Neill Ricketts must surely have left a business card or two at No.10 ... (I mean, he's always popping in there)

Philip May - husband of UK prime minister Theresa May - who might have popped a card in his pocket - is employed by Capital International - a financial investment company headquartered in Los Angeles, California.

AECOM, a global company also headquartered in Los Angeles, California, has chosen to collaborate with a little UK company called Versarien.

Coincidence?

1teepee I have no idea, all I know is what NR mentioned recently which was they were coming to the end of technical due diligence. Anything else is speculation AFAIK.

Now you've been and gone and done it bootie, that's anotherdrink out of the running by
end of January.

Lines fairly drawn but the next couple of weeks is important to see it all play out. Yep, China is definitely well and truly on, would love to know what direction it will take but who doesn't.

US will play catch up now?

South Korea?

Collaborations?

India?

Could be wrong but Beijing open university may be an online option like the open university in the UK

To be accurate the last piece of information re China was that they were coming to the end of technical due diligence. I am not aware of anything that suggests that price is an issue, although I am sure it will be part of any negotiations.

I started investing in VRS after an encounter with a Jedi Knight. He revealed the secret of the universe to me one night as we looked up at the stars. ‘Dark matter holding everything together it does’ he said. Then he made a vee shape with his fingers and said ‘Nanene nanene’. Hic!

Chinese gov squibbling over the price

Well - the longer the leave it, the higher the true value of VRS, especially if it's left till after VRS's Nanene US accreditation, which I would expect to either co-inside with or be prior to the National Graphene Summit and Expo. 29 - 31st October - Nashville.

Best wishes - Spike

Matt has just welcomed Peter Walker 'our latest recruit'
Peter describes himself as follows on twitter:

Peter Jay
Deputy Head of International Strategy and Government Relations

Westminster Abbey, Greater London, United Kingdom
Nanotechnology

Current
Versarien® plc, Department for International Trade (DIT)

Previous
Department for International Trade (DIT), Bristol City Council, Cabinet Office

Education
Beijing Open University

Seems that although Peter's pic is outside No 10 his address is Westminster Abbey
So .. it would seem no 10 not big enough for VRS any longer. Well - now we know were the new nanene manufacturing will be done ;0)

p.s. Hope we're not paying for the heating ;0(

Brilliant that he studied at Beijing Uni' - got to be a big plus for us!

The below chart is my view of where the shareprice is heading.

IMO if positive China news is released Aug/Sep then I think there will be a significant leap similar to Nov - Jan

Reading anecdotes today. Too many people know too many other people big in vrs. I am similar position. I think this share is mentally saturated now with PIs. No chance of any institution taking a position. Good news will see multi bags in a day on this now. I mean China deal. This will go stratospheric. I think institutions are out. Too high risk. But if this comes really good we will see huge rises every day for weeks

paul, couldn't agree more.

I think that the danger here is that because so many of us have been in for a while and have serious paper profits it becomes quite hard for some to not feel that they should thank their lucky stars and exit.

I'm not trying to influence anyone. We must all make our own decisions. I make mine based on this simple question... If you had just found this, would you invest?

My answer, obviously, is yes, without a doubt.

I actually think that the period when I bought most of my shares was possibly the riskiest. At that point, we were not much more than a one(great!) man band, saying he had an amazing product that the whole world would want. Unbelievably, that wasn't that long ago! Thankfully I trusted him and my research.

The arrival of Matt Walker, however, made me sleep very soundly. The government have put a lot of money in to the initial startup of graphene. The fact that they chose VRS to have their total support told me that not only do we have the real thing but they are going to make sure the whole world knows that we really do have the real thing!

Already, it is obvious that most of the world know that. We have China, India, Israel, Korea, the US and others knocking on our door.

But as others have said, we are really just at the point where the train has barely left the station.

Oh, and just another thought which we haven't really discussed, aren't the Europeans going to want Nanene...?

I came by VRS though a stroke of luck and a good friend and client. He’s a successful finance director who was doing a deal with an institution one day. When he arrived they were all talking excitedly about their previous meeting which was all about th epotential of graphene. My friend got involved in the conversation but they would not reveal the name of the company they had just been talking to. On his way out he saw a flip chart with the name Versarien scrawled across it. He memorised it and asked me to research it. That was October 2016. The rest is history. We both bought unwise amounts of VRS at between 10p and 14p and I added foolhardy amounts soon after the LO dip in the 20s and just a few subsequently to average just over 19p.

Blown away by my good fortune and the friendship I encounter on this board and at VRS itself. As a retiring IFA I must avoid giving advice, but a few good chums have followed me in on ‘info only, DYOR’, and I think we collectively hold around 1M shares. I hold mine on the wonderful Transact platform.

Thanks Cheek for the acknowledgement, I’m so glad you followed me in from the RedT board, I still have a few there and glad to see their story taking off. Vanadium has a great future in energy storage but I choose to hold the only active western miner of the stuff Largo Resources. NAI DYOR!!

Is it just me or do I find myself logging onto this VRS chat when I wake up and pretty much all day long every hour or 1/2 hour.
Superg has become my superhero and generally the educational value of everyone's comments is to be applauded. Lovats knowledge of the inner workings of the trading world i find very interesting.
NR and co have consistently impressed, but for me personally the appointment of DIT peeps has really confirmed the credibility of VRS.
