Those aren't flexible panels. You can go onto the website of flexible panel producers (Sunman, Solbian etc) and download data sheets.None of the ones I've seen are as high as 350 watts for a 60 cell size panel.

Fwiw the attached link suggests there are over 10 other solar panel producers with 60-66 cell panels and 350W+ flex panels. So VDTK's next gen panels are unlikely to set the world alight and transform the fortunes of the company imo. More of the same old spin to gloss over fundamental shortcomings at the company. hxxps://www.cleanenergyreviews.info/blog/most-efficient-solar-panels

I do t know if you took part in the placing dubois. We were lied to plain and simple, add deception in as well. There's absolutely no doubt about it. I'm in contact with other investors who took part in the placing and they can verify that.If a business doesn't pan out, too bad, we all know the risks when we invest. But when there is lies and deception on a large scale, now that's a different matter entirely.

I don't think it is a case of anyone misleading us. I don't believe everything that was supposed to be happening/in place, was as it should be. Just from the way things have transpired, there was obviously something wrong at the point RR took over.
As far as the failed/delayed orders are concerned, I do not believe for one minute that anyone lied. I think it was just pure bad luck that the orders were delayed etc. They still exist and could come good.
My holding is a lot lighter than it used to be, but I'm hanging in here in the belief all will come good.

Why should we show loyalty to a company which seems to have mislead its investors

There’s an old saying. Loose lips sink ships. Your all helping to drive the share price down with your negative speculations. If your invested stop if your not why make yourself busy. It’s a UK Company be supportive show some loyalty

I think it might be! Be interesting to see the paper trail re the SAF deal, the placing, the eventual disclosure to investors that SAF was 'delayed' and that no payments at all had been received. If I was those Unicorn guys I'd be wanting all that documentation.Fraud is certainly an offence!

I didn't say I was pleased with the distinct lack of progress and of course am aware of what hasn't happened over the past year. I've seen my fair share of delays and promises in the clean tech sector; time will tell if they are able to be successful.

Aja2Last year they announced new Portuguese facility, Aussie market was 'hot', cash flow positive by year end 2020, no need for funding, SAF deal worth $1.5m or whatever. There's a list as long as your arm for forecasts that they didn't meet. In fact they met none of their own forecasts. This year the 'base' forecast is 20MW.Q1 done, scores on the doors, 0MW.Think that 'base' forecast has bit the dust to join all the other failed forecasts.Even if the Paragraf JV is still alive, what they going to fund commercialisation with? Brass buttons?

Never say never but highly unlikely, I would be very surprised; I was referring to last year's forecast.

Indeed, I've been keeping a close eye on Oxford PV, can't publicly invest in them though. When I spoke to Vdtk last summer they expected the graphene panels to be ready sometime in 2H 2021 so not surprised they're not ready yet.

Agreed. Sales to date have been shocking. If they can't break into the Australian market with the new panel then I think there is no hope.Still a chance they could turn things around though.

Yes but we know Australia is a huge Market. We were told it was a huge market 12 months ago in one presentation that was clearly hugely misleading to potential investors! Can't remember the guys name. Anyway, they have sold nothing in that time - sorry one tiny 75KW contract which we are now told has also been delayed from last summer! It's a shambles really.

Once VDTK have the newly certified panel they will be able to target Australian On and Off -Grid projects.

The largest competitor in Australia is Sunman.

Sunman’s current range of 60 cell flex panels are rated as 310 watt.

Therefore Verditek’s new panels will be more powerful.

Sunman also do a 72 cell flex panel which is 375 watts. Verditek’s panels would be 420 watts if they chose to make 72 cell panels.

It's all about orders though. Australia is a huge market if they can start selling the new panels!

Chawkers, why do you keep going on about a raise. They are not having one, they do not need one.

Company's credibility is shot to shreds. Doubt many PIs or IIs will participate in the next CR unless it is at a massive discount. As for the legions of Michael Walters' followers who bought into the Verditek Renaissance story last Spring in the wake of the Michael Harrison vimeo interview, sadly most of them fled to the hills nursing heavy losses some time ago. It is a long road back to 18p ATH for VDTK.
