16/8/2018 10:14 | "But the news means what we know it means." that a China deal will be announced by the AGM on Sep 25th? Oh I hope so. Makes perfect sense to bring in a guy who is fluent in Mandarin to handle the actual implementation (hundreds of phone calls about every detail of delivery across multiple sites, no doubt), the lawyers and business having taken care of agreeing terms. That's just my opinion, obviously. | club sandwich

16/8/2018 09:49 | The news yesterday. Very interesting to ponder. You know of it, I know of it. But , even in market participant terms, it may have been "asymmetric ". The fund manager on a beach. Not notified even some of us not really 100% on it. Not forwarded as an RNRns ..etc There's an advantage here . Think on .In paraphrase exploit the quiet . Risk going beyond the Plimsol line.Beyond fund managers and market followers others remain blissfully unaware putting money on Liverpool with their new goalie to win the league. 16/8/2018 09:41 | To my mind, this considation period is likely a false bottom. With now 3 accreditation processes in play ? Each attracting certifications, and Geic to be rolled out in the Autumn, clearly the emergent graphene and 2D materials industry in the UK is sorting itself out and becoming organised. By the year end, we shall likely have greater certainty as to what's what, which can only give market confidence and encourage greater investments. As far as i can see, neill and co have vrs well positioned all all regards. Hopefully all the firms products will be certificated at the earliest opportunity. Aimo. Dyor. 16/8/2018 08:27 | Level 2 catch up. I thought briefly that Wins had managed to reload late yesterday but this morning they are sat way off the offer on 128p and are on the bid so for now they don't seem to have any. | ![]() superg1

16/8/2018 08:25 | Shavian I did spot you over at Bluejay Not one I'd invest in having had a good read and I see Legal and General sold some recently. Being a junior miner with a big MC and no revnue it's likely to get hit on the points you raise and already has been. | ![]() superg1

16/8/2018 08:22 | When talking bigger individual investors I know form chatting to various CEOs including recent chats that they wait for derisking and progress with less concentration on multi-bags like many PIs do. EG 10% - 50% for them is a very big return considering how much they will invest. I've looked upon few of those names most in the UK and their net worth in some cases in multiples of the VRS M/C. They work in different leagues. | ![]() superg1
16/8/2018 08:12 | Shavian That's why I'm glad many of the big funds have already left VRS and the others left have also cashed in plenty. I look at some fliers and they have a number of funds with large holdings some already selling which may explain the dip. I was actually thinking yesterday I should get on the hunt for such stocks that may be undervalued. D4T4 was an easy one when it hit £1 quite mad really that the market and investors hadn't realised it was a false unjustified share price based on the good news that was known to be coming. It's up about 70% from there. Must be others out there I just don't put in the time to look. Generally such circs only exist where there is very little volume and BB activity. | ![]() superg1
16/8/2018 08:09 | Shavian - not *all* our hopes and dreams are invested in China. VRS could still be a phenomenal business without China - it's a bit more than the icing on the cake, but if/when multi-100T orders start coming in from the likes of Unilever, DDP, Continental, Nike etc it will put China into perspective. | club sandwich
16/8/2018 08:04 | It’s going to be a turbulent few days on the markets, especially in the emerging economies and currencies. Please don’t assume that we in VRS are immune from the tides which wash around the investment world. The association of all our hopes and dreams with China may well impact VRS share price in coming weeks, regardless of the astonishing prospects which beckon for us. Personally I have cleared the decks a bit across my portfolio to build up a small war chest for targets of opportunity. And yes, for the first time I have trimmed just a few profits in VRS by way of risk reduction (NB I am 76 and my average VRS buying price is under 19p). I have taken a very temporary position in SUK2, a double-short ETF in FTSE100. Very high risk punt by my standards I know, but if it works I’ll be buying back into VRS on any dip. Phew. No advice intended, DYOR. | ![]() shavian
16/8/2018 08:03 | WINS and that 450k supply yesterday. It seems obvious they had a supply first thing and once done we saw the tick up then hit the normal PI selling/buying game which popped it up and down Now confirmed as Wins dealt with over 900k of the volume yesterday. Not 900k of sells you have to count the stock in and out etc. | ![]() superg1
16/8/2018 08:00 | 20pc Re this comment I entirely agree but would add they are often the spread bet type. While they may arrive they leave just as quickly because share X just saw a 30% hike. Who are the herd and what will be the trigger. Anyone reading this is not the herd, the herd are the thousands of investors who dabble in shares who will see a tip and just buy without doing much research. On that point I think Bluejay got hit yesterday on a margin call. High M/C with no revenue so it became a target, there was a sudden dip and to me it looked like a forced sell of about 1 mill shares in minutes. | ![]() superg1 |
