It's does beg the question why raise so much if the initial outlay is £673K, the loan cash isn't required for 12months? I'm not complaining, but would like disclosure about what the extra cash is for.

If GNA feel a need to sell any of the Versarien shares that they are acquiring as part of the deal (eg, to allow part repayment of loan if insufficient profits by then to do so?), I presume that means they could sell up to 658,139 shares at the end of next March. And same at end of next September.

Gnanomat supercapacitors are meant specifically for electric vehicles (c.f. RNS) now it narrows down the list of potential collaborator Neill was talking about. Now I do d some research yesterday and all I could find was a business event in which Gnanomat took part where there was also PSA (Peugeot, Citroën, DS, Opel and Vauxhall) Nissan, Volkswagen, and Toyota.
So now which one is it? Or is it something else still?

There are a few things that stand out to me from this RNS1. GNA wanted shares in VRS rather than cash.......they obviously see huge potential upside, otherwise they would just accept cash now (bird in the hand, etc.), particularly given the lock in periods.2. The terms of the loan instalments are interesting.......my understanding of them is that GNA will be cash generative from sales of Graphene enhanced batteries, otherwise how are they going to repay them? (Someone might have a different perspective to this though)3. It would be interesting to know how the EU funding side of things works......1bn is a big number, but how much of that is available to the likes of GNA? It clearly won't be all of it, lol, but perhaps a question for the AGM??

No problem with the structure of the deal. A cash element and about 0.9% of vRS shares 1/2 to be held for at least 6 months and the other half for at least 1 year. Convertible notes in 2 instalments beginning in 12 months with interest 6% and are repayable over 3 year period. Smart business yet again NR

Looks like they are on the Spanish exchange "the issue of 1,316,278 new ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company ("New Ordinary Shares") to existing GNA shareholders at an agreed price of 150p per New Ordinary Share"
