13/11/2018 11:27 | Re the machines - Neill has stated a few times that they are actually quite simple machines with a few tweeks so really no problem upscaling. As for operators, again, he has said that it is a very simple task to operate them so not a lot of training needed. I think we can stop worrying about scale-up. The board are obviously confident that they have it in hand. I can't see them having got this far without thinking that side of the strategy through very carefully. | woodpeckers
13/11/2018 11:25 | For all those who have still not filtered Log, please feel free to join me in a game of Loggy Bingo Lingo. You can give yourself 10 points every time you spot him using some of the following phrases (fee free to add more). "Twitter Premium" (he's really proud of this one as he made it up all by himself - clever chap), "lateral sizes", "9x market cap compared to peer group", "can anyone tell me...". I'm on a score of 1,870 already after just 1 week, mostly from "Twitter Premium" (did I mention how proud he is that he made this one up by himself?) | schmally
13/11/2018 11:24 | @vrs1 since you asked it deserves an answer. Arrow Greentech have been quoted by VRS as their way into India as a partner to get into the tire market. When it was pointed out to NR that the prices for Graphene were well below what people on this board expect and in the range of $100/kg he dismissed it glibly. A director of Arrow Greentech came to his defence to give authority to his dismissal. However we can see that Arrow are an absolute minnow who are struggling like mad. They are held up by NR as a poster boy progressive company in India but really they are doing extremely badly. There is no evidence to suggest they have any influence in the tyre market in India. If anything they are looking to associate themselves with VRS for some cheap PR. That's all. Talking of doing extremely badly Haydale look to be completely stuffed. Why does everyone here shout about how great the GEIC is and how being a tier one partner is worth a fortune. Haydale are in the same position with their relationships with Uni of Manchester etc. but they've failed miserably to sell any of their products. | loglorry1
13/11/2018 11:21 | 2D +nanene in concrete for thermally efficient eco solutions in future building design, a good sell i imagine. Esp in poorer hotter regions of the world. Aimo. 13/11/2018 11:11 | Tim Kempster has posted the share price chart of Arrow greentech on Twitter emphasising the share price drop. What a kn*b. Why not put up share price chart for aecom, continental tyres or Unilever? Why not you manipulative dope? | vrs1
13/11/2018 11:02 | @billwave well all I can say is that my grasp of numbers has resulted in it being obvious to me that the share price has returned to where it was before the China deal and Tunghshu deal was announced. The market wants to see orders. Not just silly orders like 1kg for graphene headphones but real orders worth £1m+ to justify the market cap which even at 113p has been run up to very high levels. | loglorry1

13/11/2018 10:58 | "I expect Neill could have them made elsewhere or, being a resourceful and inventive engineer, make them himself" not if the threshing machine company has a patent, he couldn't. "Are they the most critical part of the manufacturing process?" I really have no idea. | club sandwich

13/11/2018 10:57 | Club, I don't see the machines as being an issue. Are they the most critical part of the manufacturing process? I expect Neill could have them made elsewhere or, being a resourceful and inventive engineer, make them himself. More of an issue might be finding the right people to operate them, assuming there will be lots of machines. | mikkydhu

13/11/2018 10:46 | @ flatcoat1 Numbers he may be able to calculate....price he went short x how much. Too big a number for him to deal with there which is why he's always here. | billwave
13/11/2018 10:43 | rid - I was thinking more of the bottleneck at the threshing machine company. whether it's VRS manufacturing, or a franchisee, or some licensing deal, it seems like those machines are needed to produce nanene? I know that VRS are talking about (but AFAIAA has not yet signed off on) a 2-year exclusivity, and there has been talk of a production line to produce the machines, but if all goes to plan then a *lot* of machines are going to be needed... | club sandwich

13/11/2018 10:41 | Future cities anyone ? Of course with +nanene in the mix, you have added strength, excellent insulation properties and waterproofing ? Aimo. Amy Frearson |  Eindhoven University of Technology has announced plans to 3D print a series of concrete houses that will be made available to rent." | ellissj
13/11/2018 10:39 | Club. I agree with the scale up challenges. That is why Neill said in a recent poddie that VRS would use a variety of models from licencing to franchises,as well as full partnering. A nice challenge to have indeed. | ridicule

13/11/2018 10:34 | Plenty of 3D printed concrete projects going on it seems. Best ellis "US military 3D prints concrete barracks on site." Rima Sabina Aouf 5 September 2018 Leave a comment In a world first, the US Armed Forces has 3D printed a barracks out of concrete on site at an army base, in less than two days. The Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) constructed the 46-square-metre building in 40 hours at the US Army Engineer Research and Development Center in Champaign, Illinois. "This is the first-in-the-world on-site continuous concrete print," said Captain Matthew Friedell, a project officer from the MCSC additive manufacturing team. "People have printed buildings and large structures, but they haven't done it on-site and all at once." | ellissj

13/11/2018 10:09 | Tini. Tim can't understand basic maths and still doesn't understand how to calculate market cap. No way could he write pi to 1 decimal place unless he copies and paste it from someone else. Doesn't know how to keep promises either. | flatcoat1 |
