13/11/2018 00:40 | Superg the Aecom info was included in this article along with other 3D printing projects. Are there any known links with Caterpillar or any of the others mentioned. | 20pc
12/11/2018 23:44 | A bit more. The firm is working with a transport authority on its underground lines. For the project, Aecom is working in glass fibre-reinforced plastic. Using this lightweight material, the signalling structure can be carried into position by just two people at ground level, with installation completed in one shift. Compare this to the current signalling installation, which requires more manpower, four shifts and the assistance of a scissor lift, and it’s clear why the authority in question is so excited about the Aecom concept. In terms of reduced cost of production and installation, time savings and enhanced safety, it looks like a clear win for 3D printing. | superg1
12/11/2018 23:33 | Definitely a bingo moment for me. Note Skylite’s post recently. 3D printer large scale, graphene used for some materials and currently testing glass fibre. The arches are glass fibre. Now to find the actual project. | superg1
12/11/2018 23:32 | Hi Super. I have never been near PRG. In fact the only Graphene based company I have ever invested in is VRS, where I still have a 7 figure holding and am feeling relaxed about. | ridicule
12/11/2018 23:24 | Now all is becoming clearer, all names we know and all working together on one project and VRS fund a student there.... and it works! | luckyorange
12/11/2018 23:08 | Nice research folks. I much prefer this superg1 to Revenge seeking/Venom superg1 and DIYOR superg1 ;-) Ps rip Stan Lee... same age as my granddad xxx | runthejoules
12/11/2018 23:03 | Like incest , great find superg 'Scaled are leading a government funded project overseen by Innovate UK with the code-name RHIFALS - Reduced Human Interaction For Additive manufacturing and Large Scale. The project aims to improve right-first-time printing and increase printing efficiency by making use of advanced sensor information and robot control automation. Scaled's partners on the project are the University of Warwick, Loop Technology and McLaren Automotive.' | luckyorange
12/11/2018 22:44 | Fair enough Owenga, I retract that then. I didn't spot the link, I was just watching for direct news announcements, which IQE left until 16.23pm! | festario
12/11/2018 22:39 | I see they are testing 20 different types of materials using that 3D printer. Nanene enhances just about everything so the mind boggles re Aecom. | superg1
12/11/2018 22:36 | FestIQE was down 15% because lumentum came out with atrading bombshell re sales order cancelled by Apple. This directly affected IQE being one of our main customers, and this lead to IQE bringing out its own announcement. Nothing inside there. | owenga
12/11/2018 22:27 | Fest you do know your coming across as being arrogant I don’t think it’s very nice, your right I am an optimistic person or at least I try to be, if something doesn’t work out I man up and take it on the chin and move on as I think it was not meant to be. I have researched as much as I feel is necessary into the company to have my own opinion and have put my money where my mouth is, each to their own I understand you have made a lot of money out of VRS and want to protect your profits which is your business | haz101
12/11/2018 22:20 | And the news at the time. Versarien PLC on Friday said it signed a deal with infrastructure firm AECOM to work on a construction materials project. The engineering company said the project involves the incorporation of its Nanene few layer graphene nano-platelets into large-scale polymer structures, with a view to increasing their strength. Looks to me like it’s something to do with the 3D printing, something big. | superg1
12/11/2018 22:19 | It was me, mentioning the insider trading comment.I have IQE on my monitor, and I was fascinated how many solid stocks were well down today. GVC being one of them and Sport Direct too. Then I noticed IQE 15% down without any news whatsoever. The fall never looked like bouncing back. Then, with only 7 minutes to go in trading, IQE drop a bad news RNS.I've never been in there, but it stinks to high heaven, and I'm gutted for those who are . | festario
12/11/2018 22:17 | Ha Bingo. Htf I missed ot before I don’t know. Literally just chilling after a hard day of DIY and dropped on this. Not sure if it’s been posted before | superg1
12/11/2018 22:01 | I saw the Iqe drop today and wondered what was going on. Noted some insider selling comments on here and see they had an rns, hmmmm. Not for me Iqe too binary and I know a few on here had some then didn’t. I believe that odd fella NY boy kept pumping that one. | superg1
12/11/2018 21:44 | I’ve no idea what the market will do but selling some VRS now is completely nuts in my research world. I couldn’t give a stuff how much bears make or don’t make but a part of me wants them to hang around for now. 😊 Each to their own. | superg1
12/11/2018 21:43 | Tim: 'There ain't no bear market like the Irish bonds bear market' Yes, we know Tim, we know how much you lost, it's all over The Times. Move on! In other news - tick tock.. ;) | a_game
12/11/2018 21:42 | One good thing is when fest moaned at 56p level, it moved quickly upwards. May be it is the sign of a higher move. BTW, those with less than a quid average won't be selling at these levels after keeping and adding up to the total for almost a year. I first bought on 6Nov2017 and more than a year. Why do i sell? If i have to, i am better off trading than investing. | ashehzi
12/11/2018 21:39 | Especially the stocks without strong fundamentals it seems | 1teepee
12/11/2018 21:35 | Because the DOW is now at 26000 and not 14000, a 600 point fall should be considered from a percentage perspective to put it into context. This is why you see little movement on the European futures as the fall in America is relative to Europe on a percentage basis. What is clear is that many stocks got ahead of themselves, and for those stocks that don’t meet market expectations. They will be punished! | diversification
12/11/2018 21:34 | 1teepee if the main indexes really get hit badly then small caps like VRS will be totally trashed. A lot of people in VRS now have never seen a proper bear market. | loglorry1
12/11/2018 21:33 | I listen to another one about the global sports and fashion company and he said this one really ticks the box:) this is nike right;) | 1teepee
