13/9/2018 21:04 | The market on various shares seems odd in recent times. This one too. We had a pattern of spike, retrace repeat. I did say and continue to say 150 was odd it didn't seem to want to drop back. Then this recent surge. With Fest reporting on various occasions being able to sell biggish numbers at good prices then I put that down to fund-like buyers but have no idea. Then other times can't sell on a rise and can't buy on a drop. All MMs 10p spread. Not just here ECO and others too, then on a bad news share dip the other day buying on the bounce MMs took it up as if they needed shares but it could only be sold in tiny amounts. It has felt at times on many shares that we are allowed to look but not engage. Look at Prsm today wtf was that all about. | superg1
13/9/2018 21:03 | I think it’s natural to see and expect a bit of exuberance here. For those that have purchased the share as a penny stock and now see 10 to 20 point shifts in the stock, they are going to see large monetary shifts in their portfolio. However, as a percentage the movement is not so volatile, especially to a new shareholder. With large purchases of stock still taking place, I will not be worried if the company has still not delivered on international expansion or a physical order until the market cap reaches £400m. A figure achieved by IOF and QFI back in the day as a one trick pony. The market makers are playing a blinder and are ensuring it doesn’t move to quickly so as to protect the technicals. However, as they start to deliver on the existing collabs, new collabs and international expansion. Newsflow is about to snowball. Imo | diversification
13/9/2018 21:02 | Super - I think it's a keenness to see evidence of commercialisation, NR suggested 2 months from July for a few collab updates, which doesn't seem to be on track. It appears ( just from Twitter) that Neill is waiting for the AGM to update on a few things, so it promises to be an event not to be missed! Can't wait | sonsonnyjim
13/9/2018 21:01 | I don’t think for a moment think NR will play to the crowd and announce something at the AGM just to keep the twitterati and impatient content. Patience young grasshoppers! | lovat scout
13/9/2018 21:01 | A few days up or a few days down I am not that bothered really. I am thinking long term.in fact today I was wondering if I should just try and avoid looking at the share price until Christmas, although I may not have that much will power Of course because VRS are not bug news (The press) this might be achievable But I will miss the charactersc on this board and their wealth of knowledge with regards to VRS etc. I will see if I can last out. 13/9/2018 20:56 | 'Just me and a couple of others...' - does this include superg I wonder? | anotherdrink
13/9/2018 20:56 | We seem to be rns mad at the moment. I don't take update at AGM to mean RNS but an explanation of the 1 to 24 move which is already in news. | superg1
13/9/2018 20:55 | I'm staying put, not selling a single share... yet.Because the chart is very robust.Every rise consolidates, buyers soak up profit takers like Lucky. There'll be profit takers at every level, I'll be one eventually, but not this side of 300 to 500pIf it gets there on solid orders or expansion, I'll not sell there either. | festario
13/9/2018 20:52 | Lucky - I suspect there will be radio silence from VRS until the AGM unless there’s some dramatic news so we could see all emotions between now and then. There’s definitely a lot of two way business at these new highs which is interesting and the house broker has been bidding for shares. No one ever got poor taking a profit - no regrets! I may sell one share tomorrow! How’s nurse Ratched?😜 | lovat scout
13/9/2018 20:50 | Personally I think as long term investors here we're just going to have to get used to vertical cliffs... | woodpeckers
13/9/2018 20:49 | Just me and a couple of others.... ok , carry on. | luckyorange
13/9/2018 20:48 | lucky, is it the chart that is 'scaring' you? I did notice your post last night... uckyorange13 Sep '18 - 06:43 - 32993 of 33206 0 1 0 It could track sideways bootie, the 20 day sma needs to catch up with the price and the share price needs to cool down a little and consolidate. Did expect a backtest of 1.60 which hasn't happened so may need to do that before having another attempt at breaking through 1.80 and maintaining it. Note the 'may' | woodpeckers
13/9/2018 20:47 | I would not blame you for taking some profit Lucky. I think that we would all like news soon, bout I think that the position will be clearer after the AGM. Then we shall see where we are. Personally, I do not take much interest in tweets, but we have some very enthusiastic investors here. Including me. | rogerbridge
13/9/2018 20:46 | Diversification - would suggest no news on that untill AGM, especially when coupled with golf day tempering expectations on rnss. Things taking longer than expected/outlined, but seems to be because opportunities are increasing in scale. | sonsonnyjim
13/9/2018 20:43 | So NR seems to think that he will provide an update on China at the AGM. A few have fired questions at him as to the probability of an RNS prior to or at the AGM to allow him to discuss China. No reply. Thoughts? | diversification
13/9/2018 20:42 | luminoso, nice reply. Really like that. We all should've that spirit. Every person buy and sell at his/her own time depending upon so many factors such as risk mgmt, age, cash/tax requirements, house sale/purchase, helping others. Like they say, each to their own. | ashehzi
13/9/2018 20:41 | Wow, lucky, I'm surprised at your post... Not for one minute saying you shouldn't sell any but I'm missing this frenzy that you're seeing...??? | woodpeckers
13/9/2018 20:34 | Is NR in California? Last tweet timed 12:03 PM - 13 Sep 2018 posted 30 mins ago. | anotherdrink
13/9/2018 20:31 | No, Lucky not bothered by the frenzy at all. I keep my eye on the company not the bulletin board. Mind you, I would not criticise you for taking a profit, even if I don't want to. | luminoso
13/9/2018 20:23 | .. and seeing as VRS always goes bananas when I'm on holiday, this augers well! | festario
13/9/2018 20:22 | On my way in 10 days Roger, you can't move for banana plantations in Tenerife! | festario
13/9/2018 20:22 | Is it just me or is anyone else put off by the frenzy on here? I have sold some simply because of that and I need cash in the bank, plenty left but not feeling at all comfortable with the over exuberance. | luckyorange
13/9/2018 20:17 | I wonder how the tests are progressing with Aecom? Well here is a nice headline to read :) Graphene Derived from Albany Graphite Continues to Show Considerable Promise as Cement Additive September 13, 2018 (Source) — Zenyatta Ventures Ltd. (TSXV: ZEN) is pleased to announce preliminary research findings from University of Toronto that point to significant improvements in the compressive and flexural strength of cement when graphene products derived from Albany Graphite are combined with the cement. Including graphene in quantities of as little as 0.02% increased the compressive strength of cured cement paste by up to 39%, according to research conducted by Professor Daman Panesar and her team at University of Toronto’s Department of Civil & Mineral Engineering, where she is one of the inaugural recipients of the Erwin Edward Hart Professorship in Civil Engineering Some of the quotes within the article: "Including graphene in quantities of as little as 0.02% increased the compressive strength of cured cement paste by up to 39%" “These encouraging preliminary results strengthen the business case for using graphene in concrete" “With such a low graphene loading, Zenyatta may now be able to pursue the ready-mix concrete market which is much larger than the significantly smaller volume Ultra-High Performance concrete market.” The ready-mix concrete market is estimated at US$500 Billion per year." 13/9/2018 20:17 | Lovely weather here in Tenerife. Driving back to the apartment, we passed a couple of banana plantations. Plenty of bananas, but I think VRS will have more bananas soon. | rogerbridge |
