Directorate Change

Urals Energy, an independent oil exploration and production company today
announces the appointment of Grigory Kazakov as the Company's Chief Financial
Officer. Mr Kazakov will replace Vladimir Sidorovich with immediate effect, who
will remain with the Company as a Non-Executive Director.


Mr Kazakov was previously Urals' Vice President of Finance and has been with the
Company since 2005. He has an extensive experience in the financial and oil and
gas sectors and has held senior positions in PwC's audit and transactions
practices in Moscow. He will be responsible for the Company's financial
management and reporting.


Further to the announcement made on 29 April 2009, discussions have continued
between the Company and Sberbank regarding restructuring options beyond the
previously proposed asset divestitures. While these discussions continue, no
material progress has yet been made and there can be no guarantee on the outcome
of these discussions.

Further updates will be provided in due course


Vyacheslav Ivanov, Chief Executive commented:


"Grigory is intimately familiar with the company and I am pleased to welcome him
as our new Chief Financial Officer. His experience in the oil and gas sector
will be important in assisting Urals in its current operations. I thank Mr

shares14 has a few times stated what has occurred a drop in share price due to lack of news and buys also the few big sells also ,however somebody has bought them .
We should be wary of back slapping and whooping each other on by just saying bull sentiments and have a board with perhaps doubting thomases is not the exact description but similiar ,I am holding ( i also envisaged it dropping ,loosing momentum ) however realise that a nice rns could come at any second,also remeber paper losses are ecaclty that ,if my premium bond cheque comes in in the next few days i may buy more

Shares is not deramping, he is stating the obvious, the price is likely to drift without news, but news could come at anytime.

The price will move so quickly on the right news that buyers will really struggle to buy any volume.

If they drop it the 7p then i am in for a fair few more.

You are correct. There is really nothing more to say right now over at UEN until an RNS clarifies the current state-of-play. This is in no way a climbdown from my stated beliefs, but I do wish they would get on with it..

Took the new bird out last night, Living Room, Manchester, sat eating, wondered why twenty tables empty, 10 mins later entire Utd squad turned up with Cup, party is an understatement!!, told Rooney to buy into UEN!!
