06/11/2018 20:07 | People can use their plusonecoins to take the box away unless they like it pinned there? If you don't know how press plus 1 box, press the thumb down and add the same no. of coins that Tim has given it the thumbs up to. Other than that superg could ban Henchard so that he needs to pay for the blue to post. | ![]() luckyorange

06/11/2018 19:51 | Nike, samsung, korean brands etc. all in qingdao ! Best ellis "Brand Strategy The success of brand development is due to the Brand Strategy, which was put forward in the mid-1980s. The city has continuing following the strategy ever since, and a number of companies have emerged and established their status as household names throughout the nation. Aside from Tsingtao and Haier, there are also high-tech firms like Hisense, which accomplished a breakthrough for Chinese companies when it eveloped its own digital video media processor technology in 2005. Far from being single-mindedly focused on nurturing its own companies, Qingdao has also received a lot of attention from international firms, which have invested billions of yuan in the city through its projects there. Besides electronics and appliances, other key industries in Qingdao include clothing and the food and beverage sectors—Nike and Coca-Cola also have multiple plants in town. Qingdao has especially close ties with Korean businesses. There are over 5,000 Korean companies in Qingdao and about 60,000 Koreans live there. Thanks to a clean and favorable investment environment, about 80 brands from World Top 500 companies like Samsung, HP, Lucent, Hyundai, Panasonic, Nescafe, and Wal-Mart have moved to Qingdao in recent years and are joined by top domestic brands like Gome, Sanlian and The Home World. Famous brand names in Qingdao do business in areas as varied as electronics, home appliances, chemical engineering, rubber production, beverages, food, costumes, steel, vehicles, containers and ship-building." | ellissj

06/11/2018 19:10 | I would propose as a way of getting our board back to reasonable discussion that we all filter all the shorters log spid dianne etc and whatever other names they come up with. The concern has always been by doing that that new investors read the shorters drivel and are put off- we could overcome that by having ratpat use his retirement to post his notice twice a day say 8 am and 1 pm to help any newbies and prevent them being driven away. I have some sympathy for Clubbies frustration but have always had a longer timeline in play myself. I think the only mistake NR has made is not putting a realistic timeline to some of the announcements eg 12-24 months from collab to order and 12 months or so re China. But noone is perfect. Appreciate things are difficult to predict though. | ![]() rheumking

06/11/2018 18:36 | Thanks for the link 66s, lessons to be learned... "Headlines touting graphene as the next wonder material have been a regular occurrence in the last decade, and the trip from promise to practicality has felt a bit lengthy. But that’s not unexpected; it can take time for new materials to go mainstream." | ![]() woodpeckers

06/11/2018 18:34 | Some bedtime reading on this amazing journey we are on with VRS, most will of read..........Https: | 66sequoia
06/11/2018 18:33 | @vrs you said "We had an amazing update yesterday on China" Are you easily amazed? Back in January they had a LoI for a free no strings attached £55m factory to help scale up. IP all protected. Now we have ummmm not a lot. Nothing even material enough for an RNS in fact and nothing legally binding. Trust me when I say this was not Amazeballs. | ![]() loglorry1

06/11/2018 18:28 | @AD63 Versarien have never broken out Graphene sales so it's impossible to say what they are. The only order ever RNSd with a monetary value was back in 2016 for £100k. At the time VRS expected follow up orders but none ever happened. It's unclear if the money was ever received. VRS production size is so small currently that unless they are selling at many times the value of other producers the sale values will be tiny. Talga have put a price of around $80/kg on their competing product so current VRS production would be a measly $80/shift. It's not clear how many shifts VRS are operating a week. XGS to my knowledge have not given a dollar amount on the Ford deal. You can download their 10-Q quarterly reports just Google them. The bull argument I think is that Nanene is so super special and superior that sales will flood in at far higher prices per kg. I have found no evidence that Nanene is a superior product to others out there. It is better than some I'm sure. Currently VRS trades at a 9x Multiple in market cap terms to its peer group. I see no justification for this other than its incredibly promotional CEO. I call this the Twitter Multiple. | ![]() loglorry1
06/11/2018 18:28 | The xmas advent has nothing to do with orders, it's a way of giving back to the community. Don't get your hopes up, unless you're hoping to win a raffle for A VRS teddy. | ![]() bisho4
06/11/2018 18:23 | Skyliteandy, “Out of towners in the bar”. Was that the night before the AGM? In which case, all of us in attendance deserve a hearty pat on the back! £200k is certainly showing faith. Good luck to him, and I hope he becomes multi, multi soon, cos..... 06/11/2018 18:15 | Share price - I'm not sure why the price has fallen. We had an amazing update yesterday on China. We know VRS are doing everything to protect IP and we know that all of the collaborations are on track. I remain firmly committed to VRS and look forward to the cosmic rise in the share price when the China deal is finalised and orders start to come in from all of the collaborations. The Xmas advent calendar of announcements will also contain news of orders imo. | vrs1
