dubois - I do have an interest in the company, it's just not financial at the moment. That's the case for a number of companies I follow, many of which I've never held and probably never will. Here, I'm reluctant to just write off the DD I did (which has proven profitable in the past) and walk away - who knows what the future may bring?

Edit: chawkers - just another PI talking his own book, as was abundantly clear at the time. I'm sure you're familiar with the type.

supernumerary - If you have no stock and no interest in the company, why are you asking questions?

Doesn't matter either way, just asking out of interest as seems strange.

dubois - I haven't been a shareholder for quite a while, and see no prospect of me becoming one again without something significant changing. In the circumstances it seems a bit inappropriate to be nagging the CEO about his plans.

snIt's an interesting question. I haven't asked it, but I fear my dialogue with VDTK is at an end. PH was happy to talk to me pre placing but has gone cold on me now!If someone was to ask RR the question perhaps they could report back here?

The only question I'm interested in is whether or not they've suspended sales because of patent/licensing issues. If the answer is yes, then there's hope that they can resume sales in the not too distant future when the redesign is complete and certified. If it's no, then the only hope I can see is that the redesign will result in much-reduced manufacturing costs and/or a much-improved product. That is, perhaps needless to say, a very long shot.

Given that this question is now well out in the open, I can't see why they should be reticent about answering it. Has anybody asked it?

astra, 32campomar, yes you are correct. The performance has been one of the worst I have seen. It has certainly cost me. I just can't be doing with all the moaning on here. You have both contacted him yes, but most don't.
If we want it to change we need to get RR to change it or move on. People need to contact him. We do need a to know what is going on.

The problem with The CEO from my perspective is that I feel I have been completely mislead. I'm not saying it was deliberate, but there's no doubt in my mind I was given a sales pitch when I spoke to him (more than once) which with hindsight would have been embarrassing coming from a car salesman never mind a CEO. Deals lined up, one after another, absolutely none of which have materialised. I can't even be bothered to contact him again because I don't think I could believe a word he said to me.

You all amaze me!! You constantly complain that the company doesn't sell anything and moan about the price going down, yet what you are doing is trashing the company and forcing the price down even further.

There is no doubt about it, the company has performed very very badly, but there is no point in having them executed on here as that will not get the company selling and in turn get the price up.

If you are not happy, which is pretty well all of us, then tell Rob Richards himself about it, not other investors. If enough of you complain to him, he will do one of two things, get moving and do something about the lack of sales, or resign and make way for someone else.

Stop stop stop moaning on here, get off your backsides and do something about it.
RR is well aware of my unhappiness with the current situation, but one single persons view counts for nothing.

Think that's about right hp I think the only thing they have of possible worth is the jv with Paragraf, but can't see Paragraf being best chuffed with VDTK as a partner, seeing as VDTK can't sell a panel for love or money, Paragraf may well question what the point of the JV is.

I have warned you all before. This company is running out of cash, despite being given a whole lot in the autumn. There is really no chance, even if they get an order soon, of avoiding another cash crisis.
This is because it takes months for an order to turn into cash in the bank, particularly for a small unproven company like this.
The company will struggle to raise any more money because the share price is too low, there seems to be little demand for their product and there is very little trust in management.
Therefore, in my view, this share is worthless.

Think they got away with the PH interview as PH wasn't a director or employee of VDTK.He's just a plain simple con merchant.

Remember thinking when I heard the Harrison interview that the guy was a bit of a spiv but I jumped in anyway. Maybe first impressions are important

The IP ownership (VDTK don't have any IP!) is less of an issue for me than the content of the Paul Harrison vimeo interview from June 2020 which was one of the catalysts for last year's share price rally. The interview was given by VDTK's co founder and 2nd largest shareholder. I challenge anybody to listen to that interview and then ask themselves whether the BOD and management of VDTK have any credibility after what has actually transpired over the last 12 months. Then ask themselves whether VDTK have a snowball's chance in hell of raising more capital (unless at a hugely dilutive price) when the cash runs out.

In the space of a year VDTK have gone from tweeting about the potential demand from 4,000 small mining companies and the 2GW offshore oil & gas mkt to a photo of a fledgling German yacht company (FlinSolar) trialling a handful of VDTK panels. How the mighty are fallen.

The dot-gobbler's well and truly back :(

I have literally no idea at all what you're on about with that Lisa nonsense, and neither do you. Have you been joining dots again? Why don't you get a grown-up to tell you what the little numbers next to the dots are for? Or maybe your mates at GCHQ? That way you might have just the faintest chance of joining the right dots in the right order.

When did I ever deny the patent belonged to Meyer? I know you have the reading speed of a slow 5-year-old, but just try going through my posts again, which gave a full run-down of the patent situation. Only one liar here, and we both know who that is, don't we? When am I going to get that court appearance you promised me?

Fact is, Meyer don't care - if they were going to sue, they'd have done it long ago. And on what grounds might they sue? What exactly have they lost? What damage has been caused? If VTK had been wildly successful it might be another matter, but as things are, it's a non-issue.

I agree it's a possibility they can't sell because they've had a 'cease and desist' letter from somebody, and frankly I rather hope that's the case, because if so they can resume sales as soon as they've completed the redesign and retooling. That would certainly be a better outcome than the alternative, that they simply can't sell the product.

We shall all simply have to wait and see.
