15/11/2018 13:39 | Every PI can see one or two shorters in agony from torture. This is only the start. There are 27 prototypes on trial with orders queuing (as no one failed) that can drop on the head of many. Then, once orders start to flow in, it will be fairly easy for analysts to estimate sales and profit that will re-value the share price Example: Just one ton nanene sold = 1 million grams priced say at just £20/g = £20 million sale. This is without the ink & 3D et al... I wonder how one can quantifies the growth ? | ![]() fuji99

15/11/2018 13:36 | It's an RNS Reach. The NOMAD would only let them release it as non-material news. 1Kg is lab scale. At XGS prices that's $80 worth. Maybe more at such small scale. The RNS Reach doesn't say they have approval to use it they say the parts it's for have so it sounds like it's another test batch. Big Yawn. | ![]() loglorry1
15/11/2018 13:35 | Fireball it's a good point. It changes conversations in meetings with others. Ah yeh but with aircraft interiors and all the safety around that it would take ages to sort. VRS. "Nope been there done that and here is the certificate" I imagine it saves weight. | ![]() superg1
15/11/2018 13:34 | This is just the start of things to come folks !! | ![]() dickiebird2

15/11/2018 13:33 | This opens up that value chain again. Excellent news, certified as well. So safety, weight and space, all come at a premium in the industry. World and oysters, if your partial I’d order a few more. | ![]() fireball xl5

15/11/2018 13:31 | Amazing stuff. I doubt anyone was thinking aircraft interiors now. It just shows what is going on in the background re VRS that we don't know about. However Intraday RNS, odd buying yesterday afternoon and games this morning with buy orders. How long have Arden had that RNS? Looks like it was tree shake this morning Fest. | ![]() superg1
15/11/2018 13:30 | Also saw my BB post from then while scanning past aviation talk. Neill tweeted thermal management solution for mobiles ! Aimo. 15/11/2018 13:28 | Brilliant news. Not only could this apply to all new aircraft but also as a retrofit to existing as well! | ![]() baz99
15/11/2018 13:27 | Amazing RNS. Let the floodgates open. As Neill said collaboration leads to orders. This order will set a precedent in the aviation industry and graphene will become the norm in aircraft. I'm not saying that VRS will get all orders in the world, but nanene is the best and their are many thousands of planes out there. I see the other collaborations coming to fruition. Well done VRS. | vrs1
15/11/2018 13:26 | Paint - An Airbus A380 can require up to 3600 litres. In the two weeks it takes to paint an A380, painters will cover over 3100 square meters of aircraft surface with paint, but each layer only be .12 millimeters thick. Even so, all that paint adds between 600-1000 kilograms to the weight of the aircraft. | ![]() serratia
15/11/2018 13:26 | Fantastic news from Neill and the team. This is the first of many, not large in itself but certified by the US authorities has to be good news. Onwards and upwards folks. | ![]() rogerbridge
15/11/2018 13:23 | would you believe about an hour ago I was looking at this. "Versarien’s Dr. Andrew Deakin gave some fascinating examples, suggesting that dosing 10 percent of the CFRP used in aircraft production with just one percent graphene would more than pay for itself in fuel economy savings. The associated emissions reduction “would be free.” Deakin said that graphene manufacturing capacity has increased one thousand times in two years. His company is currently manufacturing up to 1 kg / day and expects it will be able to meet growing demand while continuing to reduce the cost of the material in several different forms. | ![]() jointer13

15/11/2018 13:17 | I have some filtered but one popped up in the header box area that gave me some companies to compare. First up Talga - Sales £5k, doesn't seem anyone wants there material at any price. Loss £5.6m, CEO salary last year £450k. A quick look and no obvious data sheets. A statement that their Graphene increases the compression strength of concrete 14%. The earlier paper discussed showed 248% increase in strength using FLG. Their result implies the quality is missing somewhere. Conclusion - No sales, high salaries, sub optimum product = no competition. Expect Nanene to command a high premium to their material. | ![]() serratia |
