13/3/2006 10:37 | Lets hope that "possible" does come through, the S&F throw out of 500K might have been a warning shot for Ray to concede and increase the div. | papalpower
13/3/2006 10:24 | I agree that an increase in the dividend to 1p should have a very positive impact on the price.Personally i think a divi increase is quite possible but not a `given`. | jwe
13/3/2006 08:52 | True carterdl there are a number of things to bring attention back to UNG. In order to gain back the insitutional attention they need to be at 1p or above dividend level I think, being at 0.75 has lost them some "points" and I think, hope, they have the message now. The future looks sound, the sale of Master Change would be a good move, but increases to dividend levels is where I see a key to positive change given the present story, anyone else have any comments ? | papalpower
13/3/2006 08:48 | It will be interesting to see how things pan out this year. I'm taking the view that it's not so much that sentiment is poor, but that investors are largely indifferent to UNG for a while now and that indifference will likely continue following the upcoming results, despite good fundamentals. But I accept all that can change quickly - here's hoping it does, so I hope you are right PP. There are certainly a number of things that could drive the share upward: results ahead of forecast, higher and rising dividend, sale of Master Change, continued good newsflow from HTEC contract wins, significant broker upgrade, increased investor attention through being tipped in the media. | carterdl
12/3/2006 13:22 | verynervy, I think a higher dividend and mention of a progressive dividend policy will be enough to bring back positive sentiment. | papalpower
12/3/2006 09:36 | Think his point was that although he may be a believer given the facts, sentiment remains poor for whatever reason!! | verynervy
12/3/2006 05:46 | caterdl, we were above 25p at interims and UNG has progressed more since then with good contract news, although I think given a good H1 06 performance from UNG we will see come interims a price of 30p or over, in 2006. We are now on (this present financial year) a pr EPS of 2.3p that could well be upgraded to nearer the 3p level. Now 10 times pr current year EPS is not too much to ask, so very good potential this year. | papalpower
11/3/2006 12:37 | Hi folks. I'm a longterm (frustrated!) holder of UNG. I'm not as optimistic as some that we could go to about the 25p level upon upcoming results ... unless there is news of Master Change being sold (especially if the price is good enough to reduce debt significantly). Also, if Charles Stanley's forecasts are accurate, I can only see a gentle rise over the next 12 months. Patience will still be required I think, because UNG just doesn't have the profile or prospects to suggest a big re-rating. I will continue to hold though, because it does seem to be moving in the right direction and at some stage Master Change will indeed go. I can't see a big risk of downside from the current level and am hopeful of seeing 30p+ before the end of 2007. | carterdl
11/3/2006 08:48 | Thanks ducatiman, that they are down on the offer is not a concern, they were the newest MM to join recently, and are moving around with a level book depending on the smallest buys/sells. It all bodes well recent events, and we could, I hope, be looking for a blue week ahead now. | papalpower
11/3/2006 08:44 | it was scap, papal | ducatiman

11/3/2006 01:29 | gowise, I was not watching at the end, was it EVO back down on the offer ? | papalpower
10/3/2006 17:15 | To bloody late now gowise. Typical | ted1806
10/3/2006 15:49 | there you are ted, now's your chance! | gowise
10/3/2006 13:18 | Also H2 05 was expected to be slightly slower than H1, but then H1 of this year 06 should be in excess of H1 05, as can be seen from the contract win news. It all bodes for a good set of prelims and solid growth into the interims for this year as well. | papalpower
10/3/2006 13:17 | gowise, thanks for the info. All pointers are positive and the recent press release says it all : BCP/HTEC Hydraccord Solution Rolled Out to Henderson Group Forecourts 13th Jan 2006 The rate of implementation shows no signs of abating as an increasing number of independents opt for the Hydraccord solution and the Henderson Group expands its store estate across Northern Ireland. Implementations range from two and three lane stores to large seven lane outlets like the 3,000 sq ft forecourt store at Ranfurly in Dungannon, County Tyrone, and cover the full range of fuel suppliers – BP, Shell, Texaco, Esso and Maxol - the system being flexible enough to cater for the different card preferences of all these suppliers. | papalpower
10/3/2006 13:15 | papal, this stock carries a very low nms so it doesnt take much to move them. Earlier evo were bidding for only 1000 pieces and were offering 25k on the autos, so they have stock to sell. It's the results I'm looking forward to. | gowise
10/3/2006 12:15 | Interesting that EVO have been doing most of the selling at around 17p level, and now it was EVO who went up on the offer, now at 19.5p | papalpower
10/3/2006 12:12 | A break through 17.5p is key, a finish at 18p some day soon would be a very strong sign. | papalpower
10/3/2006 12:10 | WOW and a tick up. Nearly fell off me bloody chair...lol | ted1806
10/3/2006 12:09 | L2 1 v 1 now :) | papalpower
10/3/2006 12:01 | gowise, some decent buying volume will give it away, I was quite positive that the books were near level, and then a bad start to the week for the markets saw some more sells, but around 75K buys ahead of sells should see a mark up. | papalpower
10/3/2006 11:55 | the fact you couldn't get them can only be a good sign, Ted. | gowise
10/3/2006 11:52 | Close but no cigar! Roll on results then. | ted1806 |
