16/10/2018 07:42 | Sonny re "Hoped the investors looked what they heard" Can I just point out the US spotted Neill and VRS some time back. There was a Silicon Valley start up event a few years. Only 12 were invited from Europe, 2 from the UK one of which was VRS. Move forward a few years and you now see NR on the graphene council in the US top of the tree. In the interim you will have read posts by me saying the US were going on at NR to help out over there as they were so far behind. The see him and VRS and the lead. So top of the tree then a VRS member of staff addressing them for China. Staff that are heavily involved in sorting out the standards to help end users understand what does and doesn't work. So it's not a case of "hoped investors liked it" they have been keen for VRS to show them the way for some time. I have been posting it, I don't do BS. | ![]() superg1
16/10/2018 07:37 | DAFAD As a Vrs share holder ? How are you feeling right now . You seem quite interested in other graphene companies I wondered what your thoughts were in general . Personally I’m Very excited about Neill in America that’s got to be good for us don’t you think . Gl Ff | ![]() forestfred
16/10/2018 07:37 | Yeh, clubbie, there's no denying that's your right. Even to naysay the credible hope that rates this share? In effect talking your investment down ! Atb. Ellis | ![]() ellissj
16/10/2018 07:36 | Then why are uom buying it, I guess they can test lower forms and purchase nanene if needed for other tests | ![]() sonsonnyjim
16/10/2018 07:34 | Indeed grabster, check out first graphene website re puregraph. Take a peek at the 'specs' pdf. It only measures the flake sizes. No mention of layers. Since iso stnd rates graphene according to layers, that tells its own story. Ie Likely graphite. Aimo. Dyor. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj
16/10/2018 07:32 | elliss - whatever. personally, I'll wait for the RNSs. | ![]() club sandwich
16/10/2018 07:30 | It says high quality graphene in that UOM/FGR article | ![]() davemac3
16/10/2018 07:26 | As long as we hit commercial success these companies aren't a threat | ![]() sonsonnyjim
16/10/2018 07:17 | Me too. Despite what we know of their inferior product they certainly seem to be making the most of cuddling up to UoM and GEIC. Are they merely supplying raw graphite? EDIT: Ah, I see the whole exercise is specifically to push its 'pureGRAPH' product range - which UoM will presumably see for what it is: But the headlines they've been able to engineer are clever even if the product isn't ;-) | ![]() grabster
16/10/2018 07:17 | Thanks-just curious about the tie up with Manchester | ![]() dafad
16/10/2018 07:16 | DAFAD, it's an Aussie hype company, you really should read Mikes competitors write up in the header . | ![]() luckyorange
16/10/2018 07:04 | No clubbie, the hope is the potential, and it's this blue sky that the market rates this share upon. And not just any old hope. A credible hope that has a serious chance of fulfilment. Crediability secured by the impressive acquisition of class leading 2D tech declared by the company as iso compliant. And by the breadth of it's unrivalled links across academia, industry associations and government. It's this careful and astute building a of reputation that is unequalled amongst it's peers in the industry. Culminating in the 'top billing' on a foreign countries premier graphene trade conference pass. And that's why this industry leading share is rated so highly by the market. Orders will come. I have a reasonable expectation and confidence in that, based upon the facts as i currently see them. I have belief in the company and it's great management. Aimo. Dyor. 16/10/2018 06:59 | Thoughs on this FGR and The University of Manchester, acting through Graphene@Manchester have executed a Memorandum of Understanding. • Under the Memorandum of Understanding FGR will supply graphene materials to researchers at The University of Manchester on favourable terms. • Both parties acknowledge the importance of a reliable supply of high-quality graphene raw materials to enable the development of downstream applications. Advanced materials company, First Graphene Limited (“FGR” or “the Company”) (ASX:FGR) is pleased to advise it has executed a Memorandum of Understanding with The University of Manchester under which FGR will provide graphene products for research to be undertaken by researchers at the GEIC (Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre). 16/10/2018 06:54 | Just when USA is made aware of Versarien and our man in Palo Alto might expect new enquiries, Marko Ruusinen tweets that he is in London this week (on the 'Happy Signals' stand at 'Now Forum' 17-18 Oct. ). Priorities? Is Versarien not paying him enough to man the office? Or paying him too much for whatever it is he does? | ![]() grabster
16/10/2018 06:49 | "Our man in China" was a 'subtle' way of getting the message across I would think. Well, not so subtle, bit of a sledgehammer approach for maximum impact 🤣 | ![]() luckyorange
16/10/2018 06:45 | Amazon pitching for major US defence projects ovetnight news Interesting this coincides with a tweet by Neil on US Defence needing to look at Graphene ! It could be a big bagger of a contract if the likes of Amazon are pitching for it and would be great if yesterdays PR at the NGA Conf by VRS pushes some buttons, especially with the China live feed during the presentation to the US graphene sector ! Interesting times. | robinhood69
15/10/2018 23:42 | Zagro - oh really? Can you give us a firm date then, and the name of the client who will place the order, and a firm quantity for the first order, and a firm price per G? Thought not. Until that happens, we live in hope, not facts. | ![]() club sandwich
15/10/2018 23:41 | Club obviously I've no idea when it's coming but i really believe we're getting there | ![]() sonsonnyjim
15/10/2018 23:39 | No need whatsoever for 'hope' | ![]() zagrosfold
15/10/2018 23:39 | I totally agree it does. But again, I'll wait for the RNSs. Which might come very soon. Which would make me very happy ;-) | ![]() club sandwich
15/10/2018 23:37 | Yep, it's coming though, truly believe it. I daernt dream too much but when you're golden child of the US and placing ISO experts to call from China...it all looks pretty darn promising | ![]() sonsonnyjim
15/10/2018 23:34 | sonson "I'm sure you're also hopeful the investors liked what they heard" why wouldn't they - we do, don't we? ;-) we're just waiting for potential to turn into actuality. | ![]() club sandwich
15/10/2018 23:32 | Why do you say relax as an automatic response, I'm sure you're also hopeful the investors liked what they heard! | ![]() sonsonnyjim
15/10/2018 23:26 | sonsonny, relax. do some research and you will relax some more. | ![]() zagrosfold |
