18/5/2009 13:39 | So all agreed! Who wants to inform the mms that this is a done deal and a demand a re-rating;) | mlightfoot
18/5/2009 13:37 | or at the begggining anywhere but during perhaps | gibso6767
18/5/2009 13:36 | I'd imagine the new man has already been involved in the talks and most things have been agreed. They are merely shuffling the board so it's in their favour. I'm hoping the next RNS will be before month end and will finally explain what's happened and where we are heading (hopefully north!). | goooba769
18/5/2009 13:35 | beginner3 - 18 May'09 - 13:33 - 24896 of 24897 thats what i was thinking. | itskashyap

18/5/2009 13:34 | dashwoodchris - ditto | beginner3
18/5/2009 13:33 | Folks - May be I am too simple and naive, for me it looks very clear,u only go thru the hassle of appointing new ppl to the board if u r almost done the deal....it might be contitional by SB to appoint and replace!! PLEASE correct me if I am wrong | beginner3
18/5/2009 13:32 | Ucasavi - Echo Dussels comments. | mlightfoot
18/5/2009 13:31 | ucasavi - They used a similar term in the 'we know of no reason' rns on 17th April relating to the share price movement, yet 12 days later the 'about turn' rns was released, therefore you cannot totally take as gospel what is stated in these rns's. There is obviously some wriggle room given. My take would be for the big 'deal done' rns to come out towards the end of next week or the beginning of the week after (w/c 1st June) AIMHO etc | dashwoodchris
18/5/2009 13:31 | gents i have bought numerous publications on investing be it trading for dummies ,the weekly investors chronicle and also the economist book of investments however i have learnt so much more by reading this forum so many thanks to all be they have bull or bear sentiment | gibso6767
18/5/2009 13:30 | gooba - If the price drops enough i will continue to buy, use as trading stock. | gooner6
18/5/2009 13:28 | ucasavi - The term 'material development' basically means something concrete and signed of direct benefit/impact to the market. They could be on the cusp of a market breaking deal, but they still cannot claim anything has been agreed legally. Patience | dusseldorf
18/5/2009 13:28 | it's not material until the ink is on the paper. | johnspain
18/5/2009 13:26 | I presume if the deal has been already done, it would be illigal to write "no material development" imop | ucasavi
18/5/2009 13:26 | Now have 70 holders holding 19m shares which is 10.77% of UEN. | carlito sway
18/5/2009 13:25 | still going then gooner! youll own half the company at this rate Lol | goooba769
18/5/2009 13:24 | I do wonder if the deal with Sherbank is done already in relation to header-terms and these board change announcements are simply to prepare/groom the market for the big RNS confirming a number of changes. Or at least if the deal was done by the new BoDs and Sherbank were on the hook for only supporting it if the exec changes were made!?!? Just a thought! Would seem like a sensible PR strategy though, however if a deal had been agreed, I do suspect we may have seen the share price move higher by now! | mlightfoot
18/5/2009 13:23 | No... there's nearly 177 million in circulation! | carlito sway |
