03/3/2006 14:49 | Did not last too long :) 1 v 1 with EVO offering at 17p so should be able to buy at just under 17p. | papalpower
03/3/2006 11:19 | L2 moving up now, 2 v 2 We are not too many weeks away now from results, and we should see the start of a sharp move up soon, I hope. | papalpower
03/3/2006 11:13 | Read the date again. It says 2 February not 2nd March | gubinz

03/3/2006 09:54 | Yesterdays announcement ? I have checked on the one a month ago (which was only a single reduction) and all I got fed back with was it was part of their realignment of investment strategy for 06. I will be very distrubed if any bad news comes, I have checked all available avenues and find nothing. | papalpower
03/3/2006 08:40 | As you know I too hold these shares and have done so by the blinding facts which seem to say its a buy. However, you didnt mention yesterdays announcement of a trimming of an investment companys stake at a time when we are confident of a big rise??????? | verynervy
03/3/2006 04:32 | Director buys, new contracts, a good set of interims.........and not that far away from prelims now :) | papalpower
28/2/2006 08:57 | ....and director buys | jwe
28/2/2006 05:31 | ssvjs, I still maintain that if results are in line, and the HTEC progress is as good as is said, these should be over 25p by results time. I hope that results are in line, I would be very disappointed if not, and have seen not one pointer or news piece saying they should not be in line. ;) All there has been is good news on new contracts and orders. | papalpower
27/2/2006 18:30 | i see they have oneas buy, and one as query but both buys. | ssvsjs
27/2/2006 13:50 | 2 v 1 on L2 with WINS moving up, you got the 56K from Winterfloods then I presume. | papalpower
27/2/2006 13:42 | Well done ssvsjs, 17.1 is good compared to the 18p offered before :) | papalpower
27/2/2006 13:00 | just bought in two 28000 batches online @ 17.1 ave £9240,good luck. | ssvsjs
27/2/2006 12:27 | Funny things going on ssvjs, I am not sure if its just a smallholder shake. If you want large volume you really have to pay over the offer, yet the bid is surpressed down and EVO appear to be happy to offload. If you look at recent trading over the past 2 months, masses of small holding sells, and yet everytime a large buy comes in, or buying volume comes in on news, the offer is up by a large amount. I know it was a surprise the amount of people wanting div this time and not scrip, so this is why perhaps looking for a reduction in shareholder numbers, more smallholdings out and get a few larger holders in ? Do not know. | papalpower
27/2/2006 12:18 | just tried to buy £10,000 on that size i was quoted 18 so i did not complete, might try two batches of £5,000why big mark up? | ssvsjs
26/2/2006 22:05 | ssvsjs, I think, based on my checking, that this is very undervalued. Unless everyone is hiding something (and I think not) then this is just out of favour during the present oil boom. As results time nears I would expect to see some upwards movement here. In my opinion it should be at around 25p at results, and depending how bullish the results are then it could this year go higher and near to the 30p range. I keep waiting patiently in the meantime (fingers crossed that there is no hidden goings on ;) ) | papalpower
26/2/2006 20:33 | quite like the look of this share, through reading back bb's might try £10,000 tomorrow.I hope for a change in fortune in small caps down on everything at the moment, trk 3dm afc bprg demg irn GOOD luck all. | ssvsjs
24/2/2006 15:36 | Rabbrooks, nothing like a good old rub ;) I honestly have checked as far as I can without phoning up Ray Mackie and asking him "what the hell is happening". If I was the CEO, and to he honest, seeing all these small shareholders sell, I would be very happy on a good saving coming up on admin costs on the shareholder base being reduced, but yes, a few large buys now to snap it all up would be good and also ease the stress :) | papalpower
24/2/2006 15:15 | Papal power You have an unfortunate title as it does rub up presbyterian contributors, but that aside ,your writings are sensible and ,I hope, accurate. I have been involved with this firm since Adam was a boy hoping that that the strategic decisions would bear fruit. It's still a long slog for shareholders but I detect a degree of confidence even if a large group of small shareholders have given up the ghost. A larger purchase by an institution would be the most effective in giving us all some hope that our investment policies have not been in vain. | rabbrooks
24/2/2006 01:44 | Masurenguy, I like conspiracy theories, what we have here I think is a shake out of all the small holders, the amount of sells of under 1000, and under 5000, and under 10,000 volume has been amazing. The MM's are helping themselves to cheap shares while it happens and pushing down to the 15p base line, and the company is keeping quiet perhaps as if they can reduce the number of shareholders, its a bonus for them on admin costs. All these small PI's all seem to be selling UNG and piling into hot oil stocks. So, I have checked as much as I can check, everything at UNG is bullish as from the interims as far as is known, so unless some mysterious happenings have gone on, its solid good news all the way and a return to full year profitability on the cards. Looking forward to getting into the first week of March. | papalpower
23/2/2006 21:46 | These shares have drifted down by around 35% since quite positive Interims in September. Is their chequered history and management credibility the main reason for this since the share price performance seems to be at odds with the last reported figures and more recent broker projections ? | masurenguy
17/2/2006 08:14 | jwe you just moved L2 then, it was 1 v 1 but after your buy its now 2 v 1, your a market mover :) | papalpower
17/2/2006 08:09 | OK pp,i`ve just added 20k having looked back through the RNS it looks a good bet.It was in profit at H1 even with first remit, which now has been sold. All the indications are this will produce a good set of finals with a good outlook following contract wins.Nevertheless this is still my smallest holding,so my add further after the results. | jwe |
