15/8/2006 00:12 | rcktmn, I see you posting similar comments and questions elsehwere, if you are not willing to invest for the long term, I suggest you join the shorter term traders and buy shares in September and sell in May, and do not hold any shares during the summer. The summer months, start May to end August are the weakest times and not a time to be holding and not understanding why a vast amount of stocks are all at lows or bumping along the bottom. | papalpower
15/8/2006 00:08 | Its going down on minimal volume. t1ps.com retain their buy rating. There is no bad news. This would tell you that during the recent correction lots of people sold, and nobody has purchased back in any volume, so there is a small overhang, and while it remains like that, then small seling volume will drop the price. Pre results buying will commence in September, as it always does, so you would expect a run down ahead of that. If its not moving up by mid September, then there could be some problems, until then its like lots of other unloved stocks, its waiting for general sentiment to improve. Interim results are due on or before 30th Sept 2006. | papalpower
14/8/2006 20:16 | rcktmn,.... don't give up hope yet. Still 3 weeks to results and there are other companies suffering the same for lack of news. Remember, if there was bad news, they would have been obliged to publish it. | piedro
14/8/2006 19:43 | Think you're right... very disappointed I got taken in. | rcktmn
14/8/2006 19:37 | Pants isn't it!... Papal... no disrespect mate but where's the usual pre-results rally ! | rcktmn
14/8/2006 18:30 | Being gently shorted to nudge it down in preparation for an opportunistic bid??? | boadicea
14/8/2006 16:18 | And down she goes again! | verynervy
14/8/2006 14:53 | I repeat my earlier comments. A takeover of the main rump of the business is the only hope of recovering some of our capital. | rabbrooks
09/8/2006 08:26 | Yup it appeared on my radar screen but before I could do anything a missile was auto-launched! | verynervy
08/8/2006 12:02 | This one has just appeared on my radar screen so had a quick look at the accounts and AGM statement. At the moment I don't see why the company has written off 825K last yaer and 844K this year on discontinued ops. Will the writeoffs continue and is it in relation to the Currency division? What's really putting me off short term are the payments on leases and loans at £1.3M and an asset base which is substantially goodwill. Once the curency division has been sold (How much do they expect to sell it for?) and debt reduced I think that the outlook will be much brighter. | mo123
08/8/2006 11:35 | As long as your not heavily geared a quick look at MPH chart might chear you up. Also had great forecasts but got walked down to ridiculous levels, before bouncing over 100% in a couple of week. | andyh78
08/8/2006 11:35 | Hmm, I'm glad I reduced my holding a good few pence higher than this - but not so glad I still have some! I agree with PapalPower that the sale of Master Change is needed ... badly needed! But I'm concerned that despite Universe actively seeking and talking to potential buyers, no deal has yet been done. The 'holiday'season' is approaching its end and I would expect any potential buyer to want the immediate benefit and payback of owning MC throughout the whole season ... so isn't the division becoming more difficult to sell this year with every passing day - or correspondingly - the selling price being eroded with every passing day? I'm not optimistic of sale news coming through with the interims. Something like that should warrant it's own SNS ... and the silence is deafening. | carterdl
08/8/2006 11:32 | I am now down around 62% on this....so much for following the ceo. No one to blame but myself I guess. At least it`s big brother RTD is making me a good profit. I do not see any reason for this fall on little volume. There must be something nasty coming that us pi`s are not aware of.Either that or it is the silly season going further than normal. All idea`s welcome Merc | mercedes
08/8/2006 10:34 | It looks like it is just one sell of 100,000 that has caused the price crash but the point is if there is any credance to the forecasts why are these type of sells occuring and why are there not big buys outweiging them? The only conclusion you can draw is that the garden is not as rosy as painted or most investors are badly wrong, I think the former! | verynervy
08/8/2006 09:42 | Only one buy showing up but there must be a big seller aswell out there! Sorry PAPALPOWER but this is one dodgy share! | verynervy
08/8/2006 09:19 | All Loosing a stack on this one.......come on someone .............cheer me up Merc | mercedes
08/8/2006 08:52 | Well there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel for this share, it makes you wonder if there is some hidden agenda! | verynervy
02/8/2006 09:49 | How grim is this ! keeps going down... sells going thru at 12.5p... something good needs to happen and quick to stop the rot ! | rcktmn |
