRS to get some serious orders, and soon. The pace is hotting up, and they need to capture and keep the high ground. Kinda hard, until significant orders and revenues arrive...

Sandbag,The Latin type text is used by programmers as a temporary fill in until the actual text is available. This is standard practice and used to fill up white space and the text itself is meaningless Baz

'GE Aviation Joins Wing of Tomorrow Programme Innovative approach to the design and high rate manufacture of wing trailing edge.'

July 18, 2018

"Farnborough UK – 18 July 2018 - GE Aviation, through its Hamble aerostructures business, in partnership with Airbus U.K., GKN and Spirit Aerosystems, is proud to support the development of a next-generation, high rate-manufacture wing on the Wing of Tomorrow programme.

"The Airbus U.K.-led consortium has been set up with support from the UK Aerospace Research & Technology Programme – delivered in partnership by the Aerospace Technology Institute, the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy and Innovate UK – to develop three wing demonstrators by end of Q1 2021 in order to progress high rate manufacturing and increase the use of composite materials in aviation....."

And talking of composite parts

Hand over of First Composite Sandwich Ramp Assembly of Boeing Chinook CH-47F Helicopter by TATA Advanced Materials Limited to Dynamatic

The Composite Sandwich Ramp Assembly is sourced from TATA Advanced Materials Limited - a subsidary of TATA group

And as we know The Tata group comprises over a 100 operating companies spread across six continents, including TATA motors
- which leads to Jaguar Land Rover,
- which leads to Coventry,
- which leads to Warwickshire Manufacturing Group,
- which leads to Versarien etc

Fingers, Pies, Interesting times indeed...

Nice finds bootie. Of course, re twitter post of uk gov graphene delegation visiting Dynamatic - the picture shows them gathered around the part they supply to airbus (Steve hodge is looking down at it). Ask this yourself this question ? Is the graphene delegation visiting Dynamatic, because there may be a future demand for graphene composite parts? Ie if airbus et al are considering graphene composite conventional/electric aircraft in future manufacturing, then it makes the graphene delegation visit to Dynamatic relevant ? Else why go there ? By considering the cog you see the wheel ? One to ponder. Aimo. Best ellis

RNS from 31 October 2017
Collaboration with Israel Aerospace Industries

Versarien plc (AIM: VRS), the advanced materials engineering group, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a collaboration with Israel Aerospace Industries ("IAI") to enable both groups to work together to develop and test Versarien's proprietary Nanene few layer graphene nano-platelets in aerospace composite structures.

IAI is a world leader in both the defence and commercial markets, delivering state-of-the-art technologies and systems in the domains of: air, space, land, sea, cyber, homeland security and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.

IAI has agreed to purchase Nanene from Versarien, in a variety of forms, which will then be incorporated into composite panels for testing and evaluation, with a view to developing commercial applications for the technology. The collaboration is additionally expected to incorporate discussions and work with IAI's supply chain.

Agreed. I think we all know what's more likely. On a completely different subject. I don't think I've seen much about graphene in container shipping but I might well have missed it. Wouldn't that be another logical market with huge potential and high pressure due to the high pollution caused by container ships. Thinking about containers and container ships regarding weight and also switching to electric vessels -> batteries. https://inews.co.uk/news/long-reads/cargo-container-shipping-carbon-pollution/

Someone mentioned recently that DEKA were up to 2.5% shareholding in VRS.

DEKA are a diverse financial services firm and they could be holding the shares as a custodian for one, several shareholders, in one of their own funds or all three.

If probably isn’t a coincidence that DEKA’s increased stake coincided with the Berenberg arrival as a MM - keep it in the German family!

It’s also not uncommon to see a MM with a buy order on the offer holding a price down or on the bid with a sell order holding the price up to try and execute the order at the desired price.

Whoever the DEKA buyer is, 2.5% is a decent vote of confidence.

AIMHO etc.
