20/7/2018 19:06 | As mentioned above, today Zak's 'technical target' for VRS is 220-230p, having broken 135..... see a short clip from 4m 20secs: | ![]() axotyl
20/7/2018 19:03 | It wasn't me... :-) | ![]() woodpeckers
20/7/2018 19:00 | Was listening to talk sport on my way home earlier and the were talking about planes doing away with windows to save weight and fuelI wonder what they could replace the windows with !! | petejay
20/7/2018 18:56 | '....as FCA platform review out earlier this week is going to make it easier to switch" But with shares held in a nominee account, Lovat, does that mean one can switch without selling and re-purchasing? I can't see that happening, but I haven't a clue how it works. | ![]() axotyl
20/7/2018 18:54 | Next resistance should be around 1.60 as people take out their 25% or so. A lot bought around 1.30 so hopefully that should consolidate and give support to any rise. Depends on what that 'chess players' next move is? | ![]() luckyorange
20/7/2018 18:53 | I share deal = RNS is rubbish! That 1 share tonight was designed to freak people on Monday.. they tried pulling it down yesterday and failed... they need shares... plain and simples.. just don't be sucked in by their games... I love it when this happens, you just know you're on to a good thing ... :-) | ![]() woodpeckers
20/7/2018 18:52 | Sg - no MM has to honour another’s price so you most likely dealt with 1 MM who was asleep and kept reloading or took out up to 4 separate MMs. Either way - you snooze you lose! | lovat scout
20/7/2018 18:51 | I have it faltering at 1.90 Clint, no crystal ball but if it heads that way too quickly then it will drop back. Wouldn't want people buying thinking that short term it is going to hit 2.30 would you? clint fleecewood20 Jul '18 - 17:59 - 22528 of 22543 0 0 0 On the other hand, the chart now shows us closing above short term resistance and set for Zac Mir's ( and my) 2.30 target price. | ![]() luckyorange
20/7/2018 18:45 | Lovat Thats sounds about right they didn't like 4 approaches instead of 1. So that would explain it thanks. So basically the MM trying it to get more than the quoted price on the screen which they are supposed to honour. | ![]() superg1
20/7/2018 18:43 | I know China has franchise businesses and Chains to serve acrossthe country - Macdonalds & Ikea etc - Something similar for Our Nanene production centres? | pcjoe
20/7/2018 18:42 | NR might also be delaying to get Justin back ...to see his enthusiasm on what he has missed this week !! No hard feelings Will | ![]() iain dick
20/7/2018 18:41 | 1 share trade signalling RNS is complete tosh! SG - the only reason you got a complaint about 4x10k trades is because the MM wasn’t paying attention! Your broker was worried about being cut off by MM but that won’t happen- they need the deal flow! You can always move platform if your broker gets ratty as FCA platform review out earlier this week is going to make it easier to switch. | lovat scout
20/7/2018 18:41 | I suppose unless your a long term investor then it's all a big game. The 3t eluded to. What is the£SP per gram? | giants25
20/7/2018 18:34 | Wouldn’t be surprised to see a Monday RNS. Resetting the offer price at open. Apparently a 1 share trade can indicate a pending Rns, I personally think it’s a load of tosh but with NR delaying the podcast until Monday maybe he wants to kill to birds with one stone ;-) enjoy your weekend with a swelled portfolio valutation. | ![]() diversification
20/7/2018 18:34 | MMs thrive on two things, volatility and volume, so will push stocks up and down to fund levels to trade. RNS often gives them that excuse. MMs don’t have to justify prices to LSE as they will say it’s their money and their opinion of the right price at that moment in time. They do have to honour their quotes but turn RSPs right down to protect themselves whilst discovering true level. LSE needs MMs otherwise markets wouldn’t function properly and so only crack down when they have to. MMs don’t particularly like each other so will often move prices against each other to try and inflict pain! | lovat scout
20/7/2018 18:32 | Many thanks to all, here's to a good next week, cheers | ![]() wuzy
20/7/2018 18:30 | Interesting to see if same deal on table for 24 Chinese entities as each other - Could it be that the VRS/China model will be based on individual ( or multiple) Graphene production centres which will serve localised market for product? - Obviously large single commercial concerns ( Tyre/plastics manufacturers) may well have their own Nanene production plant in house Each entity could start out with small scale production but with capacity to expand into growing demand Hopefully find out soon - The worlds best & likely biggest legitimate Graphene producer set to take first step into real commercialisation - My bets on the ink side, but anything possible | pcjoe
20/7/2018 18:29 | Giants MMs get their wrists slapped regularly for false bids and offers. I recall getting a call once when I wanted 40k shares on a share and they looked available on level 2. It kept offering a price above the offer. So I did them all online 4 x 10k and got them at the price. I then got a phone call saying not to do it in the future as it's against the rules. Told them to shove it, if there is 40k available then hand it over with the 40k attempt. They don't work by the rules so neither will I in that scenario, not my problem, don't put false offers on the screen. | ![]() superg1
20/7/2018 18:25 | It’s hard to manipulate the close in order book driven share prices as the weight of money decides the price. With MM quote driven shares the quotes obviously aren’t forced to be part of the closing auction so open to shenanigans. | lovat scout
20/7/2018 18:19 | Wuzy - same principle applies whether CFD, plain equity or any other financial instrument. FCA best execution rules ensure clients best interests are observed. | lovat scout
20/7/2018 18:15 | Why is it legal to buy one share to articially pump the price up so when it opens it drops to what it should be? Or am I being thick | giants25
20/7/2018 18:01 | Scout, l don't mean in spread betting just normal stock holdings,cheers | ![]() wuzy
20/7/2018 17:59 | On the other hand, the chart now shows us closing above short term resistance and set for Zac Mir's ( and my) 2.30 target price. | ![]() clint fleecewood |
