"If you really know and understand a company thoroughly and its products well, you'll have the crucial additional confidence required to sit tight through several inevitable but normal corrections," wrote IBD Chairman William O'Neil in "How To Make Money In Stocks."

hew, I think the face was in response to him saying to Ian "good job I love you..' and then realising what a yucky thought that was...

More importantly was the bit that followed...

"normally coincides with an increase in the share price"...

Superg1, I hope your theory is correct. I don’t agree with shorting and feel it’s morally wrong.

O/T, Likely nonsense!

Feeling very relaxed after catching up on Neill's tweet chat today, I'm enjoying speculating about his last but one, and could use some help from the likely young and modern experts here. (I'm far too old and not clever enough to interpret it.)

which reads:
"Hopefully 😜 normally coincides with an increase in the share price"

That symbol following "Hopefully" looks better in colour. Mousing it gives; "face with stuck-out tongue and winking eye". Does that have a standard use? The tongue alone would surely be simpler, ditto the wink alone. We know Neill loves hints.

Aren't symbols like that usually at the end of sentences? Then I would take it to refer to the whole sentence, as part of the response to the medical expert who prompted the tweet.

But where it actually is, might it be intended to focus on the word "Hopefully"? Then the wink could cover "I don't really mean just "hopefully"", and the tongue, to focusing that meaning at that medic specifically: "Yah-boo, you'll see!"

Well, I did say OT. Still relaxed. Sorry if I've wasted your time.

Another consideration is that I do not believe that the fall in the share price is down to the antics of log, Rainbow or any of there followers. They are bound to turn up and say I told you so during and after a fall like this.

Imo this fall is down to general market jitters and is evident across the board with alternative stocks like PRSM, WAND and FEVR as highlighted by a poster this morning.

Imo as quick as they fall they will rise on relatively little volume by comparison as the major seller sucks the supply from the market.

My only problem now is this years ISA allowance is essentially full, lucky my time horizon is longer than the sellers. The only person I have to keep happy is the wife.

Squire not sure Traded Options are available for AIM stocks and other derivatives require margin payments whereas going short requires no outlay so that's probably the answer

So what we know so far...

- Material has been independently tested in China

- Independant valuations have taken place for the business, JV partner and it’s subsidiaries.

- Working on the legal agreements

- They want freedom to operate, a good way of protecting the IP imo

- A route to market, orders.

- U.K. government departments licence IP, I assume to provide geopolitical consequences in the event IP is stolen.

It’s all coming together, all parties concerned will want a return on investment. Their are many moving components to this deal.

Car sharing/Ride Hailing changing ideas of traditional car ownership in china. Cheap mass produced autonomous EV's where ride sharing has greater status appeal than owning your own represents a huge shift in consumer behaviour. Even the biggest firms are rethinking, and collaborating in partnersips. Hopefully 2D has a great future part to play here in ev production. Aimo. Best ellis

So we all know what is going on here...sg has been hinting at it for ages...therefore the arrival of certain persons to the board in an attempt to disrupt and create fear is hardly surprising...what is surprising is that holders are rising to the bait, playing into their hands and allowing them achieve what they are so desperately trying to do!!!

Stop engaging, hold on to your shares and make these morons suffer!

Collars being felt, love it.

PWC Price Waterhouse Coopers.

I saw the “valuation by PWC” quote and wondered what that was all about. Anyone know?

Sonny - T20 etc .....We all buy under a T trade, behind the scenes T3 is the shortest ranging up in 5's thereafter ( T5 T10 T20 ) all working days ( sat sun not incl ) Most small buyers using banks etc to buy and pay a small fee £15 !! Or so and get T3 regardless. I use a full blown broker and pay fraction of 1% ....!! The price can drift out a fraction if you buy T20 but generally u pay same. Thereafter if u sell and buy bk within your T trade dates ..... you are in effect bed and breakfasting !!! Can get messy when doing your tax return ffs! Many a time I have bought then sold then bought back within a time set T trade, all good fun but messy for CGT! Anyway T trades require u to be good for the cash but give u time to pay .... Good luck, hope this helps as im drinking vino in Espania sulking after a bad golf day ;-)

Well I saw T20s being mentioned so thought things must be out there.

In the fullness of time I hope there to identify some dirt behind it all and if some are T trades then that adds to the suspicion of fraud. One can hope collars will be felt, all in good time. :-)

Unlike them I don't do BS.

So keep it up boys aid, abet, counsel, procure blah blah blah.

The gift that keeps on giving.
