Fully agree with superg1. Company in Derby looking at taking on 1,000+ composite employees over the next year. They have a big contract win coming in. It would indicate to me as Neil has stated, composites first with my personal interest of high tech batteries and energy storage. Anything away from huge amounts og lithium is going to blow the doors off. The US are about 18 months away from literally flooding the lithium market with brine sourced lithiums of battery grade produced within 48-72 hours, no need for evapouration so SAmerica operations will need to take on this new tech to survive. If they do then lithium prices will drop massively and quickly. Problem for EU and China is extra cost for shipping such bulk ?
My only post on here and I will be respectful on here. Lse99 and superg you post some great stuff. Many thanks.

Re China and the US - the intensifying competitive nature of that relationship and The desirability for VRS and all things Graphene in China can only help Neil & Co in promoting the business - I wouldn't be at all surprised to see VRS make rapid progress from this time on in the US - Nice to see Ford taking graphene into commercialisation via soundproofing and lightweighting in recent announcements

FYI I spoke at length to Matt W about dual use issues for Nanene and UK govt licenses at the investor golf day as it had been raised by a govt contact of mine as a potential issue - he didn't see it as a blocker just part of the process they have to go through to trade. Key is IP protection / audit, funding / valuation and research support on table to scale and support distribution

If Peter Jay’s task is to stonewall the Chinese, as has been suggested, then as well as being a fluent Mandarin speaker he must also be an accomplished actor judging by his performance after the AGM. I don’t buy it.

The T20 buys I did last week in the 130's are looking good. How long do I hold them before I close them out?

A very key point for me in the Ian Cowie comments.

I had heard Miton were going to hold what they have left which for the record is between 2.5 mill and 3 mill.

No sign or rent sales by them and I see Ian Cowie spoke to Gervais.

It is also reassuring to find that shrewd stock-picker Gervais Williams, the manager of Miton UK Smaller Companies and Miton UK MicroCap funds, is a long-term shareholder. He told me: "We expect many of their partnerships to lead to new product launches with plenty of potential to scale up over time.

That comment tends to support what I heard re Miton.

I have Herald as under I mill left.

Not greedy squire, the market is waking up with a reallocation of resources heading our way imo. Return to highs is inevitable imo. I would be surprised if it was in a straight line but having said that it went down like it.

Fun and games.

Actually I have Aecom as potentially a company maker and the largest near term (of those in collaborations) potential for VRS having done a bit of digging.

This article from 5 years ago shows the potential of graphene to disrupt markets. Such are the gains in the lab versus conventional. Glad to be in vrs. Hopefully we have the products to commercialise some of the many lab discoveries since graphene discovered in 2004. Aimo. Glalth. Besf ellis

"The new sensor may be the first to be able to detect broad-spectrum light, from the visible to mid-infrared, with high photo-response or sensitivity. This means it is suitable for use in all types of cameras, including infrared cameras, traffic speed cameras, and satellite imaging. Cameras fitted with the new sensor will soon be able to take clear and sharp photos in dim conditions."

They were never named as such, just assumed.

On the other hand AECOM was named and they are definitely a US big shot :-)
