10/10/2018 07:09 | And also this quote from grabsters article : "The newest paper, on which Novoselov is a co-author, focuses only on the “liquid phase exfoliation,” the slicing graphite method." This method explained below and not relevant to vrs to my laymans knowledge. Aimo. Dyor. Best ellis EDIT : just checked excellent mike bremner research in header, part one. This quote : "Mechanical exfoliation of graphene - Mechanical exfoliation is the original method used by Prof Sir Andre Geim and Prof Sir Kostya Novoselov to isolate a single graphene flake. Scotch tape was used to remove layers from bulk graphite, these layers are then transferred to a substrate such as silicon. On removing the tape single layer graphene with large crystal sizes is left on the substrate. My Opinion: exfoli So the method used by vrs to produce +nanene wasn't included in the 'fake graphene' report, and so +nanene not tested by them. This article has proved useful in highlighting the need for industry standards, and also shows why many companies producing non iso compliant graphene/graphite are resisting their introduction. Aimo. 10/10/2018 06:36 | Here is research paper of cambridge graphene detailing their method to produce graphinks. Single layer and few layer graphene produced. Graphinks data sheet on 2dtech website is for few layer graphene. And a secondary lesser grade graphink too. But at least companies know what they are buying and investors in vrs know the quality of the products being produced ! Aimo. 10/10/2018 06:10 | From that article grabs; “Kauling and colleagues’ article is, therefore, a much-needed wake-up call for graphene producers, buyers and researchers to agree on and to adhere to sound standards: a transparent graphene market would benefit everyone, except perhaps unscrupulous vendors,” he writes." Hurry up UK GOV; get uk graphene testing service up and running asap while we have world lead ! It was announced in august, surely it will be in place before GEIC opens in december ? :-0 aimo. 10/10/2018 02:13 | So who will be going to the Total Market Solutions Event in London on Thursday? I’ll be there and would love to meet fellow members of the Versarien family. | maisto
10/10/2018 01:43 | These articlesare probably also the cause of the selling we saw yesterday. PIs who haven't done their research panicking in case all graphene producers are as bad as each other | redchef
10/10/2018 00:35 | “Our extensive studies of graphene production worldwide indicate that there is almost no high-quality graphene, as defined by the [International Organization for Standardization] in the market yet,” Just reminding Tim Kempster (aka loglorry) who keeps banging on about how many graphene producers are outselling Versarien - and who keeps insisting that superg1 is wrong to describe so many competitor products as rubbish; many of them apparently ARE rubbish. (Article based on yesterday's Fake Graphene report in Nature magazine) The report goes a long way to explaining why big-name companies and Chinese provinces are so keen to talk to Versarien if Versarien is one of so very few (maybe the only one?) producing best grade graphene. It also means that - contrary to what Tim Kempster (loglorry) argues - we are not just basing our confidence on whatever we hear from Neill Ricketts and superg1. Versarien really is something special. That became evident last year when Versarien did so well in the CPI tender, setting the company apart from others: | ![]() grabster

09/10/2018 23:48 | And so it begins, the adoption of graphene into products such as cement in America. Ford adopting graphene to reduce noise from the engine. The race to a competitive advantage begins, others will follow suit and fast. Who’s graphene provides the best results will determine market share, watch this space. | ![]() diversification
