10/12/2018 21:21 | The Dow finished Blue, there's no contentious Brexit vote in Parliament, so we might have a decent day tomorrow, interesting at least. | ![]() festario
10/12/2018 21:10 | The lowest cost electricity is now generated by solar panels. What could be better than a graphene enhanced solar panel connected to a graphene enhanced underfloor heating system via a graphene enhanced battery/supercapacit | ![]() johnveals
10/12/2018 20:59 | Impressive display on vrs geic stand. One on left has some great quotes. Links to government.First company to use the ODI scheme. Govt strategists seconded. Plus support from catapaults. Vrs has staffed offices with graphene centres of excellencs in universities of manchester, cambridge and belfast. Game on indeed ! Aimo. Best ellis | ellissj
10/12/2018 20:46 | And don’t forget that one like many others are companies we have been through before but if you want a laugh to understand what frauds some are then have a read of the big claim. The data sheet still shows over 10 layer content of 40% plus. They claim the next best of 20 examined only had 25% graphene content. Among all the global graphene producers tested, Elcora graphene was found to have 55% of graphene content (the highest measured), flakes averaged 3 layers (90% of the sample with less than 30 layers), flake sizes are consistent with an average of 1 micrometer (90% of the sample with less than 3 micrometers), high structural quality, and more than 93% in carbon content. In comparison, the second best producer was found to have only 25% graphene content with larger number of layers and smaller carbon content. CA2DM is planning to publish the results of their detailed studies in the near future. | ![]() superg1
10/12/2018 20:28 | Elcora Been there done that and they make some odd cringeworthy claims. Another graphite miner turned bestest graphene in the world when their Sri Lanka graphite idea hasn’t worked. A quick one to show how odd they are. • Average of 2-4 layers (1-5nm) If you know your graphene by now 2-4 layers = 0.68-1.36nm but they have put 1-5nm which is 3-15 layers. So that comment is fiction, it can’t be both. Then add in • 55% graphene by area ???. I take that to mean 55% is 1-5nm with the rest is graphite. | ![]() superg1

10/12/2018 19:33 | Looking at his/her posting history I filtered them. A weird agenda. Nothing like VRS 😂 Edit: happy to be proved wrong | ![]() diversification
10/12/2018 19:27 | re Elcora.....not sure about 'soaring' or 'very similar' to VRS. | ![]() axotyl
10/12/2018 19:04 | Does anyone have an opinion on Elcora? (It's a Canadian company which is very similar to Versarien.) Over the last few years it's gone nowhere, but the share price has soared in the last two days and I can't find out why. | iambix
10/12/2018 18:15 | Indeed superg, more exciting than my link imo. Of course, electric heating is relatively expensive to other methods last time i looked. Hopeful that graphinks could possibly provide an efficiency gain versus conventional and also make electric heating competitive in terms of efficiency and price. Ie requires less electricity to provide the same heat as current tech does. Atb. Ellis | ellissj
10/12/2018 18:02 | Just checked. Not that Ellis, hot water system mentioned there. Just a polymer sheet as of painted black which is the ink. Power in and out at opposite end to heat it. I had wondered about the spread of heat but of course electricity takes the route of least resistance | ![]() superg1
10/12/2018 18:01 | With the Dow well off it’s lows it sets us up nicely for an assault on 130p tomorrow. Tomorrow is the day imo. Edit: A decent RNS tomorrow would give us a decent kick start. | ![]() diversification
10/12/2018 17:59 | Agreed, sounds very impressive, and simple design probably makes it competitive in terms of manufacture and installation versus conventional i imagine. Plus no boiler reqd ! #futurecities ? Sounds like all part of a plan ! Aimo. Best ellis. | ellissj
10/12/2018 17:53 | Well it was there with VRS Just printed on a polymer sheet of some type can be heated up to 60C Fairly simple looking underfloor and wall heating systems. A hell of a lot more simple looking than other such electric underfloor heating I know of. | ![]() superg1
10/12/2018 17:37 | Nice 1 superg. I posted a link on graphene enhanced elements for domestic heating systems. Is that in the right ballpark if you can say ? Best ellis | ellissj

10/12/2018 17:25 | Geic interesting and some VRS bits I’d not considered fully like graphene ink heating systems and so on. I think it was Pc that mentioned graphene enhanced clothing and the washing cycle. No real problem with that anymore | ![]() superg1

10/12/2018 16:50 | Says autoclave on nameplate ? One like this for ngi ? Best ellis "In recent days, Olmar has confirmed the closure of an agreement with the University of Manchester (UK) for the manufacture of a new autoclave for the treatment of composite materials (composites). This autoclave will be one of the most important equipment of the National Institute of Graphene, dedicated to the research and development of this new and revolutionary material. Its hardness, resistance, lightness and high conductivity make the experts consider it the “material of the future”, called to transform all kind of sectors thanks to its numerous possibilities of application for electronics, computing or mobile technology. With this new equipment, Olmar continues improving its position as autoclave supplier in the UK, one of the most advanced and competitive markets in the world." | ellissj
