18/5/2009 19:51 | landwatcher - Definately dilute the sp, but you have to take into account where the price is now. Didn't VS once state at these levels the share price is at junk levels. I believe that if Sberbank had already taken back D&T and UEN was progressing with it's disposal programme then the current share price would be significantly higher than 9p. Currently there is the uncertainty combined with a seller, so we are where we are, but the price can change in a flash. As for dilution i am not overly concerned, the company have stated they are looking at options that will enhance shareholder value. I'm with Dusseldorf, minimum of 25p to 40/50p. The changes in the tax rules must make UEN additionally attractive, greatly improving cash flow. | gooner6
18/5/2009 19:43 | L&S - from my admittedly poor knowledge in comparison to others who kindly frequent this BB: debts are kept at bay with ongoing production/storage; Chep was 'divested' with buy back option - one less cost from an uneconomic (at the time of divestiture) POO point of view.....and an asset for the future. In the period 6/01 until 29/04 the BoD was looking for a 'short term loan' to see the co through to delisting - that was all that was required. Maybe I'm entirely wrong and someone will correct me but the way this has been played is text book imo when you looks across the piece from October last year until now (macro world economics accounted for & included). Cheers all, OTU | on the up
18/5/2009 18:17 | I have been with UEN for some months now please with the increase from when I invested at 3.65p - I have 89633 shares. I feel good about this company and future share price. | lalria
18/5/2009 17:49 | If we get to keep D&T which is looking more likely week by week, do we know what will happen with the old debts contractors etc (and who has been paying these in the short term)+ interest for the £630 loan that would of other wise of been taken on by sberbank.? | lift and shift
18/5/2009 17:43 | landwatcher - any debt solution involving equity will dilute, question is what is the strike price - IMO (hence my buying in) it will be 25 - 50p/share | dusseldorf
18/5/2009 17:34 | gooner, will the debt equity facility dilute sp? | landwatcher
18/5/2009 17:21 | Some observations. Sberbank are obviously open to UEN retaining it assets and also under the right agreement prepared to finance UEN with additional capital. The question is what would be the terms of Sberbank. I'm not convinced that Sberbank would provide a straigh forward vanilla debt facility. Certainly if they were to, i believe they would require UEN to farm-out a percentage of either Dulisma or Taas and element of those proceeds utilised to reduce the Sberbank loan facility exposure. Alternatively Sberbank may be looking at a debt/equity facility, this i believe is more likely. Sberbank are obviously prepared to discuss the financial requirements, hence there is a deal to be done. | gooner6
