Volume has dropped off but as Lovat said a few weeks ago is very normal for July/August.

Volume on the announcement last week was 1/4 of normal.

Judging by the way the share register is looking we have very good chance of seeing new highs before the end of this quarter but DYOR.

Can't blame them for doing that lovat and a good point, VRS and HMG will get there and with more than 20 interested partners it does make the case for whoever is first to secure the deal.

I think behaviour of momentum stocks in AIM is more or less same. MM algo/software behaviour is predictable, indicating low use of AI.

Laginaneil - the only way to stop the theft of IP is to make it valuable to the local partners too. If we take China as the example, it’s a huge market so the local or national governments will be making sure they protect their share of the profits.

Nothing unusual yesterday 3 main players traded around equal volumes so not dominated by Singer yesterday.

I was referring to the cup and handle in the long term chart above ashehzi, expect it to play out once the selling ends . Usually more likely to play out the longer that they have taken to form.

Hard to call pshevlin, I can see cup n handle in weekly chart (kind of) while daily has not (handle is too big). Fibonacci 23.6% is in 120-125p, so it is playing around these figures for some time or you can say around its MA50 range.

Ref Pennant, the daily highs and lows also forming a pennant with the lows tightening quicker than the highs. Ref IP employees can be bribed no matter if there is a collaboration in place or not. I'm sure NR & Co are aware and hopefully all inner circle employees are tucked in with golden handcuffs

Makes you wonder if there is any way to stop IP theft..maybe £1B in an escrow account.

It certainly looks like a pennant to me, I've been thinking that for a while.The high majority of pennants resolve to the upside apparently.Except QFI, which collapsed and cost me a bomb.So I'm now due one that does what it should!

Chart related indicators get skewed in AIM alot because of the way prices are moved right & left by the market makers. They are not true indicators in such cases and you've to factor in additional parameters (and I can't figure out yet).

Have a play around on Sharpcharts , they don't cover all companies but VRS is on there, as are bollinger bands/ichi but no fibonacci.

Thanks lucky, I've got a lot to learn! Like you say, fundamentals are paramount as far as I'm concerned but I do find charting interesting in quiet moments.

Trying to learn a little about charting whilst we wait. Can anyone confirm that we are in the pennant phase at the moment? Not actually sure what that means to us even if the answer is yes.. ;-)
