24/10/2018 09:47 | forest - I don't think it's the tip of the iceberg: the tip of the iceberg is 10% of the iceberg, and I think VRS's journey to date is far far less than that - ASSUMING of course it all pans out... | ![]() club sandwich

24/10/2018 09:42 | Club then I guess we have to wait until it does deliver that big order or RNS . I sure we all want that 1st big order but no one more that NR the biggest share holder. Who is working as hard as a man can work to achieve this for himself his family and his shareholder and employees and his pride and driven ambition to succeed. hey let’s not forget the last 12 months or so , Vrs has had amazing growth that many have enjoyed and much more than a lot ever imagined it could have been when they invested a few years ago . Would you agree ? I’m sure you are one of those people who have been invested a good while and done very well for your efforts , the trouble is the more it’s gone up the more we have to loose and especially when has taken a downturn and worry about loosing . But we won’t sell out at the highs either because we believe in Vrs and Nr . So for me we have to believe or sell out and not worry And when we get to wherever we feel it’s enough or continue on this journey for potential bigger rewards and be part of the big picture . Many people in that boat on here . I think this is the tip of the iceberg as a good few do . So I’m going to believe if it’s meant to happen it will happen and I feel disruptive technology is happening maybe not as quick as we may want but the next 12 months will be interesting even the next months let alone 5 years time Just my view we all have our own . 24/10/2018 09:41 | Yesterday I said this publicly Evidence is also emerging that the morphology of Nanene has changed and not for the better as they scale up production to an eye watering 1Kg/day :-) I was then accused of not supporting this. I said I would and I will now. As you all know the CURRENT Nanene technical spec sheet is available at it is version 5 from www.nanene.com. Properties/morpholog Note the lateral size distribution 0.1u-10um There was a previous version of this document Version 4 available here let's compare the properties again in the table from version 4 As you can see in the previous version the lateral size MINIMUM was far greater at 0.5um compared to 0.1um. FIVE times greater. Also an average lateral size of 2um was given where it is now omitted in V5. This is evidence that the morphology has changed as I stated. The V4 numbers were also referenced in the July presentation here (slide 18) describing results to March 2018 so it is reasonable to assume that this change is quite recent. Looking at slide 17 we can see that this change was during scale up. Why is this change so important. The lack of published average size may mean the distribution of lateral sizes of the platelets is now more skewed towards the minimum 0.1um lateral size. Why is lateral size important? Aspect ratio increases with lateral size for the same thickness. Aspect ratio is defined as he (surface area) / (thickness or number of layers). If the lateral size has dropped by a factor of 5x then aspect ratio has also dropped significantly. Aspect ratio has been found to be an extremely important property in re-enforcement of composite materials see the excellent survey paper which I quote from below The most efficient reinforcement can be obtained when the product of ns is high; therefore, high aspect ratio is always desirable for the reinforcement of the composite. | ![]() loglorry1

24/10/2018 09:40 | Miton comments for September re Yu group. The largest detractor was Yu Group, a new supplier of gas, and other utilities, that aims to deliver much better service levels than others to the corporate sector. Its share price fell in September without any change in expectations. And you guys think funds have the inside track. £10 share price end of August, £8.50 end of September today on news it's 96p.... 24/10/2018 09:36 | Morning Folks, Sky has a blue tint today! 1. I had asked my broker (ii) a couple of months ago if the lent out my shares. They said no but Fest had some worries. I sent them this question 2 days ago and got a quick reply. Question: Dear Sir, I am very concerned my shares may be lent out to 'shorters' ! I DO NOT want this to happen. Please could you confirm that you do not lend my shares out to ANYBODY, ( any company, entity, individual etc)? A friend asked this question about his account with you by telephone and was not convinced the lady that spoke to him understood. Please could you address this question to a senior member of your team. Should you not be able to guarantee my shares are NOT loaned out can you tell me how to stop it? Reply: re: Lending my shares out to 'short'. yesterday general query Dear Sir, Thank you for your secure message. I can confirm that we do not allow any one to borrow any of out customer share. We do not support this even with request or instructions to do so by our customers. All of our customers account and any value inside them are lock to customers use only. It is against our policies to allow yourself or our customers to loan their shares out. We trust that we have answered your questions, however please do let us know if we can do anything else for you. 2. Maybe other people could cross question their brokers again. | ![]() laginaneil

24/10/2018 09:35 | DGD. The point being that a 2 x 2 square of graphene has TWO SIDES, therefore the surface area is 2 x 2 x 2 which equals 8, or just halve the surface area per gram and use one side 2 x 2 = 4, as SG has done. Hope that helps. | ![]() clint fleecewood
24/10/2018 09:34 | I knew I'd seen YU group somewhere (85% down today) It was the largest holding of the MITON group in the Microcap trust fund. Last month it slipped to number 2 by .1% . Today it's screwed. They sold the wrong one. | ![]() superg1
24/10/2018 09:25 | dgduncan That's exactly what I did if you check. I halved 2630 to get 1315. 10,000 cm2 in 1 m2 so 250 2cm x 2cm single graphene layers in 1m2. So 1315 X 2500 X the $200 price gives $650 mill plus per gram. It's rather expensive | ![]() superg1

24/10/2018 09:21 | Clint, Superg, - I quickly looked at density of graphene and don't see that as being relevant to the 1gm of graphene (one layer thick)covering 2630sq m. so I am still stuck on the calc being 2630 sq m / 4 sq cm. Either way - not worth worrying about as CVD is still outrageously expensive. Cheers D | ![]() dgduncan
