Chawkers,

how much of VDTK did you previously hold? Was it over 1%?

For anybody contemplating taking a punt on VDTK at current bombed out levels I would advise doing your research first and asking the following getmane questions: 1) Who are the founders and BOD of VDTK and what (if any) experience do they have of solar panel production? 2) Why was VDTK originally establushed (as Greenflex) in San Marino and what (if any) connection did this have to evading EU import tariffs? 3) Does VDTK have any patented IP? 4) Listen to major shareholder Paul Harrison's ( ex CEO of Strategic Minerals 2012-14...) vimeo interview and forecasts in June 2020 and correlate with what has subsequently transpired 5) Check out the background of major shareholder Paul Celaschi (ex UBS trader) who sold VDTK stock in Oct 2020 - convicted of betting irregularities by the Jockey Club in 2013 6) Check out the RNS from VDTK's IPO in Aug 2017 to present and correlate with reported revenues 7) Check out predictions & subsequent achievements by CEO Rob Richards since his appointment as CEO in May 2020. 8) Examine VDTK's balance sheet and cash burn. 9) Check out VDTK's website and Twitter feed over the last 12 months and compare to competitors (Solbian/Sunpower). 10) Check out the website of Zero Watts Homes International and the prospective connection with VDTK.

If after doing your due diligence, you believe VDTK is a great investment, good luck.

But if things don't work out and VDTK are forced into yet another dilutive cash raise which may or may not be successful, then you have nobody to blame but yourself if things don't pan out.

Of course, it's perfectly possible that VDTK may extract a rabbit from the hat before they runs out of cash in the next few months and that Cov19 vaccines enable 'normal business' to resume and delayed contracts to be sealed. However, the past 4 years suggest this is an unlikely scenario. Caveat emptor as the old saying goes!Setting up a new business is never easy. Success is never guaranteed even with stellar management, patent protected products ( aka a MOAT) and cash rich investors with deep pockets who can afford to keep the business afloat during troubled times.

In the immortal words of Baldrick, all that is needed now is a cunning plan by the CEO and all will be well!

Horseposture has a point! Cunning plans are all very well but they need to be grounded in reality rather than cloud cuckoo land!

Even if VDTK got a GENUINE order tomorrow (about as likely as Boris getting a perm), the company is still going to run out of cash.
An order must be delivered before it first becomes a receivable (this is not cash) and then it could be many months before that receivable turns into real cash. I.E zero cash flow this year.
Meanwhile they are burning £120,000 a month which means they will be empty by the autumn.
As a result the company absolutely has to do another huge stock offering very soon. However I really can't imagine anyone subscribing.
4p is now not the bottom, it is the top.

I like your confidence CI.I do agree, a plan is needed from dear old Rob, I think they need to set out how they see the way forwards, sales strategy, sectors to be targeted, direct sales force or commission, status of delayed orders, assurances on cash, when in h2 they expect to sell mk2 panels, update on Paragraf jv.So far we've had nothing or the bare bones. They must be dreaming up a cunning plan, surely?GLA

4p is the bottom, All we need now is a plan from the CEO this quarter and this will fly.

campomarThey can't sell anything due to cv19 and mk2 panels not being available till some time in H2, that's my take.Although gawd knows what they do with the £1m of stock.Discount it to get it shifted and bring some much needed cash into the business might not be a bad idea. The cash must be running down every day with no sales and all the overheads. How many months till the next fund raising?

Or RR should quit trying to flog solar powered tut-tuts in Thailand and relocate to Europe and get his f'ing finger out!

Maybe they should hold a half price sale a bit like DFS/SCS?

I find it absolutely extraordinary that it's May next week and VDTK haven't sold one panel since last summer. I was told by the CEO before Xmas that there were deals ready to be announced 'within weeks'. And here we are 6 months later. There's clearly something fundamentally wrong here.

Wouldn't get too excited by Bradclad. Looks like they were a Leo Powell intro judging by the BIPVCo connection. Last year their (Group!) t/o was £682k, they made an OP loss of £5.7k and had 6 employees!

Bradclad has extended the Energi-Roof concept to flat roofing, by bonding Verditek solar modules onto single ply membranes.

The process uses Bradclad’s unique Solarbond technology and results in solar modules which have been factory bonded to sheets of single ply membrane. These sections of membrane, typically around 2m x 1m, can then be incorporated into the flat roof system on site, with either mechanical fix or fully bonded, as required.

This exciting addition to our portfolio allows the building designer the possibility to incorporate a lightweight and highly efficient solar system onto a flat roof, in place of crystalline glass solar panels on metal framing and the weight and fixing issues they present.

Who knows? They obviously don't want the same situation that we had last year and I think they may be only going to announce once they get paid for orders. I have suggested that to RR.He certainly has egg on his face at the moment and maybe just maybe he is going to come good soon.I don't think now is the time to be out, but I thought that when we came down to 12p
