28/6/2018 09:56 | I wouldn't. Spends too much time on rwitter | ![]() craigy
28/6/2018 09:52 | Don't worry about Rainbow he is just trying to eke out a 20% gain here and there whilst a quite a few here are nursing near 1000% profits with hopefully more to come. BTW would you employ a so called management consultant like Tim Kempster to advise you how to run your business when he hardly had the vision to look beyond the end of his nose?! No way. No wonder he is stuck in the public sector. | ![]() chillpill
28/6/2018 09:45 | Rainbow, and indeed anyone else who needs to chill, should listen to this. Beautiful, beautiful song... | ![]() club sandwich
28/6/2018 09:38 | Don't worry, rainbow will be back no doubt to tell how he timed the perfect short blah blah. I'd have a modicum of respect for someone who was just open and said I'm trading it, I'm short because I think it's going down for a bit. You don't get though, you just get a drip feed of inane comments about how the wheels are coming off etc etc from someone who honestly believes their drivel is impacting the share price. | ![]() tini5
28/6/2018 09:37 | Sorry for O/T again guys, last comment I promise.. STJ - at the end of the day, it's the final interest that the client receives that is important to him, really doesn't matter what smooth Mr Smith makes along the way really.... | ![]() woodpeckers
28/6/2018 09:34 | Obviously, somewhere over a ....... Sorry couldn't resist | ![]() ayl30
28/6/2018 09:28 | Strange, no sign of Rainbow this morning LMAO. | occultusverum1
28/6/2018 09:26 | I assume that 50k was actually a buy given the upward movement in share price first thing for no apparent reason. | ![]() owenga

28/6/2018 09:03 | Looks to me all sorts of buying and selling going on, there are 10K buyers and so are sellers | ashehzi
28/6/2018 08:51 | O/T Woody/Ayl30 St James's Place are a very well oiled marketing and client relationship machine but very expensive. The performance of their funds is average at best. The vast majority of the population need financial advice and should be encouraged to pay for it, but investors should look at the costs and the performance of their investments too. Smooth Mr Smith visiting you at home every six months to reassure you that all is well with your portfolio needs to be backed up with performance and cost comparisons too! Low fees aren't the answer, it's all about value and paying a higher fee for a good fund manager is fine for top performance. O/T rant over! Back to VRS. | lovat scout

28/6/2018 08:37 | As I understand it st james only invest in their own funds so although the charges for having an account appear modest the fund charges is where they skin you. Can't see advantage of using them myself | ![]() ayl30
28/6/2018 08:33 | Lovat - yes my hubbie's SIPP is with ST James'Place, I have tried to persuade him to let me have it but he says the amount I already have in VRS will no doubt make us very rich anyway so.... IN fairness to STJ, they have not done badly, giving him an average of 12% net interest over the last 8 years...I'm not sure about the charge for holding cash, he is going to ask the question... I have persuaded him to ask them if he could have that in VRS stock instead... | ![]() woodpeckers

28/6/2018 08:18 | I'm sorry crack but saying something is true when you have no knowledge that it is, is ramping! You can say that you 'anticipate' or 'wouldn't be surprised' as caveats, but it is not acceptable to blatantly ramp. Best wishes - spike | ![]() spike_1
28/6/2018 08:16 | Up nearly 41/2 %. On no volume | graphite bot
28/6/2018 08:16 | Interesting early limits certainly. At the bell they would take 50k chunks from me at 1.09pThen, 10 mins later, only 25k qty, but at 111.5p | ![]() festario |
