03/8/2019 11:08 | I spoke to the office Arcticneft on Thursday Only got as far as the reception but she informed me that the tanker had been held up by bad weather but was now loaded and away . that in future if I required any info that I contact there Moscow office . so rang Moscow office and got a pleasant receptionist again who informed me that she could not transfer me to any of the directors . A little more home work got me through to the reception of the office of the Cyprus who informed me that the office in Cyprus was closing at the end of August but it will still be registered in Cyprus urals phone number 007 343 3711491 and also 007 499 666196 | defender3

31/7/2019 09:15 | They have kept the web site going . Why if they don't intend to use it ? Mr Optimist. | tone the bone1
30/7/2019 16:33 | Darren, I completely agree with what you say but I'm afraid we are none existant to them. They have got the lot as planned and they feel very sure sod all will be done about it. | chavitravi2
30/7/2019 15:51 | lol, another one who has lost more than they can deal with | rcturner2
30/7/2019 12:19 | I suspect that Darren considers me to be a troll on this thread but here goes anyway. Darren is right that there is still a legal company in existence that must comply with various rules in Cyprus and Russia. However he is deluded if he thinks they will care at all about the minority shareholders and UEN will not spend 1 second keeping them informed. If any of you want to try to salvage anything from this then my suggestion is that you band together and commit some money into finding a corporate lawyer in Cyprus who is not in any way connected with the company or the directors who can advise you on whether the company is in legal default of its obligations and if so what action can be taken. | rcturner2
30/7/2019 11:19 | Given most of the people on this board have invested money in the company (a few trolls aside who i'll not name/engage with) then I think we can safely say that our sentiment can be called "investor sentiment". The company is no longer listed but it is still functioning behind the scenes, as can be seen by the deferral of bankruptcy hearings twice at Art (legacy issues from previous board afaik) and the completion of the tanker last week. Given we are no longer listed there is no real responsibility on the board to update shareholders unless they deem it necessary (true for all private companies, not just UEN). Common decency at least should dictate that they keep the people who have invested in the company up to date on their progress. It is extremely frustrating that they have provided zero updates on progress at the company, the only updates we receive are from other shareholders trawl through the web. It would be useful if the board would provide this type of info via official means (website). They made a lot of promises when they took over. They've had over 5 months in their positions now so really should be making some progress on the objections laid out in the circular prior to taking over, as well as the very detailed RNS post their appointment. My hope is that once they have money received from the shipment (as well as loans repaid at Pet) they'll provide an update eon current state of play - over to them now... | darren81
30/7/2019 07:43 | Maybe we should be discussing some viable action to force Uen's new BOD to act, rather than just sitting around and leaving the hope of any return of our money to the mercy of a silent BOD? any suggestions darren81? | whu0319
29/7/2019 15:31 | Darren, forgive me, but you speak of 'investor sentiment' but that would require investors. As I understand it the company is no longer publicly listed and therefore there are no 'investors' as you have put it. There is a lot of sour sentiment, that I will grant you, but as even Chav has recognised, there is no 'investment' any more. Or do you think they will somehow decide to bring back the listing, with all the costs and trouble that will bring, when clearly it would not be in their interests to do so? I see no reason for them to even mention the tanker and what they get for the oil if they don't want to. It is their oil and their business...I've not met many crooks/villains give back their ill-gotten gains if they don't have to. Topicel | topicel
29/7/2019 13:09 | Good news Tony, hopefully now they’ll update the website with formal confirmation. A lot has transpired since they took over and no updates given, the longer they leave it the more investor sentiment will sour (its pretty sour already). A full update on current state of play is more than overdue!! | darren81
29/7/2019 12:45 | The boat is loaded and on it's way ! . Lets hope it helps " Keep our boat afloat " | tone the bone1

25/7/2019 10:37 | If i could speak russian i would give it a go!! sadly i struggle with yorkshire lingo. I understand darren months ago sent a list of questions on the companies Q&A board but to no avail,i'm sure he could confirm? | martyn9
24/7/2019 22:35 | Has anyone tried contacting the company? | takeachance1
24/7/2019 18:27 | The fact that they have organised a shipment and Art hasn’t went bankrupt are positives - what isn’t positive is that we’ve had to find this info ourselves. I’m not writing this off by any means!!! | darren81
24/7/2019 18:10 | We heard you first time | neftanik
24/7/2019 17:54 | Sorry Darren mate, but I think it's a case of objective achieved. I think its probably healthier to accept the company has been high jacked, end of, move on and forget it. | chavitravi2

24/7/2019 14:21 | They must've had their fill neft, the tanker has finally left the island - after almost 3 weeks! Let's hope they managed to offload the oil in storage. It's over 5 months now since the new board took over, their statement after taking over implied they were going to do things differently from the previous (shambolic) directors but we've had radio silence ever since. An update of the current state of play is required and I hope they provide one soon!! | darren81
23/7/2019 08:39 | Latest news: The crews of the tanker and tug are ashore eating reindeer shashlik and drinking samagon. They will then go hunting for "siski". They are expected to sober up sometime in September. | neftanik
18/7/2019 19:54 | Cue the traditional 5-day oil price collapse. | amargosa
