15/10/2018 18:06 | or...Neill Ricketts on Twitter (Oct 12):'It would be great to have a demonstrator that we could show some of the technologies in. I am thinking of doing an Automotive specific event to bring investors both PI and II's up to speed. Anyone interested?' | anotherdrink

15/10/2018 17:42 | Exactly ic0. Of course, the manufacturer who gets the battery right, in terms of range and instant/quick ease of recharging, will have a massive lead over rivals. It's anyones guess who that will be. But clearly, firms will be eyeing next gen battery tech already, and you can imagine 2D materials must logically figure in their plans. Aimo. 15/10/2018 17:41 | Do we think that picture with VRS solo at the top above all the graphite companies is indicative of accreditation coming???? | ![]() sonsonnyjim
15/10/2018 17:39 | TFC, I think it's a trader who bought a significant amount on the drop and selling within the spread for around 10% -15% ish . If they had a look at the charts they would wait and make more. Good thing is they have no wish to crash the price. | ![]() luckyorange
15/10/2018 17:36 | Neill is such a class act: His latest two posts with pic's relating to the Austin Conference and Expo: first seems - possibly- to suggest a tyre deal before Christmas ??? And the other is really intriguing as VRS gets separate top billing ! Presumably that is indicating its unique status on the Council. | ![]() spike_1
15/10/2018 17:35 | This could be part of the way forwardAston Martin's new luxury Lagonda brand set to debut with an all-electric SUV in 2021Aston Martin has revived its Lagonda luxury brand, and an all-new SUV will be its first model to hit the market. The new model will make its debut in 2021, and has been revealed for the first time in this official design sketch. As the image shows, the Lagonda SUV will be heavily inspired by the spectacular Lagonda Vision Concept revealed at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. Expect a sleek, cab-rearward shape featuring deeply sculpted sides. Lagonda Vision Concept revealed in GenevaThe new model, Lagonda claims, will be the first fully electric luxury SUV to hit the market. It's part of a strategy which will see the brand producing a range exclusively powered by emission-free powertrains. | ![]() ic0gcds00
15/10/2018 17:28 | Indeed, especially because car manufacturers in a race to bring out EV models and so next gen lightweighting materials like graphene become highly relevant. Thus graphene moving onto the radar much sooner than otherwise expected. Especially European auto manufacturers are realising the threat that new entrants pose eg from asia. Firms like tesla are attempting to seize a once in a generation attempt to establish themselves as auto manufacturers, purely because petrol/diesel vehicles versus electric vehicles require a big redesign. In the uk, we have a chance to have a uk owned car industry once more. Re aston martin and dyson to start with. Who knows from there if uk can be at the forefront of the new tech curve here. Aimo. 15/10/2018 17:16 | Given the recent Ford moves hopefully beyond collaborations & towards manufacture - I can see why Neil most excited re composites as potential first movers re graphene takeup | pcjoe
15/10/2018 17:13 | Ford picking up speed now on the Lightweighting manufactiring front - & impressively moving into structural composite components now (not just panels/seats etc) - & this one as a result of a collaboration with our Friends at Warwick Manufacturing Group As a result Ford will be well aware of Graphene potential & the VRS connection there All good | pcjoe
15/10/2018 17:07 | XG - is a market leader? - & sharing that platform with our CEO? And all at a market CAP of £35mill or so? - Frankly that is currently a big Co in fake (or real) Graphene terms - But just shows what kind of a global lead VRS has at this time - our credibility has never been higher & is only highlighted by these pretenders Neil seems a gentleman & no need to make enemies, but must be tough sharing a platform with these types - But if it is the only platform in town & when in Rome etc.... | pcjoe
15/10/2018 17:03 | Possibly nemo, if the invites were only to graphene producers within iso standards, not many firms would be there ! Thus essentially 'graphite' firms (per the standards) are represented too. It's all about the end uses and performances of graphene versus graphite. This is why vrs are highly sought of and have a share market leading performance. Aimo. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj
15/10/2018 16:57 | Nemo, there aren't that many prominent graoheje producers I think Is why. Vrs were selected to be first company US accredited, hopefully that provides an obvious divide for investors if it happens, the less researched mau not know the gulf in quality | ![]() sonsonnyjim
15/10/2018 16:50 | Nemo, If you enter XG in the search box you will find 15 pages of posts about XG many by SG1 and MB explaining about XG's products. | ![]() sandbag |
