Quote from Hikma's trading statement today: During the quarter we initiated our repeat clinical endpoint study for generic Advair Diskus(R) . The study is proceeding as planned and we expect to submit a response to the FDA with the new clinical data as early as possible in 2019.

Trying to get my entry price is like pulling teeth! I've picked up another 5k over the last 2 days and have another 15k in orders sitting there. At this rate i'll only reach 100k holding sometime by the end of the month. Before you ask, yes i am penny pinching over 1-2p as each recent buy is pushing up my average price. It's now at 78p, due an order i forgot to delete (set a daily time limit) while in the US causing me to pick some up at 98p. Yuk!

edit
Got them - that took patience! I'm now fully committed on my available margin so no new positions for me unless i add more capital.

Interesting piece. I think it was clear from the Qly GSK results that this was the case re Advair. If GSK are really pushing the Ellipta series - trelegy, Anoro, Breo and Incruse then any generic device will have a field day on GSK sales and forward earnings estimates.

Just back from the AGM.

In brief, nothing new (almost), but steady as she goes, very confident going forward, and plenty expected to be reported in the interim statement in September.

The litigation in the US has been brought back into Q4 2018 by the judge handling the case although, of course, the result may not be given until Q1 2019. However, a question was asked on the subject, and openly discussed as far as possible, along with Vec's good relationship with GSK otherwise.

The board very aware of the share price being played with, but nothing they can do; that's down to the FCA.

Had a good twenty minutes with Andrew Derodra before the meeting and, along with some other private shareholders, half an hour with James Ward Lilley after.

All very reassuring; I will be holding and adding further.

Alex

I notice that the share price and POB's geographical whereabouts is once again showing a definite correlation.

AGM statements are always bland. What do people expect? This is not a results statement. If Flutiform and Ultibro revenues are continuing to track in line then there is little to worry about. The base revenue generators are doing the buisness. There are 7.5 months to go before the end of the year for partnering and pipeline progress news. Quite a few glass half empty people here. Please sell up so my orders can be filled, i'll take the shares off your hands...at the right price for me.

Trying to scale in here without overpaying is more difficult than i hoped. I have a set of orders in again today (i reset them every day to take into account any news pre-opening) to increase my holding by 20%. I'm slowly edging towards the 100k mark. GBP/SEK short closed a few days ago (4500 bps in a little over a week...currency madness) so now only holding VEC, SHP, IMB and RRS (in that order of total position value). I am loathe to add more funds to my account to move more quickly, but i may have no choice as now close to 85% margin committed (though around 15% of that is on orders unfilled in the market). Might just have to bite the bullet, unless one of my other positions jumps towards target, so i can move stops to release margin.

I have no idea if it's a pump and bump but twice this year have shot up to 120p and 100p before going back to 70p just put it in for decussion and before big volumes. Also I like to hear what other people think! .
P's just had 3 cold and wet days here in S O France !!!
Cheers POB

It’s clearly not a pump and dump, don’t you have to start with a pump?, and the volumes aren’t high at all

Do you not think we may see some sort of update before the agm?,

Nothing happens at AGMs, in general. All I can see is a sustained walk up in the price on average volume. Not a lot to read into it at the moment. A pump n dump requires the pump part. I see no news or rumour that can be described as that out there. Doesn't mean it isn't there, just it's not public knowledge.

I don’t see this as being a pump and dump, the agm is later this week, I think it may just be people realising that this is massively undervalued, and getting in before it. There is so much news flow to report that we havent heard about yet. I have a feeling we will all hear from these very soon
