13/11/2018 14:06 | I can sell up to 100k shares again, it's rare that they'll take so many. Im still expecting a bounce, based on that alone. | festario
13/11/2018 14:05 | vrs1 - I just spent an idle moment wondering where we could be this time next year IF what we think will happen actually happens. We could have multiple orders under our belt by then (for nanene and/or graphinks), production (either directly by VRS or via a licensing/franchise deal) in China, Israel, Korea, America, Europe - and who knows maybe Japan and Indonesia (or was it Malaysia?), ISO certification, more 2D materials on the market. All of that sounds like hundreds and hundreds - maybe thousands and thousands - of Tonnes to me... God alone knows what the MC/sp would be if that were to happen - but that is of course why I'm still here: and I freely confess I *am* very *very* impatient for it to come to pass. [edit] but if, by say the middle of next year, NONE of that has happened, nor looks likely to, I'll be gone: because if it hasn't happened by then I don't think it will, as it would demonstrate that there is a fundamental issue somewhere with VRS's business or pricing models. | club sandwich
13/11/2018 14:01 | Like someone said he is hanging around for the interims, personally the interims have no bearing on the future of the company, couldn't ask for a harder working team and they certainly have an impact on the future with their work ethic. Every day that passes the better the chance of a game changer. | luckyorange

13/11/2018 13:58 | Good afternoon. I have a certain gentleman filtered so I no longer have to read the drivel that I truly feel he no longer believes himself. One of the many things I recall him referring to repetetively was something he's named "The Twitter multiple", if I remember correctly. I'm not a fluent user of social media so Im hoping for some input from the more experienced among us. This Twitter, it must be an amazing business tool to grow a business by the multiples he suggests? Surely if this is the case every business would be striving to use it to their financial advantage given the expenditure they must allot to other forms of promoting and progressing their companies? Can anyone inform me if any one of the many collaborations, LOI, MOU etc can be attributed even in part to the use of this media? A bit of research looking back over the last few months worth of Twitter correspondence shows about half of it is in response to Dim Tim's messages. He is under some illusion that Versariens Market cap is influenced by the frequency of use of this media. I have no wish to undermine the gentleman's business acumen by pointing out what appears blindingly obvious. Thanks in advance for any replies. | billwave
13/11/2018 13:58 | Lovat "I take comfort from the healthy state of the balance sheet"...Exactly, the only reason to panic in this sort of market is if you need to raise funds. One of the great things about the Chinese collaborations is that there will be no need for fundraising by the sounds of it. "Tunghsu will provide financial support as well as strategic support " And on the Jinan LOI "Versarien will provide its intellectual property (IP) on a licensed basis together with production know how, whilst the other joint venture partners will provide the factory and funding for plant and equipment." Neill has always made it clear that as the largest shareholder, his interests are totally aligned with ours, ie keep dilution to an absolute minimum. I think he aims to roll the company out with similar deals to the Chinese ones which will be fantastic for us lths if he can. I only see him raising any funds if he sees another opportunity not to be missed like 2DTech and the Gnanomat deal, which he obviously thinks will add the same value. | woodpeckers

13/11/2018 13:36 | What I think I know about AECOM is ... They embrace new technology , particularly the type that bring in timesavers and reduce the amount of raw materials required without compromising quality , strength or structure. They like VRS, VRS like them. They are no a lumbering giant. They look for disruptive technology. They move quickly, so expect something near term. | luckyorange
13/11/2018 13:35 | Hope that's right superg1. Something that I believe Neil alludes to as well (the next level)and it is the logical step given what we all feel should be happening, given the development of the Company. Hence, I am adding at these levels, not too bothered whether it is 112p, 120p, or whatever. Good luck all. | scottishfield
13/11/2018 13:30 | Lovat The market is one thing but the actual business is another. Many are skittish and will have sold their portfolios. For VRS I believe they will very shortly enter a level on the type of news they release. There were some clear changes in recent news like Axia, Aecom and the last news. Whether folk prefer to sit on the fence due to the market and act after such news is up to them. I fully understand that approach. I have taken that approach on various shares over the years. | superg1
13/11/2018 13:26 | What I think I know about the machines is ... The patent on the machine is no longer valid and they can source them elsewhere if required. Nearly 3 tonnes is based on 1 shift. The manufacturer let VRS have use of one of their factory machines previously when they needed to up production. Up to 3 tonnes is the minimum amount that can be produced on a normal shift system and they have plenty of alternatives to ramp up production. | luckyorange
13/11/2018 13:18 | this is a blip, nothing more. | adejuk
13/11/2018 13:18 | SP weakness is not VRS specific. Markets are extremely skittish over several macro issues and new economy shares are particularly under pressure across the board globally. Whilst I will always listen to opposing views I do find it ridiculous that critics keep harping on about the same old(mostly contentious and not definitively resolvable) issues and decrying CEOs for not replying in detail to individuals’ questions and allegations in the run up to the interim results. In any case, why engage at any time and risk disclosing information to the competition?? VRS is what it is and will take time to deliver the orders everyone craves or not. Shareholders will have to put up with volatile markets in the meantime but I take comfort from the healthy state of the balance sheet as well as the positive news flow. Whatever anyone says on here about one company being too cheap or expensive, just ascribe a value to solvency as well as IP before praising or mud slinging. Good luck to FGR if they are going to try and raise funds at a good price in this environment. The sector could do with more nanomaterial companies to fill the orders across the entire quality spectrum, as this is going to be a very large sector one day. AIMHO etc. | lovat scout
