My experience with Allenby Patners brokers to FRG is that they would never have raised big capital for them unless serious verification had been produced.

WG is a very convincing speaker but you have to remember he has been doing this for many many years. In fact he sold his last business to Cannacord the Canadian brokers so why did he not go back to them?

This is the last I shall ever bother to post on FGR....let them get on with what they feel is best for them BUT I do no that they will not be the world leaders.

Lets see what happens in 2019 as the race is on...........

Some updates on graphene sale price points.

Graphene Sale Prices

First Graphene (ASX:FGR) Market cap ~£25m
Product: PureGRAPH FLG product <10 layers
AVE PRICE: $125/KG
8th May 2017
“While there is no firm terminal market for graphene products, and market information is at best opaque, speciality marketers have advised the Company the market price for graphene out of China, destined for the battery market, sells at a price of US$100-150/kg (US$100,000-150,000 per tonne).”

First Graphene have also said that each bucket liner in their maiden application has around AUD$500 of grahene in it. They also say there is about 2kg so that's a price of around USD$142/kg.

TALGA (ASX:TLG) Market Cap ~£56M
Product: “vFLG Ultrafine” 1-5 layers Graphene price assumption (USD$/t) 55,000
AVE PRICE: $55/KG

It is possible to infer a cap on the price via a link that was tweeted by CEO Neill Ricketts which links to a page here

On this Cambridge Uni page they say

Silver-based inks cost £1000 or more per kilogram, whereas this new graphene ink formulation would be 25 times cheaper.

That puts the ink price at around £40/kg. We know that inks are around about 10% graphene content by weight


"The inks produced by the microfluidisation process have high concentrations of up to 100 g of graphene flakes per litre. "


So this puts a cap on the price of graphene/nanene at £400/kg if used for this application and that gives no margin for the cost and manufacture of the non-graphene part to the ink, IP etc. etc.

I've just ent VRS a message re their GEIC attendance.

FGR had Best graphene company in the world on their posters so VRS should put up Best graphene company in the universe. lmao.

Embarrassing and it makes me cringe listening to Warwick and seeing those posters, clearly directed at PIs as big names will not fall for such BS and just face palm when they see it.

That's one leopard that can't seem to change his spots.

A minor point; NR some time ago confirmed that although the salary for PJ and MW will formally show as being paid by HMG, Versarien will be repaying HMG. Although this repayment might be occurring month by month, I am presuming that it might not be, and that it will be repaid either at Year End (31 March) or at the end of the current Tax Year (ie, just after the company's Year End - in which case not showing in accounts till e/o September 2019).

Or did it feature in the recent half-year account and I missed it?

I have absolutely no doubt that those year-end figures at 31 March will be good, and will include strong news from late-January, and February.
By the time they are published (say early July), I expect several other strong pieces of news to have emerged. So yes - anyone still short is going to get slaughtered in the coming weeks and months.
