With no D&T, it would be less painfull for Sbr than for us if UEN is finished. So we will be the biggerst losers, so I think Sbr feel easier here. Plus I think there is a huge pressure to bring the strategic assets back under control of the state. So while Sbr is eager to make a deal, some shareholders that have been reported to oppose a JV, may be bullied to get out very easily.
So do not discrad politics here imho

The company have already given a big hint that D&T are going no where, plus they are is discussions with Sberbank regarding finance.

UEN have done an about turn from the original plan, ie delist and return surplus to shareholders, can't see them doing another one.

Sberbank were named in the last RNS, as such i would assume they are supportive on UEN to carry on as a listed company and retaining D&T.

This is not a stock for the weak minded.

Yes mlightfoot let's not go down that route - the mm's will probably lower the price the the lowest average! ;) Can still buy 150k at 10.125 sell 20k at 9.51 :)

ucasavi- I see it differently. If SB agreed to take back assets plus all liabilities and don't know how to manage it because the Gov won't allow it to sell, then the bank may have had to come back to UEN

Guys just because VS has not been around to take calls this does not mean he is avoiding us. He's never let us down before. We all know how quickly this stock CAN move and its obvious its just the MM's abusing the situation again - don't let it get to you, just remember why you bought in and what your exit strategy was.

Right now Sberbank have got almost all cards as, not wanting to de-license DT, but not able to find anyone else, they can say UEN that either play our game or go under the hammer with little prospect for the shareholder. In this case even those who do not agree with the deal or not wanted by Sberbank as a part of the dael will not win anything if the co is defaulted, it is better for them to clear off even at this price than to argue with the state.

mlightfoot - if he is a CEO worth his salt he may make positive noises, but he will actually tell you nothing of substance. You're just as well waiting like the rest of us. You can guarantee the individuals holding greater than 10% already have his ear and already have communicated the same feelings us smaller holders have about a return of value and avoidance of dilution..
