11/12/2018 09:36 | Not much evidence of shorts joules. Still getting over 130 to sell so buys and sells fairly evenly divided. | ![]() pshevlin
11/12/2018 09:35 | I'm not convinced they all closed, some of them are far more heavily underwater at 60-80p. | ![]() tini5
11/12/2018 09:30 | And here come the knockers, couple of minutes after the share price goes ove 130p and then drops 1.5p sharply as, presumably, they reopen their short. Rinse and repeat. One day they'll be caught with their pants down and lose the lot. | ![]() runthejoules
11/12/2018 09:30 | grabster, Pure speculation as far as I know. There has been a big buyer around in last couple of weeks but could be from a multitude of directions. The bigger players prefer not to be declared via an RNS so tend to distribute shares amongst several funds meaning they only need to make a disclosure once they get to 10%. DYOR etc. | ![]() chillpill
11/12/2018 09:27 | I know, I know facts spoil a good story. Funny how the order which isn't an order at all covers the bit they didn't get in funding form guys just over 200m from their office. Biggest single order in the world except XG shipped over 14 tonnes in just Q3 to Callaway. Cheapest graphene in the world except XG's is materially cheaper. | ![]() superg1
11/12/2018 09:27 | @spid81 Neill also said that Grahphene has no mass. Oh dear! | ![]() loglorry1
11/12/2018 09:24 | Actually he's a stand up guy who most people have a lot of respect for, especially those who have met him in person. | ![]() tini5
11/12/2018 09:22 | Yes Tini SG1 will upset me, this guy is a idiot. I find it funny that SG1 is willing to have a go about WG comment about the thermal conductivity, but he wasn't willing to have a go about Neill with the density of nanene, 186kg per m3 is a significant difference to 38,000 barrels as your leader has claimed. Massive difference there, SG1, if you read the announcement about the CR, majority of the capital raising was taken up by institutional investors and existing shareholders, I suspect that Twynam Agriculture (41st richest man in Australia)has added enough shares to become a substantial shareholder (ASX needs 5% shareholding) we will find out in the next week. FGR also disclosed that AIM listing is expected to happen in 2019, It normally takes 3-6 months to list. | spid81
11/12/2018 09:21 | Despite all the huff and puff and pictures of GEIC I see nothing much in the way of sales. VRS still supplying test samples around the 1-2Kg mark. The update on collaborations was barely and update and gave no results that I could see. By results I mean numbers which were validated by customers. Just more of the same "they are testing" news. Other companies are giving much more detail on collaboration updates e.g. FGR, Talga. No disclosure of price on Nanene (make of that what you will). I've no doubt the promotion will continue but where are the sales to back it up? | ![]() loglorry1
11/12/2018 09:14 | Does the Mubadala Investment Group directly or indirectly hold shares in Versarien? My understanding is that they do, though I have so far not found any confirmation | ![]() grabster
11/12/2018 09:08 | "Shorts still burn in winter" The Feast of Juul is coming up at the solstice and I'll make sure I chuck some old shorts on our celebratory fire as an offering to welcome back the light..(and banish the dark forces) | ![]() pshevlin

11/12/2018 09:01 | That Warwick interview the guy is such a clot. Graphene is not the most thermally conductive material, I believe that prize goes to h-BN. The order they got isn't the largest either not by a long way if some say XG and others are supplying graphene. BTW I heard they were in the market for $2 mill at 15 cents and ended up with $1.5 mill. The original plan was $6-$8 mill via the AIM. So they couldn't muster enough interest up to cover the $2 mill, even though they claim to be the world leading graphene company and display that wherever they go (embarrassing if they think industrial majors will fall for that) Did we not say they would struggle to raise the money as Warwick and co are well known for BS. That will just about cover their salaries. | ![]() superg1
11/12/2018 08:59 | Chill, per poddy yesterday, i thought that iso was 'travel related.' Anyone else confirm pls ? Best ellis | ellissj
11/12/2018 08:57 | Does anyone know how long the AECOM ISO approval is expected to take? I am thinking May/June time and full commercial adoption on the major infrastructure project shortly thereafter...other thoughts? | ![]() chillpill

11/12/2018 08:51 | Indeed superg: 'The naysayers did their best to try to trash VRS and short it in the run up to the interims and they hit good news and good interims.'.....and VRS' excellent future global prospects :) | ![]() ad63
11/12/2018 08:45 | Worth a separate post. Interims out of the way and `January is coming :-) Comments about January in news. If all goes well the J curve for VRS is due to kick in in the coming months. | ![]() superg1
11/12/2018 08:43 | The SP Last month one supply finished, and it had been having an impact. We also know the Miton trust fund had been active and down to 840k. Sell activity outside of PI action amounted to around 1.1 mill which helped the movement with the range aided by the naysayers and traders going short ay appropriate times. There seems to be selling this month which could have been that Miton trust fund we won't know for a month or so. The naysayers did their best to try to trash VRS and short it in the run up to the interims and they hit good news and good interims. | ![]() superg1
11/12/2018 08:40 | Do wonder if 2019 will witness the issue of VRS ADRs to lubricate our USA expansion in conjunction with raising our US profile?....we will see | ![]() ad63
11/12/2018 08:30 | At least some normality returning in the share price movement here in a doomed market. | ![]() snoopy12
11/12/2018 08:24 | Going.. going... gone?! From a technical perspective, this break will see floods of traders jump in probably as the setup is pretty fantastic for them. Even better for us LTHs given it's backed by fantastic news. | ![]() a_game
11/12/2018 08:23 | Did i read somewhere it's 'industrial partners day' at geic today ? If so, interesting who might turn up ? Glalth. Best ellis | ellissj |
