Still more buys than sells, yet price down 6%. Logic does not come into it.Long termers who ignore the intraday intramonth and intrayear gyrations are surely going to be the winners here.Come back in 18 months.

did not somebody say that hbm have to unload their vec shares because they are only allowed to have investments in swiss companies or am i confusing something here? so it has nothing to do with "they know something we don't know"?

If HBM know something we dont where have they got the info from and if so why have we not had a RNS from VEC re info if any. Also its a pity we will never find out HBM reasons for selling when you think better brains then me could have sold in the 150s .Cut my holding in half at 150/180p range a while ago ok still stuck with 40000 thats life.

a1ord53-if HBM have been regular sellers and responsible for the depressed share price then they can't have too many left to sell even if they are completely removing Vec from their investment portfolio. At the beginning of April they had around 60M shares so looking at the daily volumes in Vec they must have sold a good chunk of those. I can't believe it is just HBM that are unloading but they may be the pack leaders. What is of more interest and concern is why HBM are unloading, that is if it is really HBM who are doing the selling.

FT reporting a possible bid by Japan's Sosei. Strong ties between the two for a decade or more.

I spoke with one shortseller and they absolutely sure that HBM will continueing to sell all their shares and share price definetly depressed until HBM out. Oneway trade - down . He is also sure that no takeover bid to expect.
Woodford legendary investor is legendary looser and he is also responsible for this value destroying whats happening now with Vectura.
Big shareholders should support share price and fire Ceo.
They do nothing and damage their shareholders.

I think that it has occurred to one or two of our shorter term new friends that no decent FD is going to jump ship if there is any possibility of a bid and another fat payout.

Ceo should go with Cfo and Vectura will be in better shape .
Hbm could sell all their shares at the time when share price was 150-180 p , but they are idiots.
All troubkes like Advair Fda delay, litigations are already discounted five times - how many times more ????

As i have said before have been trading shares for over 30 years and have never seen a share behave like this usually when they go down they stay there but this is up and like a pair of haw's knickers.

I cant wait until f...ng HBM will be out .They are in troubles and trouble Vectura . The HBM management are idiots with Pharma background but with no investment experience.
Fda, Hbm, shortsellers, Ceo equal all troubles of Vectura and shareholders.

Shorters enjoying their ride, I've lowered my buy in to 75p which represents remarkable value but no guarantee that support will hold with this downwards momentum.

Massive disparity between analysts valuation of 180p and today's price of 87p. How can this be explained. If there is no valid reason I would say this is a safe buy to tuck away, even with the problems that exist with GSK litigation etc.
