Matt has been in Daegu today. Here's what wiki says about the place:

Daegu is a manufacturing industry city. The major industries are textiles, metals and machinery. In the year 2010, Daegu had a regional GDP of $45,387 million with 7.2% real GDP growth rate. The GDP per capita though is well below Korea national average. Many companies such as Daegu Bank, Korea Delphi, Hwasung corp., and TaeguTec are situated in this city, and Samsung and Kolon were founded here. Numerous factories are located in the industrial complexes situated in the west and north sides of the city including the Seongseo Industrial Complex, West Daegu Industrial Complex and the Daegu Dyeing Industrial Complex.

The city is the economic and industrial core of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region, one of the major industrial areas in Korea. Some odd action this afternoon and it continued into the auction with singer ending up on the bid at 115p on close.

70k came onto the auction on the bid at 117p 2 DMA bids of 15k and 25k ended up at the 40k uncrossing trade.

Shorecap moved off 115p the offer onto 110p on the bid having previously been at something like 104p on the bid.

Hey ho we'll see how it all goes tomorrow.

I managed to buy two lots of 2675 for my kids accounts first thing this morning. Unlike a few others I am prepared to trust in the research and body deliver over the next few years so that my kids can benefit.I can only imagine that most of us lth reading this board are here because we also believe that quality will out over the longer term. So no stress here happy to be patient!!
