29/7/2021 14:15 | 9 lives indeed. With near 15% gain I near choked on my late lunch!! | 29palms
29/7/2021 13:04 | Hmmm- big cat this bounce? | mjb252
19/7/2021 20:04 | Dubois - thoughts? | chawkers
19/7/2021 15:16 | There she blows! Going under, shame as the idea was good but the execution and management lousy. | astralvision
19/7/2021 08:45 | This time last year VDTK were starting to announce a series of deals that ultimately never happened, no doubt with an eye on last Autumn's fund raiser. It worked a treat, but you can't pull that stunt again.Cash and time running out for VDTK. Chart looks dire, another test of c 2.4p for third time. Then a drop into the 1's looks inevitable. What a disaster of a company this has been! | astralvision
01/7/2021 13:04 | I note RR received £123k for last year, which was a part year for him, so annualised probably more like £150k plus. What happened to that commission only deal he was supposed to be on???The non execs take out a decent sack, as does Geoff Nesbitt.Good to know where all the funds raised go! | astralvision
01/7/2021 12:51 | Dubois - since their IPO in Aug 2017 VdTK have consistently informed investors that they are on the brink of commercialising their solar panels. Yet it never happens. What makes you think that this time will be any different? | chawkers
01/7/2021 10:36 | It is idiots like you that bring these boards down. Filtered now. | dubois
01/7/2021 10:29 | Well done Dubois! I think that's the first sensible post you've ever managed to write. Keep it up. | horseposture
01/7/2021 10:19 | horseposture, wow, I wish I was clever like you. | dubois
01/7/2021 09:38 | If you saw a donkey at the Grand National paddock with odds of 1,000 to 1, some people (like Dubois) might be tempted to have a flutter. However, donkeys simply can't jump fences that big. Therefore, however generous the odds, don't bet on donkeys in races like that. Similarly, VDTK is running out of cash and, in order to jump Fence 1, it needs another £5m to replenish the balance sheet. With it's record and present share price, it can't begin to raise that sort of money ever again. Even at 1,000 to 1, it is not worth betting on VDTK | horseposture
01/7/2021 09:36 | Thanks for the reply dubois.Really hope you are correct and something can be salvaged here. There is no indication, least to me, in the AR that things are on the up though?Surely they would say, rather than saying they are 'pipeline building' for rest of this year and into 2022. That's sales speak for no or hardly any sales for quite some time, imo.Interim results month after next will tell who is correct. | astralvision
01/7/2021 08:54 | astra, no I haven't spoken to him. This is my view based on where they have been and where they are now. They do not need to RNS every order as I do believe they are selling more of the smaller orders. I understand everyone's reluctance to believe in them. I am of the same view from a historic point of view, but feel the company has been sorted and they are now on their way. You could almost say we are exactly where we were this time last year, but I think as a company we are much much further along now. Only time will Tell. | dubois
01/7/2021 08:25 | duboisI hope you haven't been speaking to RRThere is absolutely no indication of any decent level of sales this year. They would have to be a RNS for any decent sale, or a RNS NON to announce say a number of sakes. If RR is telling you any different I would be vary wary.I got a message from Rob the other month saying they are continuing to win orders and ship projects. It may well be true but it's nothing of any significance, that is a fact. | astralvision
01/7/2021 08:15 | 32, that would certainly give confidence, yes. | dubois
01/7/2021 08:10 | There's only one way to give Investors confidence. Directors and the CEO buy shares. There's no excuse now they are out of a closed period. Have they got confidence to put their money where their hot air comes from? Don't hold your breath. | 32campomar
01/7/2021 08:02 | I'm still here and ready to get kicked by you all. The performance over the last 12 months has been shocking and nobody in their right mind would try and challenge that. RR was in charge and from a sales point of view, his performance was abysmal. HOWEVER, I do believe that whilst some of the problems of over hype, were caused RR shouting about what he believed was going to happen, there is no doubt that the company was not the company RR thought it was. He has had to go back to basics and "Reset the company" from the base up. Obviously this has taken time and is why we are where we are. This time last year they were "saying Sales, sales, sales", but not completing on either delivery or payment. This year they are producing and selling but not "saying". I'm of the opinion that it is their time and all has/is coming good. The next trading update will surprise us all. The possibilities are in the accounts to be seen. AIMHO - DYOR | dubois
30/6/2021 17:04 | A corner shop would turn more than VDTK in a year in a week. what a dog of a stock. | tomtum1
30/6/2021 16:08 | Might be worth £500 chucked at it at 1p | volsung
30/6/2021 15:48 | Interesting there's no mention of patent disputes - not even a hint in the risks section. No way the auditors would have let them get away with that if there really was a Damocles sword over their heads. Storm in a teacup, as expected. | supernumerary
30/6/2021 12:36 | ddt - perhaps you can tell us where AV is been wrong with his assertions about the company? Or perhaps you can share you views of where you see the company heading? Or maybe some of the things Rob shared with you on your call? | caney
30/6/2021 12:11 | A fair summary from Dean on the MW board.btw, even MW has thrown the towel in on these now.sales just over £21k - pathetic. Looks like at least 7 of the 8 sales that were announced were spurious. This co. does have a long track record of announcing spurious sales but when this was brought to the BB's attention several months ago I was repeatedly informed that all was well and it was just shorters antics. It was apparently impossible to borrow this stock so any shorting would have been minimal to non-existent. Shorters 1 Bulls 0. £3m cash burn for the year! Doing what? Sales team were on commission. Perhaps all spent on making a stock of panels that now seem both technologically and performance wise inferior to those offered by their peers. Oh, and some of it has been stolen (and we still don't know if they have adequate insurance). Bye bye £3m. Crowd funding to raise some pennies. If they get £500k (unlikely) then at historic cash burn rate that's just enough to last until early September. What then? Hopefully relegated to history. | astralvision
30/6/2021 11:52 | Haha hilarious Astralvisision. Enjoy the swim and seems like you have settled with one pool only. Burger flipping is quite lucrative actually. Look me up at Five Guys you moron. | ddt1455
30/6/2021 11:42 | Finally ddt for your info yes, I have indeed been head of a company, I was chief exec. That company made millions in profit (I know the profit word is a strange one to VDTK followers). I sold the company to a well known PLC for a very tidy sum many years ago, so thank you for asking. | astralvision |
